27/10/2025: Very disappointed with this restaurant, as I'd seen good reviews and tempting photos. However, the pasta I ordered was really not great, and the cheese platter was very disappointing. We were seated upstairs, a bit forgotten. However, the servers were friendly and cheerful.

27/10/2025: Disappointed by this restaurant. I chose it based on the good reviews, but compared to everything I've tried in Varenna, I felt like I was in a tourist trap. The cheese tasting (€18) was really not up to scratch: limited portions, little honey or jam, and stale bread to accompany it all. The wine was decent, and fortunately, the friendly service helped raise the bill a bit.

03/11/2025: There were 4 of us at dinner, 3 of which were different, and they arrived at the table 10 minutes after we ordered. When we asked if they were reheated and ready, we were told there were 10 chefs in the kitchen, too bad the dishes got cold after a short while!!! The icing on the cake was that we ordered coffees right afterward, and the staff kindly asked if we could leave the table in the next 10 minutes!!!!

26/11/2025: We came with 8 friends to have dinner here. We ate à la carte. We came in with an appetite and left feeling hungry. For 8 people, the bread consisted of: 5 strips of focaccia, 1cm thick, 3cm wide, 10cm long, and 5 slices of French bread cut with a slicer, otherwise it risks being too big and the customer could choke! On the menu, 5 friends of ours ordered grilled sausage, but when they brought it, it was a small sausage cut in half and opened, to make it appear bigger! I recommend this restaurant to those on a diet. Here, not only will you not gain weight, but you will definitely lose weight and become beautifully slim!

07/11/2025: Nine of us came for a business lunch for €8 excluding drinks. We went in with an appetite and left feeling very hungry. They brought seafood pasta, but the fisherman hadn't caught any seafood! And the pasta, weighing 40 grams, was a lot! The fish soup for the second course contained 3 empty scampi and 5 clams that whoever caught them was probably dead by now, but they were still fresh: they were from this century! For bread, they bring a basket for every four people with five slices of bread, 1cm thick, 5cm in diameter, and four strips with a 2cm wide, 10cm long front. I have some advice for the owner: increase the price but let people eat! Pasta at the superior costs €1 per kilo and frozen fish costs much less than fresh fish in Rho. Other restaurants offer a business lunch that costs 12 euros, but there's a generous first course, a generous second course, a side dish or a bottle of water or half a litre of wine, or a can of soft drink. Here, in my opinion, this type of lunch is appreciated by those on a diet, and so there's no danger of putting on weight!

11/11/2025: We chose Bergamina in 2024 to celebrate our daughter's First Communion. We were so thrilled and grateful for the professionalism and kindness of everyone (from Massimo to Grazia, Anna, the waitresses...) that we didn't hesitate to choose Bergamina again for her Confirmation. The setting was perfect and impeccable, meticulously planned, the cuisine was refined, and everything was so welcoming. We would make the same choice a thousand times over! 29/10/2025: The restaurant recently changed management, also renovating the space, which was clearly showing its age. I recommend booking because the place is always busy. AMBIENCE: The interior is modern, with elegant tables and chairs. The dark green color scheme is a nice choice. I'm not sure why the bathroom hasn't been renovated; it's left dated and plain. SERVICE: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. If I understand correctly, management of the restaurant has been transferred to "Schiaccianoci," another restaurant on Via XX Settembre. Therefore, the staff is very knowledgeable about wines, so I expected a more extensive and well-stocked list, and the products to be of the highest quality. FOOD: The pizzas I saw were very inviting, and my friend, who ate pizza under the new management, thought it was very good. That evening, I tried Cantabrian anchovies with salted butter, which were very good, spaghetti with clams, and rice with butter and shrimp. I didn't particularly enjoy the rice, despite the quality of the product. Both I and my partner found it a bit disjointed and flavorless, except when eaten with the shrimp. Some might say the shrimp was supposed to add flavor to the dish, but without the rice, it tasted like boiled rice, with no hint of butter. My friend only had dessert. It was a cream and pistachio tart. VALUE FOR MONEY: Good and in line with current prices at restaurants in this category.

26/10/2025: We were a large group. The staff wasn't willing to arrange tables. That was a downside. Otherwise, it's a perfect place for pizza. A wide selection, tasty, and relatively inexpensive. The decor is elegant. The grilled fruit is excellent. We've been here twice for dinner.

08/09/2025: Chosen at random because it was nearby for a trade fair. Excellent choice because the pizzas, desserts, and service were fantastic. The food was delicious, and the lady (whose name I unfortunately don't know) was disarmingly kind. We'll be back every week!

05/09/2025: We ended up there by chance, we ate pizza and chips, rigorously peeled and fried on the spot. Excellent pizza, homemade desserts, super kind husband and wife, we will be back to try the first and second courses. Highly recommended. Well done.
