22/03/2026: I visit Polignano a Mare several times every year and always visit CRU, owned by the same people who run Osteria di Chichibio. The food and decor are, as always, top-notch. From details like the lamps and cutlery to my favorite fluted glasses. Unfortunately, on my last visit, there was no one at the entrance. An older gentleman (presumably the chef) came out, being rather curt and rude. He quickly offered me a table and left. The bad taste remained, as I'd brought someone very close to me, and from the moment I entered, my enthusiasm plummeted. We expected the kind of hospitality I return to every year, but in this case, the hospitality that Massimiliano and Vittoria possess was lacking.

07/03/2026: Very good food, really nice place, excelent location, great service. We had lunch in March. Fresh sea food, excelent cooked. We reccomend this place for an authentic taste and experience.

31/01/2026: What a wonderful place. We visited this welcoming restaurant with friends. What can I say? It's a truly charming place. The owner and his wife are truly unique, making you feel like family, as is Mauro, the waiter. Everyone is polite and attentive, practically perfect. Let's move on to the food. Oh my god, everything was excellent, as you can see from the dishes. It's truly a place to stop if you're passing through Giovinazzo. My sincere thanks to Mimmo, Angela, and Mauro for the service we received, a truly unique experience. UNIQUE!

12/04/2026: This family restaurant was recommended to us by our BnB host. It sees very little tourist traffic. We went two days in a row at 8PM, and the place was mostly empty. By 9PM, it got packed with locals. We went in looking for seafoods, and it delivered. Pasta with clams and mussels, pasta with tuna, risotto with seafood were all outstanding. The price is also very reasonable, especially for it's portion.

07/04/2026: The service was first-rate; we felt very comfortable, and the waiters were quick and efficient. The dishes were excellent, and the prices were reasonable. It was a pleasant and delicious time.

19/03/2026: Overall, my experience at this restaurant was mixed. The appetizers were very good and carefully prepared, truly the highlight of the meal. The first courses, however, didn't convince me: in my case, the pasta with sauce (which was supposed to be with cardoncelli mushrooms and Norcia mushrooms) had a rather sweet and very liquid sauce, lacking the main ingredients. (The photo was taken after only three forkfuls; after that, I couldn't continue like the others.) The second courses were decent, well-cooked but without any particular distinguishing features. The service, however, was a bit slow: we were among the first to arrive but among the last to receive our second course, when many in the dining room had already finished. Another small note about the organization: when we booked, we were given the option of choosing dishes à la carte, but once we arrived, we were asked to choose the same first course for the entire table. This was understandable for organizational reasons, but it would have been better to clarify this upfront. Overall, a place with potential, but with some areas that could be improved.

16/03/2026: As always, the Bari hinterland amazes, as this beautiful restaurant in Bari clearly continues to grow. Good menu, excellent food, generous portions, and a wide selection of fresh seafood. The location is very pretty, overlooking the sea.

01/04/2026: Excellent food. Friendly and helpful staff. Location: I think it's much more profitable in the summer. In the winter, it loses ground due to the very noisy and unpleasant-smelling air heating. I'd invest in something more elegant (pellet stoves?). Also, the central area, not used for a buffet due to the season, feels a bit run-down.

25/02/2026: Elegant and romantic atmosphere, highly trained staff. Dishes are original without being pretentious. Prices are proportionate to the quality of service and cuisine.

22/03/2026: Our second visit in Bari and to this restaurant in 18 months and the quality remains outstanding. We tried the octopus salad, the orecchiette con rapa, paccheri with seafood, and a rich zuppa di pesce with whole shrimp and mussels. Each dish full of authentic Puglian flavour. The Neapolitan-style pizzas have been super delicious, even in the gluten-free version. They are AIC-certified (The Italian Celiac Association), with nearly the entire menu available gluten-free as well, including a delicious pistachio cheesecake. A must-visit in Bari.

18/03/2026: We visited this restaurant last Saturday with some friends who had been there several times before. We were very pleased with the food, the courtesy, and the speed of the service. Good value, we'll definitely be back.

06/04/2026: For starters, the Antiche Mura appetizer platter is a must—it's a great selection that lets you try a bit of everything. The oysters were excellent. We also had a pasta as a warm starter, and it was very satisfying. For the main course, don’t miss the Mura specialty: the fish of the day. Portions are reasonable, the ambiance is beautiful, the service is attentive, and the prices are very fair for the overall experience.

10/01/2026: The food is good, and I wouldn't consider it expensive, but I hate the fact that they don't bring me the bill and just tell me the total verbally, so I can't check the details. It's unprofessional. How much did the fish I ordered weigh? How much did some of the dishes we ordered that weren't on the menu cost? We'll never know.
