24/05/2026: A small restaurant in Fiumicino. We tried a bit of everything and there was nothing less than medium-high quality, but the scampi risotto was SPECTACULAR. Given the quality of the food and the touristy location, we expected the bill to be higher than it actually was. A full recommendation, we'll definitely return.

09/06/2026: For me, food comes first, then comes the service, and then the setting. Needless to say, the place is historic in Ostia, and I have to say, very nice. Of the fish appetizers, I only liked the soute and the fried anchovies. The spaghetti with clams was swimming in oil, but ultimately decent and I must say plentiful. The potato-crusted sea bream was delicious. The service was very, very friendly, especially from the waiter Emanuele, who also recommended a good wine.

11/05/2026: By ordering through Just Eat, I was able to sample two delicacies from this restaurant and pizzeria. They were both delightful to look at and to taste. The dough was tasty and light, and the toppings were excellent, as you can see from the photos, where you'll find the Mortazza and the Nerano. Excellent value.

15/06/2026: Excellent pinsa... It's a shame they don't make it anymore, replaced by a classic pizza, heavily topped and full of oil; a choice I don't agree with. The meat is excellent. The fish is also good, including appetizers, soups, first courses, and second courses. Generous portions. Average/high quality/price ratio.

30/06/2026: Very disappointing experience. We were served different dishes than the ones we ordered and charged significantly higher prices than stated on the menu. We received an enormous starter (which we did not request) for €75, and fish for three people (not particularly large) for €110. The explanation we were given was that we do not speak Italian and that it was our fault. This felt completely dishonest. The main server did not speak English, but his assistant did and was very polite. He tried to calm the situation, and it was clear he also felt that we had been misled. The main server, however, was arrogant and rude, and made no attempt to apologize or resolve the issue. This completely ruined our impression. The food quality was average. The only positive aspect was the beautiful view—the terrace is right on the beach.

05/01/2026: A wonderful discovery, excellent staff, a unique, warm, and welcoming location, especially the cellar where we had our aperitif, with its niches carved into the tuff rock. The dishes were one surprise after another, with unusual flavor combinations that truly made a difference, not to mention the freshness and quality of the ingredients. I will definitely be back.

28/04/2026: Hmmm, it can improve and return to how it once was. As for the service, I was about to give it one star because one of the waiters was a bit sloppy, not wearing a uniform, and it seemed like he didn't enjoy serving. I've also worked in the restaurant business and was always smiling, even in the worst of times. The decor needs improving. The food is okay, but a little more character in the dishes wouldn't hurt. I'm confident it can improve. I still recommend going for the mussels and other delicacies.

05/04/2026: Reading the reviews, I have to assume we were there on an unlucky day, because aside from the cute place, everything else was, in a word, embarrassing...from the staff to the food, to the service. Honestly, I won't give it another chance.

The seafood and meat dishes are truly exceptional. As for the desserts, I think it's impossible to beat them; they're all special, from the first to the last. A top ten to everyone.
