05/08/2025: Recommended by a friend who lives nearby! Spacious place, both inside and out! Surrounded by olive trees. Friendly staff, excellent food, even the desserts are very good! Average prices! The only complaint, if I may say so, is that the roast potatoes are without seasoning, and the desserts are perhaps a bit pricey at €7! Anyway, I recommend it, and will definitely return.

13/06/2025: Passing through on vacation with my wife and a friend we stopped on Sunday evening, almost by chance, for dinner. Excellent welcome, we were the first customers to arrive. Excellent and varied menu. After an appetizer with excellent bruschetta offered by the owner, we chose a pasta all'amatriciana and two cacio e pepe. Then an oxtail alla vaccinara that we shared. Both pastas and the oxtail were truly excellent, with compliments to the chef and compliments to the owner and the staff, very kind and welcoming. To return.

05/07/2025: Pelagus: A Hidden Gem in Campo Ascolano for Fish Lovers I discovered Pelagus almost by chance on Google Maps while passing through the area, and it turned out to be a real surprise! I was looking for something special to take away, and this restaurant definitely exceeded my expectations. The environment, although I did not experience it directly in the room, is simple but at the same time refined, with an elegance that suggests attention to detail. The owner was exquisitely kind, making the experience even more pleasant from the first contact. But the real star was the food: the dishes are cooked with rare wisdom, which enhances the flavor of fresh fish. Every bite was a delight, a sign of great mastery in the kitchen. Absolutely recommended to anyone who is in Torvaianica and the surrounding area and wants to enjoy divinely cooked fish, both at the table and comfortably at home. I will definitely return to try the experience on site too!

20/07/2025: After years and years of fond memories and perfect dinners, the last of which dated March 2025 because last night's dinner was anything but, I must unfortunately say that all that glitters on social media is not gold. Let's start with the only positive aspect: the food. Excellent, from fish to meat, delicious from pasta to pizza. Last night, there were seven of us for the birthday of an elderly person who hadn't left a nursing home in years and couldn't wait to return to this restaurant where she had so many fond dinner memories with her late husband. She never would have done so. We showed up at 8:30 PM, the place was packed and the noise was deafening, but we sat down on the veranda with a view, were warmly welcomed, and took our seats. Once the initial excitement and well-wishes had subsided, we immediately noticed that after 10 minutes no one had deigned to bring us drinks or water, but we overlooked it and waited patiently. Meanwhile, we were being harassed from here until the end of the evening by a swarm of black bugs that even infested our plates. You might say, it's the countryside, but it was really hard to eat like this. Well, after we'd settled in, the waitress finally appeared, not even 18 years old, and began taking our orders. Soon, we ordered pizza with fried food for five people and fish for two. Great, after less than 10 minutes, the mussel sauté and bottles of water arrived, and immediately afterward, the orders were missing the bread, which had been reported, and the wine, which had also been reported immediately. Well, after that, at practically 9:40 PM, the fried food arrived—yes, you read that right, an hour for an appetizer. The waitress apologized, saying there had been gas problems in the kitchen, but for some reason the problems were only at our table. After the appetizer, neither the wine nor the draft beer had arrived, and my father rightfully got angry and asked another guy serving what had happened to the beer and wine. Two minutes later, the wine arrived, but it was piping hot and without ice. I asked for it right away, and it was practically the end of the evening. At 10:15, the first pizzas and a single fish entree arrived. My girlfriend was still waiting for the supplì and fries, and for a moment she thought they were bringing her a cabaret all at once. A more experienced waiter came by, and we asked him to check on our table. Sure enough, ice arrived right away, and he reassured us about the orders the kids had taken. Five minutes later, the waitress came out with three portions of fries, headed to another table, and my aunt and my girlfriend couldn't see each other anymore, so angry. We call the owner, who, moreover, is annoyed, and comes to us to complain about the problems and justifies himself again by saying that the gas had run out, only at our table, we specify. Well, after confronting the owner, they finally start arriving at 10:30: my girlfriend's appetizer (10:30 PM!!!) and the remaining pizzas with the missing fish entree. The excuse for the appetizer is that we had ordered five portions instead of six, oh well. Mom, who asks for a round Margherita, gets a Pinsa, my mother-in-law gets a pizza with frozen mushrooms on top and immediately sends it back to sender, this one arrives again five minutes later, burnt and with the mushrooms still tasting of freezer-infused ice. With the pizzas almost gone, the two draft beers had probably flown off to destinations unknown. We complain again and the two brown Leffes arrive, which we had instead ordered fruity. Another jug of ice also arrives, the one we'd asked for at 9:00, which instead was delivered by the expert waiter. Moral of the story: we spent €300 for five pizzas, two fish-based first courses, two fish-based second courses, one fish appetizer, six portions of chips, and a dozen supplì, with seven desserts and drinks. Not even the liqueur was offered. Never again!

15/06/2025: This place is incredible - from the atmosphere, to the staff, and the delicious food. We had the lobster sandwich, shrimp salad, and grilled calamari and each dish was meticulously prepared and was delicious. Outdoor seating is cozy. Would definitely recommend.

21/06/2025: Tornando da una mini vacanza in zona, ci fermiamo a pranzo a Cassino in questo bellissimo locale, visita fatta anche un mese prima. Oggi, con più calma, ordiniamo un po' di tutto: la scottata di tonno, i tortelli di burrata, i tagliolini con frutti di mare, la composizione di pescato alla griglia, il filetto di maialino e dolci, incluso un ottimo prosecco. Ineccepibile il servizio, cucina preparatissima, costi giusti per la qualità trovata nei piatti. Se proprio voglio trovare un neo, ma spero che cercheranno una modalità di eliminarlo, è il modo strano di concludere il pasto: non ti portano MAI il conto al tavolo, ti piazzi in fila alla cassa, in uno spazio angusto, come al fruttarolo e quando arriva il tuo turno, il titolare ti dice a voce il dovuto, ricevendo uno scontrino non a voci ma con solo il totale. Per carità, costi sempre giusti, ma quanto poco servirebbe per arrivare alla perfezione!! Grande peccato per il lavoro eccezionale fatto in cucina!

26/07/2025: A delightful discovery near my house. I've been wanting to go there forever, and finally I did. I'll be brief: the seafood is top-notch, there's a wide selection of wines, and the staff is professional and friendly. The location, overlooking the house, isn't the best, but that's not their fault. In any case, the place is fully air-conditioned and comfortable. Prices are in line with the quality.

10/07/2025: Poor food quality at exorbitant prices!! We went to this place attracted by the combination of a fishmonger and a restaurant, expecting to find at least some fresh, high-quality fish prepared by them. We ordered a marinated mix that included salmon, swordfish, and anchovies, but only once it arrived did the waiter tell us that swordfish wasn't suitable. Unfortunately, only after ordering did we go inside to use the bathroom and realize that all the marinated fish was actually a mass-market product, as from their counter you could clearly see pre-packaged fish, truly low-quality and tasteless. Then we ordered cod meatballs, which tasted only of bread and potatoes and not even a distant memory of fish, all accompanied by objectively good grilled vegetables. First courses: tagliolini allo scoglio and rigatoni with shrimp and Bronte pistachios (which didn't arrive), both tasted only of fish broth, which gave them a bland flavor. Finally, a bottle of ARGIOLAS Vermentino di Sardegna wine for €25. Total dinner was €115, a complete waste of money. NOT RECOMMENDED!
