17/07/2026: I attended a communion on May 31st and, unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The location is definitely the strong point: it's beautiful and the view is truly splendid. It's a shame that everything else wasn't up to par. The day was very hot (about 30°C) and the air conditioning was out of order, making the atmosphere truly uncomfortable. The service was decidedly inadequate: a single, visibly inexperienced waiter had to manage the entire table and made one gaffe after another. The wine arrived just as the first course was about to be served, despite having been requested several times. The food also didn't convince us, both in terms of quality and the overall experience. Furthermore, the Coca-Cola (or similar drinks) was served in pitchers filled with crushed ice, giving the impression that it was deliberately diluted. In short, a location with great potential, but completely let down by disorganized service and food quality that falls well short of expectations. I hope these issues are addressed, because the place deserves much better.

16/07/2026: Scandalous! We sat down at 8:35 PM, with an 8:30 PM reservation. At 10:35 PM, while we were still calmly wrapping up the evening, we were asked to leave because, according to the staff, "we were the last table and they had to close." To make matters worse, before we could even get up, the door separating the terrace from the dining room was closed: a highly rude gesture that, even without words, clearly communicates to the customer that they are no longer welcome. Only afterward did we go to the cashier, where we paid a bill of about €180 for two, without any complaint. I won't comment on the quality of the food. You don't go to a restaurant of this caliber simply to eat: you also pay to have an experience, enjoy the view, and spend a pleasant evening, without feeling like you're on time. If I had wanted to dine in a hurry to free up a table, I would have gone to a fast food restaurant or a fraschetta, not a restaurant on the lake. As far as I'm concerned, the place has definitely lost two customers. And, of course, it will be impossible to recommend it to friends and acquaintances.

08/03/2026: We tried it by chance, and it was a pleasant surprise. We had a wonderful meal! Appetizers included mussels, marinated anchovies, bruschetta with burrata and anchovies, and a seafood salad, all fresh and delicious. The first courses, spaghetti with clams and pappardelle with seafood, were beautifully cooked. The fried food was excellent, and the mixed grill was also good. We'll definitely be back. Fair prices. Friendly staff.

30/05/2026: For a few years now, whenever I can, I've been going to this restaurant, always for lunch, and it has never lost anything in the quality of the food, nor in the politeness and professionalism of the staff, and in the prices, always in the "average" range, never excessive. The welcome prosecco, their coffee cream at the end, are an extra touch, those are also appreciated... I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

09/06/2026: For me, food comes first, then comes the service, and then the setting. Needless to say, the place is historic in Ostia, and I have to say, very nice. Of the fish appetizers, I only liked the soute and the fried anchovies. The spaghetti with clams was swimming in oil, but ultimately decent and I must say plentiful. The potato-crusted sea bream was delicious. The service was very, very friendly, especially from the waiter Emanuele, who also recommended a good wine.

22/07/2026: Yesterday I returned to this place for dinner. We ordered eggplant meatballs, 2 special gluten-free pizzas (Vesuviana and Parmigiana), half a liter of house wine and mineral water. After about 10 minutes, 3 meatballs arrived, good but a little small. After 1 hour and 10 minutes, the gluten-free pizzas!!! To my question: but why so long? I was told that they hadn't expected such a high demand for gluten-free! But why? When booking the table, I had specified that we were celiac, just ask the others when booking.!!! With a place not too full, as it sometimes has been. The prices also went up. We paid, in fact, 48 euros 0! It had never happened before.

29/06/2026: I arrived without a reservation, there were 10 of us and they accommodated me immediately, one of the few places that would have done so without any problem.

20/05/2026: Excellent pizzeria, varied pizza menu and the pizza is very similar to Neapolitan pizza, recommended for those looking for a Neapolitan pizza at a good price in Ostia.

11/05/2026: By ordering through Just Eat, I was able to sample two delicacies from this restaurant and pizzeria. They were both delightful to look at and to taste. The dough was tasty and light, and the toppings were excellent, as you can see from the photos, where you'll find the Mortazza and the Nerano. Excellent value.

15/06/2026: Excellent pinsa... It's a shame they don't make it anymore, replaced by a classic pizza, heavily topped and full of oil; a choice I don't agree with. The meat is excellent. The fish is also good, including appetizers, soups, first courses, and second courses. Generous portions. Average/high quality/price ratio.

12/07/2026: The best pizza I've had in Ostia and Rome! Super atmosphere! Very friendly staff! Both the waiters and the bartender!! We asked for recommendations with the choice, they brought us Margherita with ricotta in the sides. Very tasty! The sauce is great! Probably the first time I felt that they worked on the sauce. Definitely - the best recommendations!!!

11/06/2026: A truly positive experience. Everything was perfect, with attention to every detail. Giuseppe, the person at your table, makes you feel at home; he's a real gem. The seafood and meat dishes are truly exceptional. As for the desserts, I think it's impossible to beat them; they're all special, from the first to the last. A top ten to everyone. I'll definitely be back for lunch to try the buffet. See you soon!
