09/08/2025: We had a great time! We had dinner outside the restaurant! Very nice place! Clean and tidy! Very good and well-cooked products! Compliments to the kitchen! Everything was perfect! From the first courses to the second courses, finishing with dessert and coffee! The "Seafood Dishes" were very good! Squid rings! Mixed fried fish and mussels! Very good! Excellent and friendly staff! Polite and very helpful! Convenient and free outdoor parking next to the restaurant! We will certainly be back! 5 stars! ... and all well deserved! 👍

20/07/2025: Sono cliente da anni dopo il cambio di gestione il locale era andato un po' giù ora grazie al proprietario che ha corretto il tiro è tornato ai fasti di un tempo pesce fresco ottime porzioni prezzi che ti possono fare tornare più volte in un mese simpatia e tanta gentilezza.ti senti in famiglia.molto bravi 👍👍👍

15/07/2025: I'm truly shocked and disappointed. I was riding my bike home from work and, as I was passing the restaurant, a group of people (some guys and a girl) outside started yelling at me rudely and aggressively, for no reason at all. It was completely disrespectful and unacceptable behavior, which made me feel uncomfortable, shocked, and scared. I truly hope management takes serious action, because no one should be treated this way just for walking by. (15/7/2025 at 11:55 PM)

10/08/2025: My wife and I had lunch today, Sunday, at this lovely restaurant, arriving from Canton Ticino, where we live. It's a quiet place, with a cool, shaded terrace. Believe me, we didn't eat well, but... it was excellent! The food was excellent: delicious fresh porcini mushrooms, fresh and perfectly cooked fish, a wide selection of Sicilian dishes, each one better than the last... I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, enjoyable lunch or dinner. The price was fair. The owners were very friendly. Thank you, it was a truly wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

30/07/2025: Piedigrotta Restaurant is always a guarantee. I've been coming here for over 15 years and have never been disappointed, nor have the other diners. Fresh fish, simple dishes cooked with extreme flavor and care, super fair prices, and a welcoming, family atmosphere. There's no need for a menu; let Mario recommend it and you won't regret it!

02/08/2025: This is a historic restaurant, and we came here for the first time. When the first one arrived, I was very pleased, but after I found the casing still in the langoustine, it changed my mind about this place. And the portion-to-price ratio seems a bit steep.

30/07/2025: A truly paltry (just a few pieces) and tasteless mixed fry, water, a meager glass of flat white wine, an unpretentious and flavorless tiramisu, and a coffee: €50 seems way too much for lunch. Elegant restaurant, truly courteous staff. Never again. I hate writing negative reviews and almost never do, but I truly felt cheated.

13/08/2025: We had the Antonio Pappalardo tasting menu, which, from what I understand, also includes a selection of pizzas (we left the choice to the restaurant). We also paired it with three glasses of wine. The fried pizza with stracciatella, figs, and culaccia is highly recommended. Impeccable service, we'll definitely be back ✨ Reservations are highly recommended.

12/08/2025: Couple's dinner. I've been here several times and have always had a great experience, thanks in part to the delicious gluten-free pizza. Last time, however, in addition to the long wait, they delivered the wrong pizza, which was promptly remade but delivered, in my opinion, a bit cold and, from memory, without a single side. Definitely a one-off evening; I'll definitely be back for the quality of the ingredients and the delicious pizza. The only downside is the loud background noise outside.

10/08/2025: The food was not as expected and the staff were not friendly with tourists. I ordered seabass with spinach and asked to change it to vegetables. The waiter said he would change it, but on the bill he added the cost of the vegetables. When we complained, he said he would remove it, which made us believe he deducted the full amount. In reality, he only removed €2.55 instead of the full €6. The bill should have been €102.50 instead of €105.95. What bothered me most is that he made us believe the full amount was removed when it wasn’t, which is not professional and should never involve misleading customers. I do not recommend this place for either food or service. Also, I am not sure if the €10.50 service charge for 3 people is a legal addition or not.

06/06/2025: I went to this restaurant for a dinner with friends and, from a culinary point of view, there was nothing to say: very fresh fish, well-prepared and really tasty dishes. The pizza was also surprisingly good, with a light and well-cooked dough. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the absolutely inadequate service: the staff was rude and too intrusive, with inappropriate attitudes and unwanted familiarity, bordering on embarrassing. In a context like this, you expect professionalism and attention to the customer, not inappropriate jokes or hasty tones. A real shame, because the cuisine deserves another rating. I hope that the management can intervene on the staff, because with a service up to par, it would truly be a 5-star restaurant

24/07/2025: Beautiful interior of old stone work. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the beef tartare that was a good portion but not a lot of flavor. My wife ordered the lasagna that was on the special…it tasted like it looked- dry. I ordered a special pasta with rabbit. The pasta was cooked to perfection but the rabbit and sauce lacked flavor to that of a traditional Italian rabbit dish that I grew up eating as child from the Island of Ischia. My girls split an order of ravioli filled with eggplant and they both finished their portion. The star of the night in appearance and flavor was the apricot cheese cake- the building and structure was beautiful but the food was a let down.

24/07/2025: We came in when the restaurant was full and had to take a table close to the toilet. 2 min later 2 tables came free and we asked to switch tables. The waiter just said 'no'. My advice, don't go there !
