14/09/2025: Disclaimer: It says it's closed, but it's open. I had a coffee and a croissant and paid 4 euros. Simple service, a simple bar, unpretentious, stuck in its time, and paying 2 euros for a coffee seems excessive to me. Maybe because I'm a tourist? Goodbye.

17/08/2025: Il Galeone is a classic restaurant that focuses entirely on the quality of its food. Adequate portions, well-executed dishes, distinct flavors, and no unnecessary overstatement. Each course is carefully prepared, and you can taste the attention to the ingredients. From appetizers to desserts, everything is crafted with taste and intelligence. The service is impeccable, courteous, and fast, even in the busiest moments. And the bill is more than fair for what they serve. A place where you eat truly well, and where you'll want to return.

28/10/2025: The experience at the facility was definitely below expectations but above all, below the asking prices. From the moment we arrived, there was an air of annoying sufficiency, a classist and prejudicial attitude that should not belong to those who define themselves as "high-level hospitality". The beach, despite the location, is rather anonymous: ordinary sunbeds and umbrellas, rigorously cold showers and small, neglected, poorly maintained toilets. Nothing that evokes the luxury or attention to detail that one would expect. We were greeted by a lifeguard with an inquisitorial approach, who - even though we had just passed by the cashier - stopped us with a suspicious tone to "verify the reservation". His "And you? What are you doing here?" will remain a memorable example of how not to approach customers. But in this regard the most emblematic episode of the entire day took place during the attempt to have lunch: when we asked for a table, the manager (or presumed manager) pointed us with obvious insistence towards the kiosk-bar, emphasizing that the restaurant only offered fish. A clarification as obvious as it was superfluous, since it was precisely that menu that had attracted us. We responded politely, specifying not only that we were aware of it, but also that we were perfectly aware of the average expected cost. I find it disconcerting - and downright vulgar - to have to justify one's presence based on one's spending capacity. In the end we were assigned a table, as if it were a concession and not a service. Around us, empty tables for the entire lunch. The waiter completed the picture with an unfortunate remark: "I guess you don't drink wine." A joke in questionable taste, perhaps appropriate for any tavern. For the record: we ordered two glasses of Prosecco, two first courses (spaghetti allo scoglio and linguine with clams and bottarga), water and two desserts. Total: €120. Good dishes, no doubt, but nothing memorable or even justifiable on an economic level, especially in the face of a hasty service, lacking in finesse, and clearly influenced by a superficial judgment on who we were. It is clear that at Saporetti they make children and stepchildren. If you want to feel put to the test, looked down upon and treated with snobbery (undeserved!!!) this is a five-star place

24/10/2025: Restaurant by the sea, nothing to complain about the food and the service but some prices of some dishes should be revised downwards because 35 euros for a plate of spaghetti with clams and especially 5 euros for a litre of water seem really excessive to me.

23/08/2025: We had some leftover tenders and chips, and when we asked to take them away, they handed us a container with a completely indifferent attitude. We had to transfer the food into the box ourselves, standing over the garbage cans. Goodbye forever.

12/07/2025: I've known it since I was 15, the menu is the same and the quality is always excellent, they've changed their management style but that's fine. Well done.

10/09/2025: We've tried it several times, and it offers an excellent quality (and quantity)-price ratio. The service is prompt and friendly. The atmosphere is familiar and refined. The menu is well-structured. Recommended.

02/11/2025: Very welcoming atmosphere with a splendid lake view, impeccable service, kind and courteous staff, excellent food, I will definitely be back with pleasure, the restaurant also has an internal bar service.

02/11/2025: The atmosphere is stuck in the '90s! The welcome is average. Poor quality food; not even the fries were good, overcooked. The scampi cream risotto was missing the scampi and was of terrible quality, with rubbery fried food. They also forgot to bring me a glass of white wine; I had to ask twice. The only redeeming feature is the view from the outdoor veranda, but you can admire the lake without eating badly and, above all, without wasting €100.

15/08/2025: What can I say? Fantastic place... you feel like part of the family, the staff are incredibly kind and friendly... the food is delicious! Nothing more than compliments...

24/08/2025: I wouldn't have given any stars, because if I were to even consider the waiter's filthy attire, I'd be tempted to close the place. Not to mention the pizza: instead of simply requesting a Marinara, we were presented with a pizza with whole garlic cloves, something even Count Dracula wouldn't have thought of. Terrible.

13/08/2025: We ordered mixed grilled fish, and we got 2 shrimp, a slice of sea bass, and a small piece of tuna for €20, which I'd say was very cheap. Everything else was excellent.

02/05/2025: Siamo stati il 1 maggio in coppia, posto interessante ma poco curato Cibo normale, servizio praticamente inesistente tranne per il cameriere che prende la comanda Proprio per lui omette nel proporre fuori menù il prezzo, che arrivati a pagare arriva la batosta Le truffe si fanno una volta sola quindi in bocca al lupo per il vostro futuro perché avete perso un cliente per guadagnare 40€ in più e spero che i prossimi stiano più attenti a non prendere fuori menù per non farsi fregare

28/04/2025: Una vergogna, uno schifo, adoro mangiare pesce pago anche cifre astronomiche per un pesce di qualità, nemmeno al supermercato trovi il pesce così, ho ordinato un misto di crudi mi hanno portato 12 gamberi che sapevano di frigorifero un tentacolo con il guanciale di gomma non sapeva nulla ci fanno pure i ghirigori pe fa il bel piatto carino ma di pesce non aveva niente zero sapore l’unica cosa buona è stata la spigola per due alla brace 90 euro di spigola con un totale di 90 euro a persona per un tentacolo e 12 gamberi crudi terribili, per di più volevamo cambiare il secondo dopo 3 minuti il signore ci dice ormai l’ho spanzato, truffatori

15/09/2025: We took the poke and server gave us a really small portion and didn’t try to help us understand the menu. Over all the poke was ok but no more. The tuna looked old and the avocado wasn’t fresh.

20/08/2025: Air conditioning too low. Old lobster Presented by the shell and turned partially empty. Price raised at the cash register compared to the menu price.

10/11/2025: The place is really beautiful and welcoming, but unfortunately the fresh fish wasn't of the highest quality. Furthermore, the bathroom was dirty and smelly. It's a shame, because the location really deserves better. I don't think I'll be back.

05/11/2025: It's finally reopened! In this wonderful atmosphere, unlike anywhere else. The food, as always, is delicious, and the wines are excellent!

13/09/2025: I'd gladly give the ambiance more than 5 stars – fantastic outdoor dining, superbly tasteful interior design. Great details. The only minor drawback to the outdoor dining: The lido you overlook isn't the prettiest in Lignano. But that's not the restaurant's fault... The food was delicious, not run-of-the-mill, but not overly fancy either. Even our two kindergarten children found something to eat... The service was friendly, and our stumbling Italian wasn't needed because German was spoken. And you can't complain about the price – not cheap, but literally value for money. Absolutely recommended.

12/09/2025: Undoubtedly a beautiful location. The service could be much improved. A long wait for the ordered wine to finally arrive; I had to ask for it several times. The bread was stale; I'd almost say I've never eaten harder bread. I was sent inside to pay the bill. For the first time in Lignano in many years, there was no grappa or something similar on the house – quite surprising... I can't say anything negative about the quality of the food; it was good, but not outstanding either. Considering the high price range, the overall result was rather disappointing.
