10/12/2025: I've been to this restaurant twice already. Once, I asked for the tasting menu, and the other time I chose freely from the menu. Both times, they were sublime experiences, featuring food made with high-quality ingredients, paired truly excellently. The wines offered by the glass are also top-notch. The service is also excellent.

10/11/2025: After having been there 2-3 times in the past where we enjoyed it, I chose to have my Birthday dinner there. Terrible experience this time. The service was almost non existent. Most of the staff were rather grim and hardly attended our table unless we asked for service. The big raw fish selection costs more than EUR 70,00 per person and for that price you should be able to expect a bit of service. I will not go back. There are many fish restaurants in Fiumicino. Stay away from this one. Overpriced and sloppy and without service.

29/11/2025: We are two people and went there and didn't have a reservation. They were able to seat us since the reservations weren't till 8:30pm, we were there at 7:30pm. The food was very good, the staff was nice and accommodating. They brought bread to the table which was ok. When we got the bill they charged us 5 euro for the bread. There is no mention in the menu about a charge for bread. Be warned, that's all I can tell you. That's the reason for 3 stars.

09/12/2025: A small restaurant in Centocelle that I've known for years. Always eaten fish. Always a guarantee. Excellent and beautifully presented raw fish. Delicious first courses, good wine list. Very kind and professional staff. Definitely recommended.

12/10/2025: We had lunch at this wonderful restaurant with our family and were extremely satisfied. The atmosphere is simply fantastic: welcoming, relaxing, and perfect for a lunch with friends. The dishes we tasted were excellent; you could taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation. A special thanks goes to the staff, always attentive, smiling, and extremely thoughtful. We felt pampered from start to finish. An experience worth repeating and one we highly recommend to everyone, especially those looking for a place to eat excellently in a beautiful, family-friendly atmosphere. A well-deserved 5 stars!

12/10/2025: You have to leave behind the beautiful coastline of the Riviera di Ulisse and head into the less than thrilling hinterland of the province of Latina to reach Ristorante Antica Carrera, on the edge of the industrial area of ​​Fondi. But it's a choice you won't regret. The rich and varied menu features several dishes inspired by local culinary traditions, all excellent. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always present but not intrusive. An experience worth repeating. Unfortunately, we weren't able to try too many dishes on the menu.

Delicious food; I recommend the excellent pasta and potatoes with provola, the pasta and chickpeas with octopus, and the octopus alla Luciana. The desserts are delicious, both the panna cotta and the tart with cream and berries. The staff is kind and friendly. The menu is written on large chalkboards on the wall. Excellent value. I highly recommend it for pizza, too.

I returned on August 15th with friends for a seafood dinner. Everything was delicious, from the mixed appetizer to the tagliolini allo scoglio, the fried fish, the side dishes, and the desserts. Pietro, one of the owners, is always courteous and helpful, and the table service is also top-notch in terms of courtesy and speed. If you're in Sabaudia, stop by; it's definitely worth it. November 2025: Traditional polenta at Lo Zaffiro, exceptional, with broccoli, spare ribs, and sausage...always top-notch.

The location may not be the best, but the food is excellent: the fish is incredibly fresh, new dishes are offered every day (in addition to those on the menu), the cooking is simple and homemade, and the prices are reasonable. I've tried several dishes on the menu (such as seafood pasta, seafood ragù, seafood gricia, and tuna cacciatore, as well as daily specials like cod with chickpea puree or sea bass with creamed Romanesco broccoli) and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly and courteous. The only dish that could be improved is the fried calamari. I highly recommend it!
