23/08/2025: It would have good chances and a nice exterior but...we're not there, grilled vegetables just taken out of the fridge, very cold, fried food just warm...for me, postponed

04/09/2025: Welcoming staff, but the quality was truly poor. The calamari appetizer was decent. The first courses were very elaborate and didn't bring out the flavor of the fish. The fried fish was awful and blatantly frozen. There were four of us: two appetizers, four first courses, one fried fish, and one dessert, four bottles of water, and one white wine (a satirical one), for the modest sum of €60 per person. I'm sorry to say this, but I won't be returning.

01/09/2025: When we're in Ponza, we never miss an evening on Gennarino's splendid terrace. A welcoming, family atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and traditional cuisine with a touch of innovation. Try the new summer dish, Pasta alla Gennarino! Prices are in line with the location. Highly recommended.

10/09/2025: Il Sogno del Mare is always a guarantee. Update 09.10.2025 Everything was perfect, from the food to the service, from the staff to the professional and friendly owners. This time we enjoyed appetizers of shrimp tartare with stracciatella and black truffle bubbles, scampi tartare with pine nuts and lime zest, and fried baby octopus and anchovies. For the first course, an excellent Vesuvius pasta with bacon, prawns, and pecorino cheese. All accompanied by a "mio deserto Bastia" prosecco from Valdobbiadene, with a fine perlage and a pleasantly fruity aroma. To finish, chocolates and a good Mantovani "Caramel Salato" liqueur. A good value. 11/10/2025: I have to say it was a negative experience. It's a neighborhood pizzeria that also offers food. The place is very simple with modern, basic furnishings, but the downside is the service. Even though there aren't many customers, the wait for a simple pizza was excruciating. I thought it was an isolated incident, but over time it turned out to be a regular occurrence... pure slowness. The pizzeria is completely disconnected from the restaurant, and those sitting down have to wait forever to get a pizza. Those who want takeout pizza have an even worse experience... endless waits, with pizzas being put in insulated containers while they wait for all the orders to match. The result is that one pizza comes out of the oven and is put on hold, then other pizzas come out and go to the tables, then other pizzas come out and go to the delivery men, then other pizzas come out to complete the initial order from 20 minutes earlier... total chaos! You end up with freshly baked pizzas, some in insulated containers, and some cold ones that have been sitting there for who knows how long. I've never seen such poor, inaccurate, slow service. Despite all this, if you're lucky enough to have everything go smoothly and get a hot pizza, the quality isn't bad. You have the option of choosing between Neapolitan or Roman pizza, and the prices aren't in line with the context.

12/11/2025: 2 years ago September we were recommended by our Hotel staff to try Art Cibo and we did. The Owner came over and recommended we try his Bolognese Spaghetti and we loved the meal, the service. The price was reasonable. We had told many friends if visiting Rome try this Restaurant. We returned exactly 1 year later to have the same meal again. Order exactly the same except for the calamari appetizer she asked if we wanted to try shrimp in it as well. Half way through the meal 8pm the owner showed up and we told him how we returned 1 year later and were excited to be back. My wife and I were the only people in the restaurant, the owner told us last year that locals dine later in the evening. Anyways The Bolognese spaghetti came out 20% smaller portions and when the bill came it was almost double from the last meal except adding shrimp to the appetizer. Looking at the check it was $60 euro for the calamari appetizer? The only thing we could think was business was slow and the owner stepped up our Check. When we left after 9pm we still were the only 2 in the restaurant. So unfortunately Art Cibo gets taken off our list as the Restaurant in Rome. Luckily there are Hundreds of Wonderful restaurants in Rome to try.

25/10/2025: We had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant and we have to unanimously admit that the fish was simply delicious: fresh, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was a true delight! The owners also deserve praise: incredibly friendly, smiling, and able to make guests feel at ease, so much so that we felt like guests. Excellent food, wonderful atmosphere: we highly recommend it.

25/10/2025: The Ego del Mare restaurant is unique not only because of the fish we ate and the freshness of the dishes, but also because it has a truly exceptional owner, a person who took care not only of us but of all the customers present in the restaurant itself.

02/07/2025: Unfortunately, not receiving confirmation of the reservation from theforc, I called personally and they confirmed that they had not seen the reservation (I see that it has already happened from the reviews) I book and ask if I should keep the reservation on theforc or cancel it to avoid creating duplicates. If the answer is yes, I cancel. 12 people from the north and south of Italy arrived at the restaurant (we were told that it will not be possible to arrange accommodation because they only have one table for 4 and the others are booked. Given that I have come dozens of times with numerous colleagues, but evidently there are first-class and second-class customers. We lost the cost of 4 taxis.

13/07/2025: An experience to forget. I had two vegetable pizzas with pickled peppers. I ordered them at 8 and they arrived at 10:20. Luckily, there weren't many people there! Pizzas -10, service -30, bill in relation to the service and food -50.

01/09/2025: A fantastic little gem we stumbled across. We were a family of 13 and were seated straight away. Advice to non-Italian speakers: there's no 'menu' per se, but we were served unlimited pizzas of the chef's choice until we were full, and then a pasta of our choice. If you want a specific topping or dish, the staff did what they could to accommodate the request. We didn't quite get it at first, but ended up leaving stuffed and keen to return! The food was superb – we had a range of vegetarian and meat pizzas plus incredible authentic carbonara. Service was casual but welcoming and homely. The family clearly take a lot of pride in their establishment. The views over Itri were stunning, truly the standout of the location. Highly recommended!
