01/01/2026: We dined on the evening of December 28th, my wife's birthday, with our daughter. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted by Elena, who escorted us to a table she had beautifully prepared, with meticulous attention to detail. My wife and I chose the seafood tasting menu for €50 each, which offered a rich variety of mixed appetizers, both hot and cold: seafood salad, sautéed mussels, marinated salmon, bruschetta, tuna with olives, fried baby octopus, and focaccia. For our first course, among the dishes of the day, we both opted for tonnarelli allo scoglio, while for our second course, we enjoyed fried fish accompanied by a mixed salad with walnuts. To finish, we enjoyed lemon sorbet and coffee. Our daughter shared the appetizers with us and chose a mixed grill of fish—sea bream, squid, tuna, scampi, and prawns—accompanied by baked potatoes. What can I say? It was truly an escalation of flavors, everything was truly excellent. The service, both from the waiter and Elena, was impeccable: always available and attentive to every detail. The final touch was truly unique: we brought a birthday cake, and the staff played birthday music in the background. They brought a cart with a shell that opened and inside was the cake, right in the center of the room, creating a magical and exclusive atmosphere where my wife could blow out the candles and take a few photos. What can I say? It was an escalation of flavors with impeccable and attentive service.

They've raised the prices, reduced the portions, and, most importantly, the quality of the food has declined. I've been going there for many years, but unfortunately, I don't think I'll return.

The perfect place to savor authentic flavors. Homemade pasta, and soups and crudités are also available upon request! My compliments! Since discovering them, I've had a hard time eating anywhere else. Highly recommended.

14/02/2026: Unprofessional staff. There were five of us and we ordered a tartare, three first courses, and two second courses. The tartare arrived after 40 minutes, with one person eating while the others watched. Then, after 20 minutes, one course arrived at a time, one person started eating while the others waited, then another course arrived, and so on. If I had eaten alone, nothing would have changed. Five people, as if they were five different tables. I won't be back! What a shame!

17/01/2026: I'm sorry but all the food was okay but the pizza I ate was really heartbreaking. If you eat that pizza I don't think you'll make it to the next day.

12/01/2026: The Padellaccio 2 is a great spot for classic Roman pizza and pasta's. The pizza is crispy, light, and full of flavor, with simple toppings done really well. Everything tastes fresh, and the slices are generous and satisfying. Perfect for a quick bite that still feels authentically Roman. Highly recommended if you want quality pizza and pasta.

02/10/2025: The food was very heavy and oily. But what we really did not like was that we ordered a glass of white wine and were given a very expensive one, once we ordered another one we got a different one, also expensive. Both times they just finished an already open bottle. The price we only discovered upon payment. Otherwise the service was nice and attentive, the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice.

08/03/2026: Terrible experience! The service was extremely slow, confusing, and disorganized, and the appetizers were tasteless! The food arrived 45 minutes after ordering, and the appetizer was served with the entree. What can I say... What a shame!

22/09/2025: Returning from a weekend we stopped at this restaurant in a small street in Civitavecchia. We had lunch on a veranda/terrace. What can I say? We had a great time. 4 menus from 30 euros, fresh fish cooked very well. Extra: we ordered a shellfish soup for the end of the meal, but it came out directly in a large aluminum container from the kitchen because we were full. We would recommend it to friends. Greetings to all the restaurant staff.

13/09/2025: A very positive experience. We tried their €30 menu, which includes a selection of mixed appetizers, which were very good and unique. Next, we had the first courses (we tried seafood risotto and seafood calamarata), which were also excellent. Then we had the second course (mixed fried fish and prawns), and finally, a little dessert to top it all off! We also added the roasted octopus, which you absolutely must try; it's fabulous! I highly recommend it because they really know their stuff! 👌🏽

13/01/2026: The pizza is decent but nothing special. The biggest problem is the echoey atmosphere. People raise their voices to communicate and can't hold back. You leave with a full stomach and a bad headache.

29/01/2026: I hadn't been to this restaurant in a while, as I no longer live in Rome. Tonight, remembering it used to be a good place with an owner who was always kind and welcoming, I dined here. The same friendly owner always welcomes you, and the ambiance is renovated, comfortable, and chic. The service was attentive and friendly, and I was offered a glass of wine, warm bread, and Normandy butter and olive oil while I waited. Prawns with guacamole and cherry tomatoes, then calamari stuffed with cabbage and potatoes, and a dark chocolate and raspberry dessert. Everything was beautifully presented...and truly delicious! I'll definitely be back when I'm in Rome again!
