02/12/2025: Excellent welcome! We had a midweek lunch. Seven of us showed up without reservations, and yet they found a way to accommodate us. You can choose between a full menu or a la carte, or rather, a blackboard where the daily specials are listed. The "mandilli al pesto" were fantastic, and the stockfish was exquisite, a different take on the classic Ligurian-style "accommodato." It was a business lunch, but I'll find the opportunity to return and enjoy the cuisine in a more relaxed way.

16/11/2025: A well-maintained and welcoming place, we had a great time! We booked for dinner and chose the four-course autumn menu for €40 per person, excluding drinks. The lunch was perfect, everything delicious, the dining room in the grotto was gorgeous, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. A friendly atmosphere that made you feel like you were among friends. A day we'll never forget, thanks in part to the lunch. Thank you Barbara!

07/12/2025: A very traditional restaurant serving predominantly Ligurian cuisine. Classic atmosphere and impeccable service. We ate their pansoti, trofie, and the famous Recco focaccia. For the main course, perfectly breaded fried anchovies, a top Ligurian white wine (Pigato) from the restaurant's well-stocked cellar, and dessert. Professional and friendly service. We had a truly wonderful time... we'll be back... as we always have for 40 years. 🥰

29/11/2025: It was my first time at a vegetarian and vegan restaurant. Tasty and appealing food, in a quaint location in the historic center. Perfect service. I can't comment on the price as I was a guest.

03/12/2025: We arrived in Genoa on a work trip and stopped by this place completely by chance — actually about ten minutes before the official opening. A very kind young man with glasses at the bar smiled at us and said that even though they technically weren't open yet, we were welcome to come in, sit down, and choose our drinks. That small gesture already told us everything about the atmosphere here — warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. We absolutely loved this place: the cozy, home-style feeling, the wonderful selection of wines, and dishes that truly showcase the best of local cuisine. Everything is prepared with real attention and heart, and you can feel it in every bite. If you appreciate atmosphere, quality, and authentic flavors, this spot is perfect for you. We will definitely come back. Many thanks to the owners and the kitchen team for such a memorable experience! We arrived in Genoa on a business trip and entered here almost by chance - actually about ten minutes before the official opening time. 05/12/2025: Heartily welcomed by the moment we stepped foot into what looked like just a bar, and led to the dining area split into 2 sides - each side accomodating about 20 people. The servers were friendly, the chef came out to greet us with recommendation. We had Ragu pasta, Pesto pasta (of course!!), and our favourite was a Shrimp pasta with tomato and zuchinni! Proseco was a little pricey but we loved it. Tiramisu for dessert, best one we had in Italy so far...we've only been to Milan and Turin at this point.

30/11/2025: A wonderful evening, excellent food, a cozy atmosphere, traditional cuisine, a lovely menu, and friendly, pleasant staff who speak French. Everything was perfect, simply magnificent! 😍

08/10/2025: We had dinner at Clandestine last night. Macda “Mac” served us in the private room, near the bagno. That was THE best culinary experience we’ve had in Italy our entire trip (Lake Como, Milan, mRome, Florence, Pisa, Sienna, San Gimignano, and Cinque Terra). Topped off with the most unique dessert I’ve had in Italy: pesche e mango 🥭!

05/09/2025: We had all-you-can-eat sushi two nights in a row with our family of five. The food was truly amazingly delicious. Nothing to complain about! However, the first night our food arrived very quickly, and the second night it took too long for us. That was a bit of a shame. Overall, everyone was very friendly, but I think it was due to the crowds. Reservations are recommended!

04/09/2025: All-you-can-eat sushi in the evenings and on weekends for around €30 per person, for people over 130cm tall, excluding drinks. Absolutely delicious. We went here two nights in a row. Great service. The second night had a longer wait for our food than the first. Perhaps the second night was even busier, although both nights seemed full, which is a good sign when everyone comes here. A huge selection of food, including mussels and various meat dishes in addition to the sushi. Highly recommended!

11/10/2025: It's been about three years since I've been able to organize a dinner, even though I live in the buildings across the street. This place is a true culinary delight. The interior and exterior have been perfectly renovated, making the space even more welcoming with an elegant yet deeply local atmosphere. I've found the food to have improved even further; the ingredients are always fresh and well-prepared, the portions are generous, and the price, in my opinion, is in line with the quality of the products. They also offer an interesting mushroom menu. A special mention for the fondue and truffle plin and the tuna steak with mushrooms are memorable. Excellent selection of wines, including local ones, which are hard to find in restaurants in the Genoa area. The staff is attentive, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended.
