My culinary experience at Romolo al Borgo di Nettuno was a surprising discovery. In the kitchen, young chef Filippo Maria Massarelli brings a fresh vision, capable of blending Mediterranean influences with the sensitivity and products of our region.
Watching Filippo at work is almost a moment of contemplation: silent, focused behind the counter, crafting subtle aesthetic and flavor balances that recall a distant culture yet find perfect harmony in our Mediterranean context.
His cuisine is one of courage and identity. One senses the desire to forge a personal path, respecting family tradition while also opening it to new horizons. Filippo courageously inherits the history of his family and that of his father, Danilo, who for over 20 years brought Romolo al Borgo nel Mondo.
Among the tastings that impressed me: Cold & Hot Raw Seafood, followed by a truly amazing Mixed Fry. What made me a Star, even for just five minutes, was the presence of a great International Fine Dining Manager.
An experience that demonstrates how even in Nettuno you can find a cuisine capable of engaging with the world, without losing its connection to its own territory.
We thank the entire staff for the attentive, friendly, and never intrusive service, and we wish the young Chef a bright future in the splendid setting of Borgo di Nettuno.

The raw ingredients are of the highest quality, the dishes are presented with excellent knowledge and craftsmanship.
The raw appetizer is a journey of flavors, the gnocchi are exceptional.
