Caprasecca al mare In

Today, during a visit to Civitavecchia, we went to eat at this fabulous restaurant on the seafront promenade. It's an area with few international tourists. Highly recommended. The fish was very fresh and perfectly cooked, and the pasta was delicious. We received excellent service at a very reasonable price considering the quality of the food. The walk to the restaurant is lovely.

Exceptional place, friendly welcome and divine food

Last night I returned to this restaurant for the second time and I still give it 5 stars!! The fish was incredibly fresh, the food was excellent, and the owner Alessandro and all the staff were incredibly kind. And let's not even talk about the location...spectacular!

I had high expectations because my financial advisor, who is from Civitavecchia, had raved about it. Those expectations were not disappointed; it is indeed an excellent restaurant. Let's look at the positives: first, the staff is friendly (which is a good thing) and also very fast (which is even better); the view is pleasant and the tables are fairly well-centered in the shade; the menu is typical of seafood restaurants, with many items, however, marked with an asterisk for frozen. They explained to us (verbally) that the food was actually frozen (by them) and not purchased frozen. Good, but it would have been better to write it down. I wasn't able to see the wine list because I only asked for a glass; however, they brought me the bottle so I could check the label (excellent, unfortunately not all restaurants do this). The appetizers were good, and first I wanted to try the most classic and almost impossible-to-mistake dish: tagliolini with clams and bottarga. They didn't mess it up. Good, though I would have used a little less bottarga and a little more clams. The desserts were good (but not gargantuan portions), and the coffee was so well made I had to get up to thank the guy who made it (too many restaurants neglect the final coffee, which is psychologically important). In short, a place I can highly recommend.

We've been customers for a long time, and every time we come, the service is special, as are all the dishes we've been served. Excellent food, knowledgeable and extremely friendly staff. Always a guarantee!

A very charming restaurant located on the Civitavecchia waterfront. The seafood menu is varied, as is the wine list. Friendly and attentive waiters make you feel welcome.

Amazing place to sit outside by the sea. Calamari and chicken cutlet was fantastic, and of course a local Chardonnay wine, Tellus

Sunday lunch, the first day of pseudo-summer. The place was packed, so we booked and asked for a sea view, practically standing on it. We ordered two menus: a raw fish tartare and tagliolini with clams and bottarga. Everything was delicious, the fish was incredibly fresh, and even the cold appetizers were cooked, not four carpaccios on a plate. Everything was seasoned masterfully by them. Special mention goes to the gnocchi with scampi cream. The food is a little slow, but that's okay, and the staff is always attentive and present, so much so that we only noticed after a while. We'll be back soon!

A well-kept restaurant with welcoming staff. We had a tasting menu, which was quite satisfying. I'd say it deserves all four stars... but not five.
