06/05/2025: A real gem in a fantastic alley! We absolutely loved this pizzeria. On our first visit we sat outside in the beautiful alley and enjoyed a sensationally delicious pizza. It was so good that we came a second time during our vacation - this time we sat inside under the atmospheric vault, also a great experience. The icing on the cake: When we got caught in the rain as we were leaving, the restaurant even lent us two umbrellas. You rarely experience so much warmth. We'll definitely be back!

10/05/2025: We had lunch here via Smart box which included: starter, first course, second course and a bottle of wine for two people. Plus they offered us a delicious entree. It was a wonderful discovery... every single dish was prepared and tasty. Very kind, clean place, in the greenery with convenient parking. We will definitely be back!

07/05/2025: I was a guest of friends in this center of gravity of taste... An unusual, indeed extraordinary, experience. Dishes that are in some ways unrepeatable, evidently conceived through pure talented intuition. Tano is practically self-taught. I'll just give you a few key words to get you curious. Apple water gel, chicken egg roe, extra virgin olive oil butter, tuna powder, caper sauce... I was a guest, but looking at the menu it is clear that the Michelin star that accompanied Tano for so many years has remained in the dishes and in the prices. In any case, go if you can. Impossible to regret.

Everything contributes to creating a magical atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy the experience. The menu is excellent with dishes made with very fresh and high-quality ingredients. The desserts are unforgettable. Another note of merit goes to the staff, always attentive and helpful.

22/05/2025: We stayed at Villa Baroni for three nights in early May for our wedding, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The location by Lake Varese is sublime — with beautiful views and a well-kept, presentable hotel both inside and out. We had both breakfast and dinner during our stay. The food was of very good quality with well-prepared dishes, though dinner prices felt slightly high considering the setting. Still, it was convenient and enjoyable, especially when with family or for a special event. We were given three rooms for our families. As bride and groom, we stayed in the largest room (EUR 200/night), which was spacious, vintage in style, and had two large windows. We appreciated the in-room tea and coffee maker. The smaller rooms with direct lake views were charming and suitable for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately, certain behaviours affected our stay. A lady (possibly the owner?) let her dog roam freely throughout the hotel and restaurant — at one point even jumping on a dining table. Her friends also brought dogs to dinner, which barked frequently. This was inappropriate and unhygienic for guests, especially since booking platforms (Booking.com, Trivago, BringFido) state that pets aren’t allowed. The inconsistency in policy was disappointing. Rooms are on the first floor, accessible via a staircase next to reception. There’s a large fridge at the bottom for water bottles, but no door separates the floors. As a result, we could clearly hear guests leaving, bottles being handled, and bins being used between 11 p.m. and midnight. Most disruptive was the dog barking loudly for 15+ minutes around midnight, waking my toddler. Instead of moving the dog to a quiet room, the lady shouted at it — making things worse. I love dogs, but there are limits in shared spaces. The Wi-Fi was another issue — weak and unreliable in the rooms, only stable on the ground floor. A more consistent connection would be expected at this level. Our room, while not bad, could use an update. The red-brown carpet is dated and would be better replaced with wood flooring. There was visible mould between the wardrobe and window wall — clearly cleaned periodically, but it needs deeper treatment, which is understandable in lake settings. Some furnishings felt mismatched or flimsy: a beige leather sofa clashed with the vintage decor, a round table with a heavy oriental lamp was unstable, the desk chair was wobbly, the headboard outdated, and the shower door didn’t close properly. The wall-mounted hairdryer was very noisy, and the small TV high on the wall looked out of scale. Several extension cords and loose sockets gave a cluttered and unsafe impression. On a positive note, Alina at reception was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the cleaning lady was thoughtful and made sure our room was ready for the bridal party. In summary, Villa Baroni has great potential, thanks to its stunning location and kind staff. However, pet management, noise control, Wi-Fi, and room maintenance need improvement to match the villa’s charm.

14/05/2025: We wanted a different place and I can say we found it. We had a great time, very attentive service, professional and I can say fast but there were only 5 tables. Be careful about allergies (in fact it was the first time we were asked) and diversity (come, etc). We ate very well, high quality cuisine, excellent raw materials and a beautiful view of the lake. We had a great time. Naturally everything proportionate to the price

Service was quick and our waiter was friendly and entertaining, though his enthusiasm can tell a little too much after a while. The atmosphere is rustic and pleasant, but be aware that some guests can be a little loud, which might affect the overall vibe. Prices are on the higher side for what you get, but the quality of the seafood makes it worthwhile if you’re looking to treat yourself. Overall a solid recommendation for fish lovers!

01/05/2025: Together with my family I was immediately welcomed with great cordiality by all the staff present at the entrance and it is already a nice business card! Flawless service, with a good and friendly Sicilian-Brazilian waitress and with a silent and distinguished "grandfather" (owner?) who passed with great discretion between the tables with impeccable efficiency and timing bordering on perfection, never missing a beat in removing the used plates and replacing the bread: a real added value. Moving on to the menu, we particularly liked the spaghetti with clams, bottarga and squid, but also the fregola with seafood. Previously very fresh and delicate marinated anchovies and good octopus, both those accompanied by the usual potatoes and those sautéed with artichokes. The seafood grill was also up to par, in which prawn and tuna already gave complete meaning to the choice made. The bill is not light but not very high if we consider the location in front of Milan's Navigli. Even at the exit there was no shortage of greetings and smiles. 5 stars with few doubts and a certain goodbye!

27/04/2025: During our weekend in Lecco, we wanted to taste some traditional dishes that could help us learn more about this beautiful area. We found this restaurant, which sells and prepares lake fish caught by them. I hadn't had the opportunity to eat lake fish before that moment and I must say that this place was a great way to discover it! The fish was very fresh, the frying light and tasty. The staff is very kind and attentive. However, I advise you to book a few days in advance to be sure of being able to find a place, it's worth it!

19/03/2025: I recently visited this restaurant and was very satisfied with the experience! The food was delicious, with authentic Italian dishes that satisfied my palate. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the flavors were well balanced. The service was excellent: the staff were friendly, attentive and always available to advise on dishes. The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, ideal for a dinner with friends or for a romantic evening. Furthermore, the prices are very reasonable, considering the quality of the food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable Italian dining experience. I will definitely be back!

12/03/2025: It was a recommendation... ... which I would also like to pass on. The restaurant is close to Lambrate train station and is also easily accessible by public transport. There is a weekly changing daily menu and à la carte. The menu is also available in English. The restaurant is known for its fish dishes, which are highly recommended. The selection of wines is very good and the recommendation for wine pairings was to the point.
