19/07/2026: We dined at this unique restaurant, right on the cliffs overlooking the sea! A unique and unforgettable experience that I recommend to everyone! The splendid sea view was accompanied by an exceptional dinner: a refined and delicious menu, dishes beautiful to look at and delicious to the palate! Excellent service: we were pampered from start to finish! And what can I say, meeting Mrs. Tea made the experience even more unforgettable! If we ever return to Gargano, we will definitely be back!

13/07/2026: Great location. The building is quite dated, and the pool was empty. €20 for a small portion of spaghetti with clams is a bit pricey considering the restaurant's decor, but at least it was tasty. The welcome wasn't very warm. It's a shame; they could have made better use of it.

31/05/2026: I give it one star because it's the only way to give it less. Terrible experience: poor hygiene and dangerous structural problems. Avoid. I stayed at this 3/4-star hotel hoping for a comfortable experience, but I was extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, the facility does not meet minimum hygiene and maintenance standards. Here are the main problems I encountered during my stay: • Cleanliness: The sanitary conditions were unacceptable. Bathroom: The shower was broken and unusable. Furniture: The bedside table in the room was damaged. Safety: The most serious problem concerns the electrical system. The only outlet was burned out, and the plastic cover on the wall was broken and extremely dangerous. I left before the scheduled nights and they wanted payment for both one night already paid for by the person who had organized the conference I attended plus the extra night. So I explained the situation to the reception, explaining why I was leaving, also having to find new accommodations, and that if they had insisted I would have called the NAS. I do not recommend this property to anyone, especially considering the hotel's declared category. I am surprised that anyone still chooses it. Close immediately.

31/05/2026: The location is great, right on the beach. The property is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are decades old. Clean but very worn. The rooms lack kettles, coffee, tea, water, or drinking glasses. The air conditioning is noisy but doesn't cool well. Delicious coffee for breakfast.

However, the pool may not accommodate the number of people due to the number of loungers. The wakeboarding area is nice and well-organized. The staff is friendly and helpful throughout.

19/07/2026: A very intimate and elegant venue. It's a shame it was a muggy evening and we had to suffer the heat in the garden. The portions aren't generous, and the price is fair and in keeping with the quality of the food. The pistachio and prawn first course is delicious, and we highly recommend the seafood fantasy, which features various appetizer plates.

He has a wonderful, discreet smile that immediately puts guests at ease, and watching him serve and pour wine is like watching a true expert at work. His attention to detail and gracious manner elevated the entire dining experience. We would also like to thank the lovely lady who looked after our table. Her warmth and kindness made us feel completely at home, and her welcoming nature was just as memorable as the excellent food. Alex Restaurant offers not only exceptional seafood but also hospitality of the highest standard. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience.

30/06/2026: Omg. We were shopping in the area and asked a local a recommendation for lunch. FANTASTIC! We had the pasta all'assassina and orecchiette al fungi. We were early (and only ones in restaurant) so we asked the chef if we could watch him prepare the pasta and, to our surprise, he said yes! Service was excellent, food was fantastic! Highly recommend. Food was 10-15 euro pp plus we had several drinks and dessert. For Americans, felt was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
