10/01/2026: The food is good, and I wouldn't consider it expensive, but I hate the fact that they don't bring me the bill and just tell me the total verbally, so I can't check the details. It's unprofessional. How much did the fish I ordered weigh? How much did some of the dishes we ordered that weren't on the menu cost? We'll never know.

06/06/2026: Excellent restaurant in the city center, small but very welcoming. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and they make you feel at home. Superior quality dishes, all very fresh, excellent raw fish, phenomenal first courses, and the famous Pasta all'Assassina, the best in Bari. Recommended.

14/05/2026: We entered Bar Cortigiano, and it wasn't our first time there. We were already familiar with the old management, so we immediately noticed the change. This time, we were asked to pay in advance, and we were a bit surprised. We ordered a peach juice for €5, but after about half an hour, it still hadn't arrived. Meanwhile, however, other customers seated after us were already being served coffees and beers without any problems. At that point, we had to complain, pointing out that we had already paid but our drinks hadn't arrived yet. We felt that the organization was poorly organized and the management had deteriorated compared to the past. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience compared to how we remembered the place.

10/05/2026: I just went to Cortigiano for a coffee. I thought it was a classy place, but instead I found unprepared staff and above all, those who don't know the difference between casein allergy and lactose intolerance. It's absurd, given that they should have the knowledge and a certificate. But the most shameful scene is the PDP in which a chef turned to the pastry chef saying "move, aren't you talking to your friends? All this in front of customers, really, after the staff runs the place??? And surely if tasty desserts or dishes come out, it's thanks to the chef??? Absurd. They never went again. Highly not recommended, and above all, they didn't have a list of allergens and ingredients in sight of what they do as per HCCP regulations.

13/05/2026: Some friends of ours (regulars) have been inviting us to this wonderful place for a while now, especially for paella. We ordered a few appetizers, rosé wine, and the famous paella!!! This last dish is incredibly delicious. Served in two-handled pans, it smells smoky, as if cooked over a wood fire... with gorgeous fish and a slight spicy flavor! Delicious, to say the least! Carmen, who served us at the table, with her kind manner and smile, completed the job. Thank you so much 🤗

21/04/2026: We had lunch as a group with a set menu. The squid ink focaccia was truly delicious, the octopus and potato salad was tender and flavorful. The pasta with beans and mussels was good. Unfortunately, we ate inside, so there was no sea view. The service was prompt. The price was perhaps a little high for the quantity, but it was also true that it was a fish-based menu.

21/04/2026: Definitely busy based on their Spaghetti all'assassina basically fried spaghetti with a little heat (less than anticipated). Make sure to have a reservation. Wine is cheaper by quantify - order a litre. Other pasta is very flavourful.

15/04/2026: I came to this restaurant with one sole purpose: to eat the Spaghetti all'Assassina, which is why this restaurant is often mentioned. Well, I can only say that they are EXCEPTIONAL, truly a dish worthy of A+. I can only compliment the Chef for the mastery with which he brings this dish to life. If you come to Bari, "you knew..."

22/02/2026: Excellent seafood restaurant in the historic center of Corato. Fresh fish and traditional local cuisine. It's a shame there's no outdoor seating, but the indoor dining area is pleasant.

08/01/2026: I spent Christmas Eve there on December 24th. The quality, the attention to nickel allergies, the welcoming atmosphere, the kindness of the owners, and the truly exquisite dishes made the evening impeccable! Excellent, highly recommended!!

24/11/2025: As always, everything was excellent quality, with the freshest fish and the option of meat dishes for those who don't eat fish. Excellent wines. The appetizers even included excellent sushi. The cake was exquisite. They even allowed our little furry friend to come in. The staff was impeccable, always available, courteous, and attentive to our every request. They fulfilled all my wishes and those of our fellow diners. The restaurant was perfectly air-conditioned, with spotless restrooms and plenty of space between tables. The tablecloths were pristine white and the dishes spotlessly clean. No need to worry about leaving; I'll be back many times because Donato and his staff NEVER disappoint. Amazing price!

27/04/2026: In the historic center of Turi, like a rare pearl, lies a refined and very interesting restaurant. The building extends over several floors, with an elevator. The spaces are elegant and welcoming. We celebrated my brother's birthday in the small room with the fireplace, which, of course, was turned off in April, but was still charming, everything enveloped in a pleasant atmosphere: stone walls, background music, and the fragrant air. The staff is attentive, extremely kind, and always present, yet not intrusive. The cuisine is excellent; the dishes, all seafood-based, speak of a Puglia that tells a story of excellent ingredients, experience, and the creativity of those who know how to use them well. We had the opportunity to try the chef's new dessert, a strawberry crepe, which confirmed his flair. Highly recommended.
