28/05/2026: Incredible. I'm the daughter and granddaughter of fishermen, so I recognize fresh fish, and this certainly was! It's the only fishmonger/restaurant I've found in Rome with fish like this! I'll definitely be back. They also do takeout carpaccio/tartare (in addition to selling it at the counter, of course), and I'll be back for that too! The waiter who served us (who I think was more than just a waiter) was also truly friendly and pleasant. The only downside was our proximity to the kitchen doors and the constant coming and going, but that's negligible given the quality of the food and the atmosphere.

23/05/2026: At Pescheria Sor Duilio, the fish is of superior quality, incredibly fresh, and clearly selected with care. I tried the sautéed wild mussels—simply excellent, with a full, authentic flavor—and the potato gnocchi with cherry tomatoes and pink shrimp, a delicate and balanced dish that perfectly showcases the ingredients. The wine list is surprisingly detailed and well-crafted, with perfect pairings for each course. The only disappointing note was seeing the owner repeatedly scold the staff in front of customers, creating a tense atmosphere that doesn't sit well with a dining experience of this caliber. The staff, it must be said, maintained professionalism and courtesy at all times. For fresh fish, it's a must. For a truly peaceful dinner, one hopes that certain dynamics remain far from the dining room.

12/04/2026: I had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Garibaldi. The hotel is very charming and the staff is excellent. I dined at their restaurant and was impressed: excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere (the panoramic view from the terrace is an incredible added bonus!). Reading other reviews, I had high expectations regarding the food and cleanliness, and I can confirm that they were all met.

From traditional seafood cuisine to wood-fired pizzas, every dish tells a story of tradition, quality, and authenticity. 14/03/2026: I was with my elderly parents today. A good place, especially in a still-chilly March, where finding decent fish at a restaurant isn't easy. Tasty mussel sauté, with a good broth and croutons. Gratin scallops: I can't expect them not to be frozen this season, and I don't even ask. I just want them to be cooked with care, and these were more than decent: 3 for €5 is fair. And whoever says no, I don't know what they expect... The stuffed calamari was delicious, especially because it was stuffed with squid tentacles! And not just bread, garlic, and parsley like many places do! The seafood risottos were good. The meatball in sauce, which I thought should have been made with grouper, was instead mostly bread and egg, so rubbery that if you stuck a knife in it, instead of cutting it, it would spring back into shape like a latex mattress. Fish, not quite up to the mark. The kind owner tried to apologize, claiming his knives didn't cut well... But it's the meatball that's really bad. It needs improvement. However, the various sauces were REALLY good. Prices are in line with the fishermen's buffets on the Terracina seafront, so not overpriced. I'll be back when it's warmer to see what fish is coming.

02/06/2026: Authentic Neapolitan pizza. A soft dough with an avalanche of condiments!!! They even make pizza with a stuffed crust. Excellent value for money!!! The desserts are wonderful, delicious. Courteous and professional service, enhanced by a stunning lake view. Easy parking in front.

24/05/2026: We went for lunch with some friends; it was our first time. The location was a bit basic, but the food was very good; typical Roman cuisine was exceptional. We ordered different things, but honestly, everything was very good. The waitress was kind and friendly, and very attentive to the customer. Excellent value for money! I recommend it.

15/06/2026: Terrible experience. The only redeeming feature of the dinner was the fried food. I hope it was just a mix-up. All the food (including the appetizers) arrived cold and extremely late. We waited 50 minutes for the pizza. To be fair, they told us they'd remake it, but out of hunger and fear that it would take the same amount of time to arrive, we preferred to eat as much as possible. Finally, I asked for a well-cooked marinara with plenty of sauce. It was exactly what was pictured... Never again

01/06/2026: Food is amazing , I was so surprised how flavour it was. Great quality , good size portions , and prices are good too. Service kind , busy place, locals and tourists clearly love it. Few hundred metres from the sea, terrace simple not posh but who cares when food is great ! Has inside and outside seatings , I wish they would have air conditioner , especially outside . Probably best quality food in Ostia . Loved it!
