04/09/2025: Welcoming staff, but the quality was truly poor. The calamari appetizer was decent. The first courses were very elaborate and didn't bring out the flavor of the fish. The fried fish was awful and blatantly frozen. There were four of us: two appetizers, four first courses, one fried fish, and one dessert, four bottles of water, and one white wine (a satirical one), for the modest sum of €60 per person. I'm sorry to say this, but I won't be returning.

01/09/2025: When we're in Ponza, we never miss an evening on Gennarino's splendid terrace. A welcoming, family atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and traditional cuisine with a touch of innovation. Try the new summer dish, Pasta alla Gennarino! Prices are in line with the location. Highly recommended.

An employee was at the door, very friendly when we entered, but after we ate he was incredibly rude and didn't even say goodbye, even though we had already eaten and paid. 24/05/2025: A place known by pure chance, but it was a very pleasant discovery. The welcoming and nicely furnished environment, entire room, veranda and in the summer also outside. The service bordering on impeccable, courteous, polite and helpful. The excellent cuisine, the fish is delicious, the fresh pasta excellent and cooked to perfection, fried calamari excellent, the best I have ever eaten, crispy and slightly greasy batter, which makes it light and not at all heavy. We recommend this place for anyone who wants to eat well and in peace. Honest quality and price

03/05/2026: We were very pleased with this place. We weren't familiar with it and chose it by chance because we were in the area that evening. Excellent food, beautifully presented and served, excellent wines, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and both the interior and exterior spaces are beautiful and well-kept. We will definitely return the next time we're in that area of ​​Rome.

23/04/2026: The place has been beautifully renovated; I didn't think it could be any worse than before, but unfortunately I have to change my mind. The staff is also nice, they try, and the blond waiter is very kind and professional. It's a shame about the general confusion, caused, I believe, by poor or inadequate management. A strong fishy smell permeates the place all the way to the bathroom. It's fair to say that when fish stinks, you can smell it from your head.

11/03/2026: The room on the eighth floor was a disaster. Above us was the restaurant where tables and chairs were dragged across the floor every evening until after midnight and again from 7 a.m. onwards. Inconsiderate. So loud that we either woke up or couldn't sleep. The room was old and run-down! The walls were partially dirty, and one electrical outlet was even charred. Corners and edges were chipped and patched up haphazardly. The bathroom door was just a glass door you could lean against. The bathtub had a mixing valve for the hot and cold water. No shower rod. Annoying shower curtains. High step-in. Not exactly safe. The back wall of the bathroom was a frosted glass partition facing the room. Great! Very strange. Like it had been added later. Not a double bed as described, but two single beds. We didn't like that. But we accepted it. No hotel information in the room. An uncomfortable office chair with wheels was in the room. No armchairs or chairs. No shelves in the bathroom by the bathtub (you didn't know where to put your own toiletries) or around the sink. No German channels on TV. Mirroring German channels from my phone didn't work either; the phone was too old. Some of the light switches were purely decorative. The room was definitely not worth the "stars" it received! It's nowhere near comparable to German standards. Breakfast was okay. We missed having baguettes or toast. Lots of sweets, but that's typical for Italy. Otherwise, it was alright. The staff varied greatly. Some were efficient, others just wanted to be left alone. At checkout, they didn't ask us if we had enjoyed our stay or anything like that, but they wanted €10 per person per day in tourist tax. Ridiculous for such a run-down town. Let the tourists pay for it. In short: we can't recommend this hotel. The price/performance ratio is terrible. My voucher, which I "won" at reception when I checked in (it was some kind of internal perk), was stolen from my room. What a shame! The only positive thing was perhaps the location. Relatively central, but we don't really have anything to compare it to.

10/03/2026: "I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Hotel La Griffe. After leaving our luggage in the luggage room, on the staff's recommendation, one of my personal belongings was stolen. Since then, despite our repeated requests, the hotel has provided no concrete answers. They keep passing the buck, and we are left without support or compensation. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel, as the customer service has been completely inadequate."

16/07/2025: Il pesce è sicuramente fresco e di qualità. Il modo in cui viene cucinato non è sicuramente eccellente, ma in linea con i prezzi di cui dispongono. In conclusione se volete risparmiare e mangiare del pesce fresco lo consiglio se cercate qualcosa di più raffinato e cucinato in modo migliore scegliete altro.

09/07/2025: Se sì va a Terracina non si può non venire qui. Si può mangiare il pesce sul posto o portarlo via. La scelta è molto varia e la qualità delle proposte molto buona. Anche il personale è molto gentile
