12/10/2025: A lovely, quaint trattoria in San Fruttuoso. I had the mussels marinara (flavorful and tasty) and the grilled sea bream (tender and fresh).
Considering the area, the price was more than fair. Recommended.
12/10/2025: Excellent experience, table in the garden, appetizer with delicious anchovies and equally good pesto lasagna.

06/01/2026: I'm not used to being so generous with my reviews, but "Ortica" is the restaurant of my dreams: kind and attentive staff, a cutting-edge chef, excellent local ingredients, and a location with a fairytale view. Happy and satisfied, I'll definitely be back soon, even to celebrate my events.

15/03/2026: As always, when I dine here, it's a guaranteed success! Fabulous 80s-style shrimp cocktail, never out of style, followed by seafood spaghetti baked in parchment paper, which is made with pita bread. This makes the dish exceptional, a must-try! Sweet apple pie with ice cream, cream, and Grand Marnier is simply delicious. All accompanied by the house white wine. Excellent value, a restaurant worth trying!
15/03/2026: We had shrimp cocktail and spaghetti al cartoccio... the bread parcel was fantastic! We've been here before and always had a great time. Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back!

24/12/2025: Definitely the best fried food in Camogli, and maybe even in Liguria. The staff is friendly and patient. Alessio, one of the two owners, is incredibly friendly and always smiling. If you're passing through Camogli, you can't miss it.

In each of my or my companions' dishes, there was something missing or excessive. I suggest greater attention or a recalculation of the prices. I must say the location is excellent.
22/02/2026: A delightful restaurant in the historic center, near the Piazza dei Palazzo dei Doria. As the name suggests, it's like a hidden "den" with a welcoming atmosphere. The entire staff is extremely kind and friendly.
Standing ovation for the mandilli al pesto, the gnocchetti, and the Fassona beef tartare. Highly recommended!
PS: Given the layout of the restaurant, it can get very hot; dress in layers.

The food, however, was overall subpar; I had a starter of 'Lugure' meat and a fish carpaccio; the latter was decent, but the first course was stale and greasy, not fresh, and heavy with the focaccia bread; the whole thing proved indigestible.
The fish first courses were adequate, but there are better; the meat second course was okay.
Receipt not received.
11/01/2026: Excellent traditional Ligurian restaurant. The owner, Cinzia, is very friendly. The linguine with pesto and fritto misto are exceptional.

10/07/2025: Terrible. Just terrible! 2-hour wait for food!!!!!! The food is tasteless! Two waiters for 9 tables. The hot food arrived cold! I didn't even eat it, and the waiter didn't even ask if everything was okay! The only thing that was tasty was the pesto bread! My friend's dishes were also inedible! I honestly don't understand where such a rating came from. This place is simply disgusting! I don't recommend it to anyone! Horrible experience!!! One star is just for the ceiling! The worst Michelin restaurant I've ever been to.

01/09/2025: We arrived at 12:15 just to be told they open at 12:30, not being offered to look at the menu in the meantime or to sit down somewhere to wait (it was empty). The place is obviously charming, food was ok, very small portions for the price but ok given the location, however the coperto 5€ per person sounds like a scam for a simple trattoria without even proper tablecloths…not to mention there is lots of room for improvement in the service and the welcome.
24/08/2025: I'd like to give it 100 stars, but I can't! Last night I had dinner with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary, and thanks to the wonderful evening, the location, and the dinner, we had a wonderful evening! Excellent food and wine, very fresh fish, and friendly staff. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews that kept us from booking! Some people should do what they know how to do, not keyboard food critics, who probably don't know how to cook a hard-boiled egg! Thank you so much to the owner and our waiter for their kindness! 28/02/2026: Lovely and authentic family hotel in the historic part of Chiavari. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the pool area is nice and the restaurant has some good local options. The staff is of high level of hospitality, shoutout to Rebecca and Aaron. I was there almost an year ago in May 2025 but keep recalling the nice stay and good time I had in Monte Rossa.
05/12/2025: First and foremost, the wonderful staff deserves a mention. Everyone was attentive to the guests' well-being and very friendly. We stayed in a newly renovated room, which, while not very large, was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was wonderful, and the bathroom was also very nice. The hotel restaurant offers excellent food, and the breakfast buffet is very appealing and well-stocked, even in the off-season. We would definitely choose this hotel again in Chiavari.
