14/06/2026: The food was very good, and the location was quite nice. I would have given it 5 stars if I'd stopped there (despite the fact that the awning opened while we were still enjoying our digestif, a gesture that seemed like a clear invitation to vacate the table). However, I was surprised by the price of the limoncello: €6 for a small glass. If it were a fine spirit, aged for years or made with particularly complex techniques, I might understand. In this case, however, we're talking about a simple liqueur made from infusing lemon peels in alcohol, not a distilled spirit. Furthermore, considering that the perceived quality was rather ordinary, the value for money seemed decidedly poor.

At Osteria La Lanterna, we enjoyed a simply extraordinary lunch. Chef Pamela Paredi manages to convey passion, technique, and a profound respect for local tradition in her dishes, interpreted with elegance and personality. Each course tells a story of select ingredients, authentic flavors, and meticulous attention to detail. A special thanks goes to Mr. Massimo, who guided us throughout the lunch with timeless professionalism: discreet, knowledgeable, attentive, and capable of making every guest feel truly welcome. His passion for his work and love for this tradition shine through in every gesture. I particularly appreciated the sourcing of local products, the excellent selection of oils and wines, the quality of the bread served, and the care with which each dish is presented. Everything contributes to creating an authentic and memorable experience. Congratulations to Chef Pamela, Mr. Massimo, and the entire staff for creating a place where you don't just come to eat, but to enjoy an experience of flavor, hospitality, and passion. We will definitely be back. One of the most beautiful gastronomic experiences we've had on Lake Como in recent years.

05/06/2026: The rooms are simply impeccable. Spacious, tastefully decorated with a modern yet welcoming feel, and equipped with every comfort you could need. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. Special mention goes to the soundproofing and the beautiful view from the window. The staff are the real asset of the property. Professional and always smiling, they are always available to offer advice on local attractions and attentive to our every need. The icing on the cake is the restaurant: delicious dishes, attention to detail, and prompt, impeccable table service. The location is strategic and extremely convenient. The hotel is located in a central yet quiet area, ideal for walking around and easily reaching the main points of interest. Easy to reach and perfect as a base.

14/06/2026: We stayed in Lomazzo as a stopover on our trip to Corsica and ate at Il Fiordo. Lovely hostesses and a delicious meal at a table outside. There were a lot of Italians there and the outdoor area was full. The food was delicious. We had Pizza Monte Napoléon and Pizza Parmesan. And the tiramisu was delectable. We really enjoyed ourselves for a very reasonable price.

14/05/2026: Overall, a nice place. The owner at the entrance is friendly. Service is fast, with the waiter taking orders while he's too focused on his own. He orders and goes... what a shame... like a number that consumes and goes... The quality isn't great, nor is it praiseworthy... overall, it's sufficient, but the quality of the fish didn't convince me. Is it soft fried? Soft batter? Like it was reheated and not made fresh... what a shame.

15/05/2026: Excellent. Excellent food (the only comment I have is about the temperature of some appetizers. The cold cancels out the flavors...). I had to deal with traffic problems to get to the restaurant and arrived after the lunch cutoff time. I advised them of the delay and was reassured and welcomed with understanding. Simply perfect service; highly professional staff. Splendid atmosphere. More than fair value for money (obviously excluding wine: if you want to drink a certain way, you know you'll spend more on wine than on food). I will return and highly recommend.

13/05/2026: I simply did not like the food and I genuinely don’t understand how they have mechilan star. This restaurant makes me lose trust in mechilan stars. I ordered the tasting menu and I paid and left mid of it as both me and my husband felt the food did not taste good and we did not like any of the 4 dishes we’ve received

Ambiance & View The restaurant's atmosphere is elegant and sophisticated, yet wonderfully tranquil. The magnificent view completes the experience, making dinner an unforgettable event. A true feast for all the senses! Service The service is absolutely top-notch. The entire team is extremely attentive and professional. What truly stands out is the precise and flexible way in which individual requests are accommodated – as a guest, you feel completely valued and exceptionally well cared for. Conclusion & Tip Due to the high quality and popularity of the restaurant, advance reservations are absolutely essential.
