13/04/2026: We had a delicious meal, the service was super friendly and helpful, and it was very cozy inside.

11/04/2026: We made a reservation on TheFork and the Uber was 15 minutes late. We got there around 10:45 PM and the arrogant lady almost pushed us out, saying they were about to close.

12/04/2026: Despite the beautiful location right on the sea, unfortunately the quality of the food is very poor. Hoping not to make a mistake, I ordered fried calamari and shrimp. My plate was only calamari. Okay, I tell myself, I like calamari better than shrimp, and since the manager had already gotten nervous just because I'd asked for an umbrella to shade me from the sun, I didn't want to bother her further. However, the calamari weren't in the usual circular shape, battered rings. Instead, they were thin flakes, very thin, irregularly shaped, like diamonds, squares, etc., battered and fried. They looked like chips. The fish flavor wasn't there at all. My companion ordered tonnarello allo scoglio (tonnarello with seafood) packed with sauce. And yet, he said it was passable. He also ordered fried calamari and shrimp (and he also got shrimp), but he shared my total disapproval. We had a glass of wine, a coffee, and a sorbet (also more than mediocre). 76 euros! Of course, you have to consider that this is a beachfront restaurant, so the surcharge is understandable. But, despite the beauty of the location, I don't recommend eating fish. Perhaps it's better to come here to enjoy a day at the beach and order a salad or prosciutto and melon and a coffee. The waiters are very kind, but the "manager" much less so, and that's a serious matter.

12/04/2026: This was our first restaurant during our stay in Rome… and we ended up going back on our last night! It was our best experience: the food and the staff were so friendly. Absolutely nothing to complain about. We highly recommend it.

09/04/2026: We received a warm welcome and were seated quickly. We ordered a plate of Carbonara and Cacio e Pepe pasta. The prices seemed slightly high for the portions, but the food was good. However, we waited a long time for the bill, which we finally had to ask for after several attempts.

18/09/2025: Delicious and fresh food, mainly seafood. Even the plain fries taste like home. Dessert is delicious. The coffee is strong and good.

07/09/2025: I'm sorry to give it 2 stars because I came here a few years ago and it wasn't like this. Appetizer: tuna meatballs, still frozen inside and burnt on the outside. I had them exchanged for a mussel soup, which was thankfully good. The mixed fried fish was very good. Let's move on to the first courses, which was a sore point. We had seafood spaghetti and buffalo mozzarella, shrimp, and pistachio ravioli. Good heavens! The ravioli arrived broken and undercooked, with bits of provolone cheese, the buffalo mozzarella missing, and the fisherman's sauce, but with pistachios added. In short, it's not what I remembered. Too bad. The gentleman who served us was very kind and helpful, but since he was alone at the table, he did what he could.

14/09/2025: A beach resort, Puntarossa, which is, first and foremost, a restaurant: da Renatone. The owner and his family will welcome you with their authenticity, as genuine as their cuisine. The menu is simple (the daily specials are delicious), yet the cuisine fully showcases the flavors of the freshest ingredients (garlic and onion are prohibited). Must-try dishes include the bruschetta with chicory and prawns, the spaghetti with clams, the catch of the day (baked with mixed vegetables), and the fried fish, which I dare say is perfect: dry (without oil) and crispy. The service is decidedly authentic, sometimes unfortunately confused, but always friendly.

03/05/2026: We went for Sunday lunch, 4 adults and 4 children. The service was friendly and courteous. The location was beautiful, right on the waterfront with large windows. The food was excellent: fried fish; sea bass; mussels soute; "veliero" (a dish for two with tuna steak, 2 king prawns, shrimp, fried fish and chips); gnocchi with clams and mussels; wine and tiramisu. Everything was delicious. The price was reasonable.

30/04/2025: Convenient location and a small, informal place. Given the reviews, I was hesitant, but...surprise...I had a delicious slice of steak and a delicious dessert at an incredibly low price. I'll definitely try again.

07/02/2026: Unfortunately, we didn't find anything of the old "Pane e Tulipani." Pizza was neither good nor bad. The quality/price ratio was too high. Poor experience. We won't be back.

22/02/2026: 2 stars because the waiters are committed, but the kitchen clearly doesn't know how to handle orders. There were 4 of us and we ate one at a time. The tables next to us were in the same situation. Unacceptable. It's a shame, but I don't recommend it.

11/03/2026: It's always been one of our favorite restaurants in Circeo. The fish is good and fresh, and there's a little frozen that's also fine. I'm just not giving it a 5 because the prices have gone up a bit disproportionately lately, in my opinion. I recommend sticking to the fish, though; pizza isn't their strong point.

22/10/2025: Not worth it, poor quality, inadequate price, the only positive aspects are the natural setting of the lake and the friendliness of the elderly waiter.

01/09/2025: A fantastic little gem we stumbled across. We were a family of 13 and were seated straight away. Advice to non-Italian speakers: there's no 'menu' per se, but we were served unlimited pizzas of the chef's choice until we were full, and then a pasta of our choice. If you want a specific topping or dish, the staff did what they could to accommodate the request. We didn't quite get it at first, but ended up leaving stuffed and keen to return! The food was superb – we had a range of vegetarian and meat pizzas plus incredible authentic carbonara. Service was casual but welcoming and homely. The family clearly take a lot of pride in their establishment. The views over Itri were stunning, truly the standout of the location. Highly recommended!

07/04/2026: The tartare was truly excellent and of great quality, as was the pasta with amberjack and bottarga. The usual "slow" service for a Sunday at the beach; the place was packed. But then again, when you're eating in the sun with friends, you don't even notice. We'll be back :)
