Going to eat at Bruno's is always a certainty, the first courses are excellent, the second courses are delicious. Nice place with very friendly and competent staff, not least a great choice of wines.

The food was excellent, the roasted octopus and the tonnarelli, artichokes, bacon and pecorino cheese (see photo) that I took, but the other diners were also very satisfied (special mention for the fried anchovies).
Small inconvenience of the evening, our dishes came out at a distance from each other and one was completely forgotten. But these are things that can happen and the owner apologized and made amends.
Highly recommended place.

Bel ristorante. Abbiamo aspettato un poco prima di essere servite; ma le polpette e lo sformatino di patate erano ottimi. Buoni anche i ravioli di ricotta bufala con tartufo, forse troppo salsa di tartufo sopra. Per finire abbiamo preso i loro cantucci artigianali, davvero buoni.

Il cibo è buono, come anche l'accoglienza. Discreto il menù che offre carne, pesce e pizze. I prezzi sono nella media, ma oltre il servizio si paga anche il pane. Attenzione perchè con lo sconto The Fork le bibite regolarmente non sono comprese e una bottiglia di vino da 500 ml costa 14 euro.

We had a very nice meal of mixed seafood platter (my dinner companion) and paccheri carbonara (me). The spigola on the seafood platter was particularly good--very fresh and cooked just enough. We started with involtini of eggplant--highly recommended--and had grilled vegetables as a side dish with our entrees. We finished with a chocolate torte and tiramisu, and even as non-dessert eaters, usually, we enjoyed both. The vino di castello was very acceptable, and the service was pleasant--just leisurely enough. The atmosphere was neighborhood-y and comfortable. I'd certainly recommend this place to friends or family visiting Rome.
