Of all the places we tried during our vacation, this restaurant was my favorite. The dishes were delicious (so inviting I started eating right away without even taking a photo!) and impeccably presented. We had the octopus (special), the super tender tuna sashimi, and a first course of homemade pasta with lobster, which was not on the menu that day. Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned. We dined under the olive tree, which created a relaxed and romantic atmosphere. I would definitely go back!

Superb place. Top service, exceptional dinner. We had 2 seafood appetizers, 2 seafood first courses, 2 desserts, and 2 myrtle liqueurs. Everything was delicious. We'll be back and highly recommend it.

Second dinner in three days...it lived up to expectations. For our last dinner before returning from vacation, we wanted to indulge and end on a high note. Excellent fresh fish, a tasting as an appetizer, and fried red shrimp, calamari, and cod to follow...everything was top-notch, very reasonable prices for the quality and service...an outdoor location with beautiful marble tables. We'll definitely be back next year... P.S. Vermentino from very good wineries, quality in the drink too...

We had a lovely evening with my family. All the dishes were very tasty, and the staff were extremely nice and friendly. The cozy outdoor garden created a wonderful atmosphere. I can highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to taste sardinia food in calm atmosphere.

24/07/2026: We had a great experience at Ristorante Barbagia. The restaurant was busy, which is why I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. The staff were hardworking, friendly and very fast, always making sure everything was taken care of. We ordered the traditional Sardinian Porceddu (roast suckling pig), and it was juicy, tender and full of flavour. I also had the boar, and it was exceptional. The meat was incredibly soft, juicy and literally melted in my mouth. The potatoes served with the dishes were also excellent and perfectly cooked. We also tried the salmon pasta, which was delicious and full of flavour. One thing that really stood out was the portion sizes, which were very generous and definitely worth it. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Olbia. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent, but make sure to reserve a table in advance because the restaurant is almost always full.
