16/03/2026: We went for lunch on Sunday. The fish-based menu was delicious, from appetizer to dessert. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and Maria was very good at recommending the various courses. They recommended I return for the pizza... Remember to reserve a table, it's very popular.

12/04/2026: Unfortunately, the paella we ordered contained several broken shells of bivalve mollusks, which, hidden in the squid ink, created problems for us when chewing. We had to eat carefully, discarding the pieces of shell, invisible to the naked eye, in every bite. Furthermore, we found very little cuttlefish and squid in the paella, but plenty of shellfish. Given that we have been enjoying the restaurant for years and this is the first time such an "inconvenience" has occurred, we have appreciated the staff's dedication and professionalism, qualities that are rarely taken for granted these days. Their ability to listen to our complaint without arguing or justifying it allows us to conclude that a one-off problem can occur without compromising our opinion of the restaurant's excellent quality. We have sampled nearly every item on the menu over time—tapas, paella, and meat—and have always expressed praise for the quality of the ingredients and the preparation. We will remain your customers and can only recommend your Don Juan.

09/03/2026: A wonderful place, in a historic setting. The food is delicious, and the quality deserves top marks. The staff is very courteous and professional.

02/03/2026: What can I say? I went there yesterday with a group of family members (apparently it was the reopening day)... it was a real pain. The only thing I can say is that the fish is fresh, but the service and preparation aren't up to par. The first courses are overcooked and the second courses are lousy. The location is very nice, but it's not enough to warrant a high rating. Try again.

05/02/2026: If you want to enjoy fresh, well-prepared seafood in a pleasant seaside setting, Playa del Sol is the place to try. We've been returning for years whenever possible, preferably avoiding weekends because it's always packed! On the coastal road between Giovinazzo and Molfetta, two beautiful villages worth visiting in the province of Bari.

21/04/2026: Definitely busy based on their Spaghetti all'assassina basically fried spaghetti with a little heat (less than anticipated). Make sure to have a reservation. Wine is cheaper by quantify - order a litre. Other pasta is very flavourful.

15/04/2026: I came to this restaurant with one sole purpose: to eat the Spaghetti all'Assassina, which is why this restaurant is often mentioned. Well, I can only say that they are EXCEPTIONAL, truly a dish worthy of A+. I can only compliment the Chef for the mastery with which he brings this dish to life. If you come to Bari, "you knew..."

06/04/2026: A historic villa surrounded by an orange grove and greenery, a truly romantic and enchanting place, an oasis of peace in the heart of Polignano. The food is truly exquisite, the owners are friendly and helpful, the staff is very professional, and the chefs are truly wonderful. Highly recommended.

02/04/2026: I went to this restaurant with my family to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. From the moment we made our reservation, the owner was kind and helpful. We spoke several times by phone to plan the menu and cake selection. Upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly, once again with extreme kindness and helpfulness. The lunch, which included appetizers, first courses, and second courses, was superb, beautifully presented, and delicious and authentic. The cake, created by the restaurant's chef, was also up to par with the rest of the menu: delicious and light. The elegant and refined location is surrounded by a citrus grove, which provides a stunning backdrop; everything is perfect. I highly recommend it, both for a special occasion and for a relaxing lunch or dinner!

08/03/2026: A lovely restaurant with a charming atmosphere, beautiful decor, and historic walls. Excellent service, quick and attentive. The surf and turf appetizers and the orecchiette pasta with monkfish cream and seafood were both excellent. Highly recommended.

15/03/2026: One of my favorite places One of my favorite places, not just in Altamura, but in general. The quality is truly top-notch, and every time it's a unique sensory experience where Chef Donato Calvi amazes you with each of his creations. My favorite dishes are the spaghetti experience, the savory panettone/colomba, the fake risotto, the marrow with tartare, and the gelato with warm brioche. My wife, on the other hand, is captivated by the artichoke with sour cream, but I recommend trying them all because they're truly worth it.
