05/10/2025: We had dinner at Storico, and it was a truly positive experience. We enjoyed excellent dishes, prepared with top-quality ingredients and raw materials. The appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts were delicious and original, a sensory journey for the palate. All this was complemented by excellent and prompt service, coordinated by the helpful and welcoming owners and the kind and attentive waitresses. This restaurant is definitely worth a try.

08/08/2025: overpriced! especially the raw seafood platter. service was nothing close to GOOD, we even had to do our own wine and drinks service. avoid this place as there are many nice restaurants nearby

25/08/2025: The owner is a great, friendly, and professional person. The portions and food are excellent. The pizzas are very good and, above all, very large. The staff is competent and professional. The atmosphere is family-friendly, a great place. I highly recommend it.

14/08/2025: The restaurant has changed location, but unfortunately so has the quality of the food. The service is excellent as always. The amatriciana I ordered didn't have pancetta, and the gratinated scampi didn't smell good. I tasted it to confirm, and it wasn't fresh.

14/09/2025: It's located near the center of Saronno, with convenient parking right in front. The restaurant's outdoor terrace is quaint and very romantic. The dishes are all seafood, delicious, and beautifully presented. Interesting menu options are available. Friendly staff. Perfect for celebrating a special occasion.

02/10/2025: While it's certainly a beautiful location in the summer, it seems rather gloomy on a rainy day in the cool interior of the tent. The lighting adds to the charm (candles or at least more subdued lighting would have been much nicer). The menu is rather small. Unfortunately, the dishes were all overly salty... The chef must have been full of love... The service was quick but rather cool... The price/performance ratio was still okay, as it was priced fairly reasonably.

28/08/2025: A quick trip to Salo and a quick lunch. Ristorante Canottieri was on the way. It was busy with lots of locals (always good). The welcome was okay, the waitresses, all young ladies, seemed a bit cold (that's my job, after all). The menu was small but good. We chose two pasta dishes. The food came quickly and the taste was simply excellent. We also ordered semifredo and cheesecake for dessert, which we didn't really like. I don't think the value for money for dessert in Italy is good in general. A slice of cake is 6-8 euros. All in all, water, half a glass of wine, pasta, and dessert cost 60 euros, which is normal these days.

31/08/2025: I happened upon this place by chance last Sunday before visiting the Castello dell'Innominato with three friends. It was a great experience! The space was super spacious. The service was attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The vegetarian appetizer and tagliatelle with salmon were a huge hit, as were the pizzas and artichokes with curry and shrimp, which my friends enjoyed. If I were to ever be in the area again, I'd definitely return, perhaps even to try the Egyptian section of the menu (which requires a minimum reservation for dinner, if I remember correctly).

27/09/2025: How come I find a steak made to perfection in a seafood restaurant? Exceptional peppered fillet, exceptional rib eye, and even the sea bass tagliata with artichokes or zucchini is exquisite! Fast service and generous portions! If it weren't for Versilia, Bollate would be a disaster! A guarantee!

09/08/2025: The hotel is closed. The restaurant is open and has excellent, fresh food. Courtesy and refined. Pleasant and clean location. We will definitely return. Prices are more than affordable.

25/08/2025: Restaurant very close to the Vittoriale. The place looks like it's stuck in the 80s and 90s, and for me, that's a huge compliment. 😊 Good food, I recommend the fish (bigoli with fish ragù is very delicious). Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Recommended!

28/08/2025: 🍷 Stylish restaurant with a fantastic location – with some minor flaws We've been visiting the Marzzardit restaurant right on the shores of Lake Maggiore for many years – and the location remains exceptional. The terrace offers a magnificent view of the lake, and the ambiance is stylish and inviting. What's particularly nice is that many guests even arrive by boat from Ascona or Locarno, which gives the place a special atmosphere. The wine list is impressive and leaves nothing to be desired – even high-quality wines from Tuscany are not uncommon here. Our red wine for €80 was excellent and absolutely reasonable in price. The freshly baked bread also deserves praise – aromatic and prepared with love. The service was, as usual, friendly and attentive. However, those who arrive without a reservation should expect a wait or cancellations – tables are in high demand, which speaks volumes about the quality of the establishment. The evening was a mixed bag from a culinary perspective: While the homemade meatballs and creamy panacotta were very convincing, the pasta with truffle and vongole unfortunately didn't hold up. For almost €30, it was noticeably lacking in flavor – a shame, because that shouldn't happen at this level. 💬 Conclusion: A stylish place with plenty of charm, excellent wine, and a beautiful view. Minor weaknesses in the kitchen marred the overall impression this time, but we'd be happy to return – hoping for more consistency with the main courses.

13/08/2025: We were greeted by the classic 80s trattoria smell, which raised high expectations. The place is undoubtedly "vintage," characterless and unremarkable. Perhaps some things are even starting to look old. The menu is bland and impersonal, as is the service, which could use a complete overhaul. The problem is that all this isn't even the worst part... because sooner or later the meal arrives. A tragedy. Nothing works. From the greasy paper menu to the written and photographed one, goosebumps. We ordered from the starters, main courses, and unfortunately even the "pizza," or at least that's what we call it... an insult to the restaurant industry. To be honest, I have to say that the breadsticks were good quality, and so was the bread (they probably make it themselves), and even the fries were delicious and crispy. I think the prices are also a problem; with such a high price, you expect quality, or at least decency. Everything is overpriced. Courteous and polite staff. The cloth napkins were much appreciated; there are too few of them... Hugs.

Flat overpriced wine If you gonna charge that much, open on time. Service guys were friendly and the bad food was on time, I give them that. Tiramisu however was good that's the only thing I enjoyed. Overall not worth the hype nor the price

17/08/2025: I went this evening, but unfortunately, it wasn't the same restaurant as usual. The waiters were incompetent and, I'd say, not very polite. The service was terrible, the food was average. But what made me feel most sorry was the son at the cash register arguing with his father in front of us. I wouldn't recommend it.
