Naturally, Drof specializes in seafood delicacies, which you absolutely must try with a nice bottle of bubbly. The service and expertly presented shellfish make Drof a real gem. We'll be back soon! 17/12/2025: Second time with my friend Albino and second dose of excitement! Raw ingredients of rare quality and freshness, treated with love and skill by expert and delicate hands. Five stars are not enough for this food atelier, and not least the staff: sensitive, professional, cheerful; attentive but never intrusive—in short, excellent in every way. Heartfelt thanks to all of you for this extraordinary experience, which we will certainly repeat whenever we have the chance.

27/04/2026: Despite the large group and the crowded restaurant, we were served promptly. Excellent food and excellent value. The space is very large, spacious, and very clean; the staff is sufficient to accommodate a large number of people. My only advice: don't argue with each other during service or in front of customers (even if that can happen when the workload is considerable). Otherwise, I will definitely be back and highly recommend trying their cuisine.

13/06/2026: We went for dinner and had pizza for four. The dough was very light on the palate and easy to digest. A little salty, since the different pizzas made us thirsty, but still very good, and the toppings were also made with excellent ingredients. The tiramisu had a slightly runny cream, so maybe it was just a bad night. Service was good and fast. The place was very noisy. Ample parking.

31/05/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant, famous for its raw fish. Unfortunately, we didn't know that raw fish had to be ordered in advance, so we opted for a classic fish menu. I recommend everyone call ahead if you want to try their raw fish specialties! Our experience was overall good, with its ups and downs: Appetizers: My appetizer was good overall, although I found the tuna pieces to have a distinct flavor that I didn't particularly enjoy. My husband's dishes, however, were excellent. Main courses: The fried fish was truly delicious, light and crispy. Location and service: The place is splendid, the atmosphere is warm and decidedly welcoming. Kudos to the wait staff: the waiters were very attentive to the tables throughout the evening, without being intrusive. Overall, a lovely evening; it's a shame I don't have any photos.

14/06/2026: The food, especially the fresh fish, was excellent. The service was pleasant and professional. The crowds were a bit rowdy for a place that's worth much more than its clientele (me first and foremost). The pizza was average.

03/05/2026: This restaurant is located on Lake Candia, right by the water. Seating is available both inside and outside on a large terrace. There's also a garden area on the lakeshore where aperitifs are served (even for those who won't be dining at the restaurant). Everything is meticulously maintained, and the view of the lake, especially at sunset, is enchanting. Returning to the restaurant: the menu focuses on seafood and isn't extensive, but emphasizes quality and seasonality (the scardovari mussels are exceptional, when available). The catch of the day is always available off-menu (we caught an excellent turbot). But overall, everything I've tried is of excellent quality, workmanship, and presentation. The classic raw seafood (scampi, shrimp) and oysters are also available. I saw a paella pass by and thought it was excellent in appearance and preparation. I'll be back soon to try it. The menu also features meat-based dishes (including pasta dishes and cuts of meat that are definitely worth trying). The wine list is very interesting, including selections from niche local producers (Erbaluce and Passito). The service is very efficient, passionate, and courteous. Prices are absolutely reasonable considering the quality. In short, an excellent restaurant (without a doubt the best in the area for seafood) in a charming location. Highly recommended.

08/06/2026: We went for some good seafood, and ordered five hot and cold appetizers. The classic cold ones were nothing special! The hot ones were battered seaweed and a salmon frittata with cheese. The main course was a slice of Livorno-style swordfish, which was decent. The pizzas are certainly good, but we were a bit disappointed with the fish. The staff was friendly, but the owner was a bit less so.
