12/10/2025: The restaurant is stuck in the 80s, in every sense, even the service which remains familiar and confidential, a rare thing nowadays, the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and porcini mushrooms and sausage are phenomenal (strictly handmade pasta) and a mix of fish including a scallop gratin with porcini mushrooms which is top! Congratulations, I recommend it.

06/12/2025: A fairly ordinary place... nothing special... just like many others. We ordered a pizza, well-topped, but the crust was too thin and dry. Checking the bill, which seemed a bit pricey, we realized that a small beer 🍺 cost €4.50... and the pizzas were around €10... I'll leave your thoughts... we don't think we'll be back for another lunch.

27/10/2025: Disappointed by this restaurant. I chose it based on the good reviews, but compared to everything I've tried in Varenna, I felt like I was in a tourist trap. The cheese tasting (€18) was really not up to scratch: limited portions, little honey or jam, and stale bread to accompany it all. The wine was decent, and fortunately, the friendly service helped raise the bill a bit.

27/10/2025: Very disappointed with this restaurant, as I'd seen good reviews and tempting photos. However, the pasta I ordered was really not great, and the cheese platter was very disappointing. We were seated upstairs, a bit forgotten. However, the servers were friendly and cheerful.

26/11/2025: We came with 8 friends to have dinner here. We ate à la carte. We came in with an appetite and left feeling hungry. For 8 people, the bread consisted of: 5 strips of focaccia, 1cm thick, 3cm wide, 10cm long, and 5 slices of French bread cut with a slicer, otherwise it risks being too big and the customer could choke! On the menu, 5 friends of ours ordered grilled sausage, but when they brought it, it was a small sausage cut in half and opened, to make it appear bigger! I recommend this restaurant to those on a diet. Here, not only will you not gain weight, but you will definitely lose weight and become beautifully slim!

07/11/2025: Nine of us came for a business lunch for €8 excluding drinks. We went in with an appetite and left feeling very hungry. They brought seafood pasta, but the fisherman hadn't caught any seafood! And the pasta, weighing 40 grams, was a lot! The fish soup for the second course contained 3 empty scampi and 5 clams that whoever caught them was probably dead by now, but they were still fresh: they were from this century! For bread, they bring a basket for every four people with five slices of bread, 1cm thick, 5cm in diameter, and four strips with a 2cm wide, 10cm long front. I have some advice for the owner: increase the price but let people eat! Pasta at the superior costs €1 per kilo and frozen fish costs much less than fresh fish in Rho. Other restaurants offer a business lunch that costs 12 euros, but there's a generous first course, a generous second course, a side dish or a bottle of water or half a litre of wine, or a can of soft drink. Here, in my opinion, this type of lunch is appreciated by those on a diet, and so there's no danger of putting on weight!

22/10/2025: When we visit beautiful Salò, we usually stop at this lakeside restaurant, frequented mostly by locals and open to non-members. The menu features lake fish and meat, as well as daily specials. The dishes are quite generous but a little bland, and the fish is well-cooked, presented, and crisp. The homemade desserts are also delicious. The location is simple but pleasant, right on the promenade and the pier. Service is quick and informal. Good value. Reservations or early arrival are recommended.

02/12/2025: Beautiful location. Simple decor. Good food. Few raw ingredients. Jasmine tea sent back because it wasn't jasmine, but it was found on the bill.

13/12/2025: The pizza was really good, both the dough and the ingredients used. I wouldn't recommend the dessert, however, as it's not particularly good for the price (€8, I think). It's a shame the tables are a bit small.

07/12/2025: An experience. About a 15-minute drive from the city, we booked via the app. The restaurant is on the street, so there's no private parking, but it wasn't too difficult to find one nearby. The restaurant opens at 7:00 PM, not before. We arrived promptly, but there were people waiting outside in the distance. We sat in the small room on the right (a table a bit small for three), and we were also a bit too close together, so much so that we even started talking to the couple next door. Clean restaurant, impeccable service, very helpful waiters, and we received complimentary bruschetta topped with lentils. They were warm, fragrant, and drizzled with excellent olive oil. The pizzas, which arrived fairly quickly, are in the order in which they were posted: Extra buffalo mozzarella, buffalo mozzarella, and nduja The crust is very thick, yet the center is so thin that the toppings "run away." I appreciated the quality of the ingredients and the quantity (always generous, and the drizzle of oil was always generous and intense). As a side dish, they offered mini butter and coconut cookies. Excellent, with a very strong coconut flavor. The coffee was also worth it. Closed for lunch. For me, the only "off-key" notes are the pizza's overly thin center and the reservation requirement (you have to leave by 8:30 PM).

16/11/2025: Spacious, welcoming spaces, with tables adequately spaced apart. Well-heated (I've often, and unwillingly, had to eat in cold restaurants). The staff is knowledgeable, always attentive, and helpful, and the food is always well-prepared. These are the reasons I love coming back here, whether alone with my wife or perhaps with friends. 15/11/2025: As already noted below, the service was absolutely not up to par with the price, which was definitely above average. There were 13 of us. The waiter took an order wrong (it can happen, of course). When I pointed this out, he got annoyed and contradicted me, telling me how (in his opinion) I should have told him the order. At the end of the dinner, he came by to take our dessert order and, turning to me, asked, "Do you want dessert instead?" YOU??? I don't think I know him, much less are we related. I can't stand this level of intimacy in a restaurant like this. The manager was lovely, very welcoming and smiling, but he should review the attitude of his staff. There are no first-class and second-class customers; there are only CUSTOMERS, and today they've definitely lost 13 of them.

15/11/2025: The worst pasta alle vongole I’ve ever had. Six clams is a joke, and there was absolutely no taste of the sea. Definitely not recommended.

12/11/2025: The staff is attentive and friendly, and the food (we ordered the orecchiette and the grilled tuna special) was unfussy and delicious.
