Osteria del Buongustaio In Arconate

I've known this restaurant for a few years, and even though I've been away for quite a while, the quality of the food never disappoints. Five stars... but I'm sorry to say the current staff isn't adequately trained... and it's anxiety-inducing! As soon as we were seated, the waitress didn't even have time to open the menu... and then came back three times before realizing we were probably just choosing what to eat... during a quiet Sunday lunch! The absurd thing is that this attitude annoyed her, not us, and after ordering, a couple of requests got no response or a "I'll have to see"! We asked for another pack of breadsticks, one, and were told, "I'm asking if there are any left."... there weren't any left! Terrible service... it's a shame because we had presented it well to our guests, but no one will return or even speak highly of it... despite the excellent food. Again, kudos to the kitchen.

I travel a lot for work and eat in different places, but I often find mediocre food here. I found excellent food, service, hospitality, and price. Thank you.
