16/07/2025: They messed up half the order, didn’t apologize, and said they’d bring the missing item. Two minutes later, they came back saying it’s no longer available. While we were already eating the only correct part of the order, the waiter finally showed up 15 minutes late just to bring us napkins. Also, we had to remind him 2 times to bring us the check. Awful experience

16/07/2025: The place is historic, but since it changed ownership, it's a whole different story. I go there often because it's truly a great place. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and they always welcome you with a smile. The menu is an interesting mix: on one side, there are classic American-style sandwiches, generous and tasty, and on the other, carefully crafted dishes, even restaurant-style, with a nod to traditional dishes that surprise with their presentation and flavor. You can tell they put the right amount of attention into everything they do. Another strong point for me are the beers and cocktails, always well-made, balanced, and never boring. It's one of those places I love to return to, even just for a chat over a good drink.

08/07/2025: The pizza is delicious, and the risotto is delicious. When I was going to the bathroom, they told me to clear all the tables before I went--;; The service is really bad. Don't go there.

04/07/2025: It says "pizza non-stop" but the service was not offered so the "non-stop" is not respected + the unprofessional attitude of the staff

26/07/2025: We've dined before, both upstairs and downstairs in the tavern, where the food is very fresh. The place is quaint. This time, however, we didn't find the dishes we chose to be good. We chose nachos with three dips. I have to say that €8.50 for a portion, which were a bit crumbly and not crispy, with three small dips, I think is excessive. We then ordered chicken sandwiches served with fries. Unfortunately, the sandwiches weren't great, and the fries were greasy and partly not crispy. Overall, this time, I have to say, with regret, we didn't have a great experience. It's a shame.

05/03/2025: For a trip to Artena, we decided to book this restaurant, which is located in the lower part of the town, very nice location, well-kept room, welcoming staff, good and well-presented food, excellent value for money, I recommend this place to all foodies.

02/03/2025: We performed our Dinner with Crime show at their place. Wonderful food and hospitality!! We visit many restaurants in Italy and the best ones make the difference! Word of the Criminals 😉

20/07/2025: I'd love to know what life is like for those who give this place a bad review... A lousy place, not suitable for those with shiny shoes and a sweater over their shoulders... The food is divine, with original dishes of excellent craftsmanship. It's a historic place in Ponza, you have to show respect. Go try it... 253 steps down... but especially up.

20/07/2025: Excellent food in a beautiful location and excellent service (fast and very friendly). For those who like a simple, waterfront restaurant, this is the place to be. We stumbled upon it by mistake, but it will be our first stop if we return to the island.

17/07/2025: L'esperienza culinaria più brutta della mia vita. Abbiamo ordinato polpo e patate, senza sapore alcuno, senza condimenti, le patate bianche macerate nel limone x giorni pallide e plastificato! Su consiglio del gestore abbiamo ordinato anche una grigliata mista perché invogliati dalle sue parole " "sicuramente in vita vostra non avrete mai assaggiato una grigliata così"! Pesce avariato marcio!! La grigliata mista andata a male con tanto di conferma del gestore che ha assaggiato il pesce dal nostro piatto!! Siamo scappate via!! Su una cosa aveva ragione mai in vita mai ho mangiato del pesce così! Mai più!!!! Peccato non aver potuto dare 0 stelle!!!

13/07/2025: Serata da dimenticare due ore di attesa per avere un pacchero per poi arrivare completamente scotto da mandare indietro. Un calamaro alla piastra e poi portano anellini alla piastra. Chiediamo tonno alla piastra sottolineando che volevamo granella di pistacchi e no di nocciole visto che si poteva scegliere e arriva la granella di nocciole facendolo notare il cameriere scocciato dice che avevano finiti i pistacchi mandiamo il piatto indietro e poi torna con i pistacchi. Peccato il posto è carino ma il ristorante da evitare.

21/07/2025: Buona trattoria. Serata tra amici posto rustico ma pasta con le alici molto buone… anche le cozze sono Molto buone . Consiglio anche il gelato… non vi aspettate una location da ristorante raffinato ma vi posso dire che non è niente male … bene

11/07/2025: Posto molto semplice nel menu così come nelle preparazioni. In compenso i prezzi sono contenuti. Tutto sommato accettabile

16/07/2025: Decent place in the pedestrian street in Lido di Ostia, sells food but only stopped by a few times for a glass of wine. Service a bit up and down, sometimes fast and efficient, sometimes incredibly slow. Decent prices and nice young people serving. Nice place to sit and watch life in Ostia

09/07/2025: Instead of carbonara I got scrambled eggs with pasta!! we waited over 20 min for drinks. I do not recommend.

25/07/2025: Lunch with two friends and three puppies. The sun was blazing, but with the table in the shade and a light breeze, it was great. The whitefish ravioli were excellent.

21/06/2025: Mi sembra veramente surreale che in un ristorante in un posto di mare venga servito pesce palesemente surgelato, oltretutto a prezzo indicato all’etto (un etto di findus?), inutile tentare di mascherarne il sapore con i pomodorini e le olive. Anche le cozze surgelate con un colore tutt’altro che naturale e sapore coperto con l’aglio (che hanno addirittura lasciato nella ciotola). Prezzo finale 40 euro a testa per findus e eurosurgelati, senza vergogna, unq vera e propria truffa. E sinceramente vi ringrazio del caffè offerto, ma la gentilezza dimostrata dei proprietari non sara sufficiente ad evitargli una cattiva recensione. Vi ringrazierà la mia amica stitica sta sera, a mia più rivederci

26/06/2025: It is no longer the restaurant of the past with the owner who went around the tables with courtesy and competence. We were there last night, 06/26/2025, with some friends and their children to say goodbye in view of the summer. Our children, 7-year-olds, were making a bit of a racket, but the reaction of the waiter and the manager was such that we decided to leave immediately, even though there were no people who were annoyed and the restaurant did not have those premises of a grand gourmet that justified it. They were rude and not very polite. Furthermore, the food was mediocre. What a shame!

30/04/2025: Personale veloce e gentile, i piatti molto buoni e la cucina propone piatti del giorno di pesce altrettanto buoni. Location sulla spiaggia, locale piccolo ma accogliente

28/04/2025: Emiliano è il top del top !! Siamo stati benissimo e nonostante fosse il 25 aprile e il ristorante fosse strapieno, sono stati veloci e la qualità del cibo era ottima ! Già prenotato nuovamente per il 4 maggio !! Grazie
