31/10/2025: Good food. The pizza isn't bad either. I go almost every day during my lunch break and I really enjoy it, both for the staff (always very kind and competent, with a smile on their faces) and for the delicious and varied food. They make me feel at home, which is just what you need when you're away from work. Kudos to the entire staff!

06/10/2025: Lunch for four was excellent, but they should be a little clearer on the menu. The seafood appetizer we chose read: "Seafood appetizer €23 for a minimum of two people." We asked the waitress for two appetizers, which four of us would share. We expected €46 on the bill, not €92. It's true that if you reread the menu more carefully, it says €23 per person, but it's only for two people. However, when we ordered two appetizers and told the waitress we'd share it between four, she probably realized we'd misinterpreted the menu, but she ignored it. What a shame.

05/01/2026: I was there on December 22nd, terrible place, small, unventilated room, the windows were sealed, there was no air, we were one above the other..... price 50 euros for a simple lunch, nothing special..... truly squalid place to avoid.

13/01/2026: Nice place, excellent value. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I had excellent pizza, but since I haven't tried their food, I can't rate it. The pizza is excellent, and the service is fast and accurate. I'll definitely be back! 🙂👍🏼

12/01/2026: Historic place. The pizza is delicious, and the Sicilian cannoli are made fresh. The place isn't decorated in the latest fashion, but that doesn't matter if the food is good. The Mezza Capa pizza is a must-try!

22/06/2025: Sia dall’esterno che dall’interno le aspettative non erano alte. Tantissima gente per cui si poteva presumere si mangiasse bene Assaggiato antipasti, combinazioni strane: provola affumicata con tagliata di tonno crudo - terrina con gamberetti abbinata ad un gelato al limone talmente ghiacciato che non sono riuscito a mangiarlo - moscardini fritti , e poi un piatto di pesce crudo servito con una strana composizione di verdura e frutta (due pezzi a testa) . Mi spiace dirlo ma il pesce crudo va servito sul ghiaccio e pulito meglio. In totale per tre persone abbiamo preso 5 antipasti e le cruditè. Acqua e due birre. Prezzo da ristorante stellato Capisco che il pesce costa ma a quel punto me lo devi servire in un contesto diverso e con proposte non da trattoria, o porzioni più abbondanti . Personale però molto gentile

The extremely well-kept restaurant always feels like a trip back in time, with a very extensive and quality wine list. Going to this restaurant always gives me the certainty of eating well and feeling pampered by the quality!!!

26/08/2025: Rigoletto remains one of our favorite places. Simple, well-prepared dishes, and the quality of the food is truly excellent. Always good. Highly recommended.

25/01/2026: I made a reservation for four people by phone, but once we got to the restaurant, no one knew about it. The receptionist didn't even know the restaurant's phone number, so just in case I'd made the wrong reservation, I called the number I had used for the reservation... the number was correct. We quickly had to wait for a table, and they already lost points. We ate four pizzas that weren't good at all, and...paying for four pizzas, three beers, one spritz, two coffees, and two liqueurs, was €91. A bit too much. In any case, their approach may be fine for foreign tourists... I'd like to point out that everyone may or may not like whatever they eat; it depends on their personal tastes... it's a shame that I'm a chef first and foremost, and I've also worked as a pizza chef, and since I ate and ordered four pizzas, I think they could have been made better. Not to mention, the pizza dough needs fixing... I'm 57 years old and I've been in the business for a long time... I've also managed a restaurant, I know there will always be someone who won't be happy, but there's always room for improvement.

26/12/2025: In a perfect location. The atmosphere, food , service and value cannot be beaten. The decor resembles Hollywoods idea of an Italian restaurants.. but this is real.! I had seared tuna, my partner had sea bass which was massive! Excellent! We are returning before we go home. Highly recommended. PS just visited again.. Irish fillet steak to die for👍and Desserts.. wow..!

12/12/2025: I never discuss prices, but rather quality based on prices. Pizza was barely adequate. Tiramisu was good, but the portion was tiny.

08/12/2025: We met there for dinner, ordered a fish-based first course, a mixed fried pasta, and a pizza. The first course was Mediterranean paccheri, excellent. The fried fish was plentiful. The pizza, the Sicilian one with and without mozzarella, was enjoyed by everyone, light and tasty. An experience to repeat. The staff was very kind. And kudos to the chefs, Nicola and Tony. I absolutely forgot to try the Belgian pudding. Divine.

10/11/2025: A splendid restaurant overlooking Lake Lugano, serving Chinese, Japanese, and Italian cuisine. Buffet appetizers and the option of fresh fish and meat cooked to order.

24/11/2025: I went to Mimmo's for a Saturday night dinner and wanted to leave an honest but constructive review, because the pizzeria definitely has potential. Important premise: the timing probably didn't help. The place was really packed, with lots of people waiting outside, several birthday parties, and karaoke. The atmosphere was lively, but inevitably very loud and chaotic. The menu is extensive: so many options, congratulations on the variety. I contradict myself by saying that this can also be confusing; we personally had a really hard time deciding which pizza to order, so much so that we opted for the classic ones, just to avoid wasting too much time. 😅 It's clear that it's a beloved and very popular pizzeria. Aspects for improvement: - Long wait The pizzas arrived quite late, probably due to the huge turnout. I understand it's a Saturday night, but the wait was really long. - Too much noise Between karaoke, birthdays, and large tables, the noise level was very high and made it difficult to talk without shouting to people within a centimeter of each other. - Service was sometimes unwelcoming One of the waitresses who looked after us always seemed in a hurry and barely smiled. I understand the stress of Saturdays, but a little courtesy really makes a difference. - Burnt pizza My pizza was well cooked... perhaps too much. The crust and part of the bottom were burned, and this ruined the flavor a bit. I'll probably return on a quieter day to give it a second chance. The reviews are good and the place is very busy, so I'm sure the experience would be different in a less chaotic environment. My observations are intended as constructive feedback to further improve a place that many appreciate.
