02/11/2025: On the advice of a friend, we decided to organize our wedding lunch there. What can I say... Thank you Federico!! He organized everything perfectly. The lunch was perfect, everything delicious, the dining room in the grotto was gorgeous, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. A friendly atmosphere that made you feel like you were among friends. A day we'll never forget, thanks in part to the lunch. Thank you Barbara!

07/12/2025: A very traditional restaurant serving predominantly Ligurian cuisine. Classic atmosphere and impeccable service. We ate their pansoti, trofie, and the famous Recco focaccia. For the main course, perfectly breaded fried anchovies, a top Ligurian white wine (Pigato) from the restaurant's well-stocked cellar, and dessert. Professional and friendly service. We had a truly wonderful time... we'll be back... as we always have for 40 years. 🥰

12/12/2025: Went for dinner just before 8pm. Service is friendly but very slow. They were more attentive to the table before us. After taking our orders, we were served with a welcome snack, chickpea fritters. I find them a tad bit salty and could use with a dip. It's not oily but you can taste the oil flavor on it. We were also served with a platter of small sliced bread, break sticks (lovely flavor) and small sliced toasted bread with olive oil and rosemary/oregano (also very lovely flavor). You need to request for the olive oil/balsamic vinegar as it's not placed on the table as a setup. For my main, I ordered the green spaghetti with tuna. Nice dish but a bit salty. The portion is very good. I didn't have any dessert but my friends ordered the vanilla ice-cream with cake/ biscuits on the side. The portion of ice cream was a bit too small to accompany the 4 big pieces of cake/biscuits. The cake/biscuits is very dry too. All-in-all, it was a good experience. Would I go back again? Yes. Irregardless of the mentioned above as the food is still good and I loved the ambiance of the restaurant.

23/10/2025: Picturesque location let down by poor service. Visited for lunch and tried to explain to the elderly waiter (with the help of Google translate) that we do not speak Italian and we would do our best to communicate in Italian. From there the level of service plummeted. We ordered scampi and a pesto spaghetti dish. The later did not arrive with the former and eventually we asked about the missing meal. A few words were spoken between two waiters and 15 minutes later, the spaghetti dish eventually arrived with no apology or explanation. We had walked passed several other restaurants along the harbour front and chosen Elettra, in part, due to the linen table cloths expecting commensurate service levels. We were sadly mistaken and left with the feeling that the waiter did not want to serve tourists.

A very kind young man with glasses at the bar smiled at us and said that even though they technically weren't open yet, we were welcome to come in, sit down, and choose our drinks. That small gesture already told us everything about the atmosphere here — warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. We absolutely loved this place: the cozy, home-style feeling, the wonderful selection of wines, and dishes that truly showcase the best of local cuisine. Everything is prepared with real attention and heart, and you can feel it in every bite. If you appreciate atmosphere, quality, and authentic flavors, this spot is perfect for you. We will definitely come back. Many thanks to the owners and the kitchen team for such a memorable experience! We arrived in Genoa on a business trip and entered here almost by chance - actually about ten minutes before the official opening time. A very kind young man with glasses at the counter smiled at us and told us that, even though the place wasn't open yet, we could come in, sit down, and choose a drink. This small gesture immediately made us understand the atmosphere here: warm, welcoming, and truly sincere. We loved everything about it: the intimate, family-friendly atmosphere, the excellent wine selection, and the dishes that best represent local gastronomy. You could taste that everything was prepared with care and passion. If you appreciate atmosphere, quality, and authentic flavors, this place is definitely for you. We'll definitely be back. 05/12/2025: Heartily welcomed by the moment we stepped foot into what looked like just a bar, and led to the dining area split into 2 sides - each side accomodating about 20 people. The servers were friendly, the chef came out to greet us with recommendation. We had Ragu pasta, Pesto pasta (of course!!), and our favourite was a Shrimp pasta with tomato and zuchinni! Proseco was a little pricey but we loved it. Tiramisu for dessert, best one we had in Italy so far...we've only been to Milan and Turin at this point.

30/11/2025: A wonderful evening, excellent food, a cozy atmosphere, traditional cuisine, a lovely menu, and friendly, pleasant staff who speak French. Everything was perfect, simply magnificent! 😍

08/10/2025: We had dinner at Clandestine last night. Macda “Mac” served us in the private room, near the bagno. That was THE best culinary experience we’ve had in Italy our entire trip (Lake Como, Milan, mRome, Florence, Pisa, Sienna, San Gimignano, and Cinque Terra). Topped off with the most unique dessert I’ve had in Italy: pesche e mango 🥭!
