08/10/2025: Few things seem to be prepared à la minute. Rather, everything is pre-cooked and the garnishes/decorations on the plate are not even fresh (lemon wedge cut the day before, avocado degraded by oxygen because it was also cut too long in advance, etc.). On the other hand, the price is really very reasonable compared to the quality, which could be better.

16/09/2025: High quality of food and service. Small family restaurant with high potential and quality of wine and Prosecco. Also the lemon sorbet with vodka was gorgeous. If you are in the neighborhood you must go for the dinner there. Recommend.

11/10/2025: The food was absolutely fine, but as usual, no bread with olive oil was served beforehand. The service was completely unfriendly; you felt like you were supposed to leave immediately, which was also evident in the reactions of other guests. We weren't even thanked for our generous tip. We always go to the pizzeria when we visit Maccagno, but the service and friendliness have never been this bad. We're guests, whether it's peak or off-season, so you can still behave differently. What a shame 🤷‍♂️

12/10/2025: A wonderful place, the fish is spectacular. We had a pasta dish with three orgasms (and I assure you, the name is spot on). And a lovely baked fish dish that was truly delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

07/10/2025: I came here hoping to eat Tuscan food. The moment I walked in, the staff spoke to me in Japanese, and they also had a Japanese menu, which made it easy to understand. (It seems like there were a lot of Japanese tourists among the customers.) It was also fun when the staff spoke to me in Japanese, asking questions like "Is it delicious?", "The best?" (looking at my plate after I'd finished it), and "Amazing!" The huge plate of steak and potatoes (with ribs) was very filling. The tiramisu for dessert was also delicious, making this my tentative #1 meal in Italy!

28/08/2025: A charming and elegant restaurant located in an ancient Charterhouse. Refined cuisine and top-notch service, at a very fair price. We ate very well and left satisfied. Dog-friendly.

13/09/2025: The place is very beautiful and welcoming, with tables in a small central square and very close to the lakefront. The service was impeccable and fast. I recommend the fried gnocco with Parma ham and a parmesan cream. The pizzas were delicious and the ingredients were top-quality. I recommend it and will definitely be back. September 2025 We returned with friends and they also loved the pizzas. This time we had the Grano Arso dough and I must admit it's light, digestible, and delicious. The chocolate cake is a must-try.

06/10/2025: My favorite Roman restaurant in Milan! Delicious amatriciana, I recommend it with the pinsa! Really fair prices, and the quality of the product is evident. Super friendly and helpful guys. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a Roman restaurant in Milan (without having to be ripped off by ridiculous prices).

30/09/2025: My hotel is located next to this place and I accidentally went in. I want to say that the food is very colorful and also very tasty. The service is also worth noting that the waiters are very attentive and will tell you and help you with everything. The variety of food is just what you want.

02/10/2025: I stopped by on my way back from Korea after seeing Chef Fabrizio's content. The city was truly beautiful, and the restaurant was exceptionally good. The food was delicious, and thanks to the wine recommendation, using Coravin, and the thoughtful storytelling during the tasting, I had a new experience with the Riesling made in Como. I highly recommend the dessert. It was a fantastic way to start my first meal in Italy. Thank you. 🙂

09/07/2025: We got it all, wine, food, good conversation... When you come to a Trattoria, that's what you get, you become a good friend and if you become a regular, get ready to become family. Italia is all about food and family and over Montina you have the wife serving, the husband cooking and their daughter learning with her grandma. Now let's talk about the food. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce perfectly made. The fries were crunchy and dry, not soggy and full of oil. The cotolleta was crunchy and not a hint of oil in it, amazing. As a Brazilian I would throw some lemon juice on it because this is how we like it, but I can get used to the Milan way paired with a good red wine. The food is well served and if you eat small portions, I'd suggest sharing a dish. My kids devoured their pasta but I ate 3/4 of my cotolleta. Wow wow wow. Thank you for the great food and time with you guys.
