23/08/2026: The service was very friendly, they attended to us promptly and were very attentive. They gave us a small complimentary appetizer, watermelon for dessert, and some candies. As for the food, it could be of a higher quality. We tried the risotto, which was a bit oily, and the spaghetti with clams, which was somewhat better. For what it offers, it's a bit pricey.

21/08/2026: Very nice and friendly staff. We ordered 2 types of pasta and dessert. The food was to our taste. They gave us watermelon and candies on the house.

28/04/2026: Hmmm, it can improve and return to how it once was. As for the service, I was about to give it one star because one of the waiters was a bit sloppy, not wearing a uniform, and it seemed like he didn't enjoy serving. I've also worked in the restaurant business and was always smiling, even in the worst of times. The decor needs improving. The food is okay, but a little more character in the dishes wouldn't hurt. I'm confident it can improve. I still recommend going for the mussels and other delicacies.

04/07/2026: I'll start by saying that my review refers to the bar service; I haven't had lunch here. The first thing that strikes you is the atmosphere, reminiscent of bars of the past! Andrea, the bartender originally from Campania, is always ready with a smile and a friendly exchange with his customers! He's not a robot serving orders with a downcast look and a sullen face, as is often the case. At the cash register, a tall, white-haired gentleman is very polite and elegant! The prices are fair, and there's a wide selection of well-made croissants. Last but not least, you can sit at one of the tables inside without any shameful surcharges, as is the case in almost all places in central Rome! I highly recommend it!

19/08/2026: The freshness of the fish is undeniable, but they charge a fair price for it. The dishes are simply prepared without sauces, condiments, or special combinations—just like home-cooked food. The atmosphere is youthful and dynamic.

11/07/2026: Very average food, overpriced, and nowhere near the quality of other restaurants in Italy. The service was lazy - we had to chase the staff just to get the bill. We probably could’ve just walked out. You’re paying for the view, not the food. Definitely skip this place.

11/07/2026: Another place I wanted to try came early absolutely no one there at tables and empty and could not even take two people . They have no website to make reservations , so either they lie or people they know and locals . Owner was there and hostess very very rude and attitude that they were completely sold out and showed me the reservation list . The attitude expressed what the food would be like and I would not go even if empty . Will not go here , I am American and hod bless America, we don’t act like this!!

17/12/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, excellent cuisine, both fish and meat. The pizzas are also very good. The desserts are made by the restaurant's pastry chef. Prices in line with the quality but never exorbitant.

24/08/2026: A lovely restaurant just steps from Torvajanica's main square, with a very refined, clean, and pleasant atmosphere, especially on the lovely veranda overlooking the sea. I also appreciated the simple but well-thought-out table setting. The menu offers a limited number of dishes, but they're interesting and inviting to explore. I started with the "Un'altra Storia" appetizer, which unfortunately didn't convince me: the combinations are simple, and overall, the flavors are rather mediocre, with no particular noteworthy elements. Since it's supposed to be one of your signature dishes, I would definitely make it more visually appealing and, above all, more flavorful. The raw fish appetizer also seemed subdued. The shrimp were good, while the tartare lacked flavor and wasn't particularly well-presented. The oysters were good, though a bit thin on flesh. The carpaccio, on the other hand, was bland. The fried calamari was definitely better, truly excellent: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and with meaty, good-quality calamari. The paccheri were excellent, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked, while I found the risotto with scampi cream truly delicious. The tonnarello with clams was pleasant. The tonnarello cacio e pepe with prawns, however, deserves a second look; it wasn't creamy enough and rather dry. Furthermore, I personally don't like the choice to leave the shells on the plate: when you order a dish already shelled, I find it more pleasant not to find anything that wasn't meant to be eaten. To finish, a decent zuppa inglese. Friendly, attentive service, with good timing between courses. The price, in my opinion, was a bit high, given some fairly obvious errors in the preparation of the dishes. I also don't agree with the common practice among all the restaurants along the coast of adding a cover charge, despite the fact that the law clearly prohibits it throughout Lazio. In conclusion, a pleasant restaurant with excellent potential that, with a few small adjustments and greater attention to the construction and presentation of certain dishes, could easily compete with the more renowned restaurants in Torvajanica.

20/08/2026: Good, a truly lovely place. I'd recommend it with my eyes closed. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the food is excellent. I'm sorry I can't give it the 5 stars it deserves, but the service isn't a different story. Let's be clear, it's welcoming and friendly. DEFINITELY perfect for a different type of restaurant. What's certain is that I'll be back for dinner.

18/08/2026: A decidedly disappointing experience. The food left much to be desired, nothing special, but the worst part was the service: the waiter was rude and dismissive, almost annoyed when I spoke to him, and paid no attention whatsoever. A warm welcome should be paramount. I won't be returning.

18/08/2026: The only redeeming feature was the welcome at the entrance (I assume it was the owner) who escorted us to our table! The thing that really bothered me was the behavior of the chef de rang, who was very annoyed and bothered when explaining the dishes; we even had to ask questions twice because he was eavesdropping, trying to hear what was being said at other tables. He gave me the impression that he thought, "These people are poor and can't afford our food," forgetting that clothes don't make the man... if he ever reads this review, my advice is to humble yourself and treat all customers equally; otherwise, it's best for him to change jobs, despite his age! The food was mediocre and not high quality! I recommend adding extra calamari and shrimp to the fried fish, not just filling it with anchovies, which cost €2 a kilo. I recommend using fresh octopus in your appetizer, not thawed. I wouldn't recommend it at all!!!

29/07/2026: Tourist trap with ok to mediocre food (depending on what you choose) and the worst service that's just too busy to care when they frequently send the wrong food and still charge a mandatory service charge. Most places on Ponza do amazing fresh food. This isn't one of them, so avoid it all costs.
