14/08/2025: We came to eat at AB Osteria Contemporanea and it was an incredible experience. All the ingredients are seasonal, incredibly fresh, and carefully prepared. The best dish, which we'd give 10 stars if we could, is "maccheroncini al torchio con stufato di manzo" (macaroni and tomatoes with beef stew), delicious! The wine selection was all recommended by Enza, an absolute genius! The quality/price ratio was perfect for an experience I absolutely recommend! If you're looking for a restaurant where you can eat traditional products and have an impeccable gastronomic experience, well, you already know where to come. Compliments to chef Anna and the entire staff.

11/08/2025: A very nice place. Stylish and modern, hidden in a little village (Lavariano) south of Udine, close Mortegliano. Everybody's kind, everything's done for making you happy. We got a tasting menu of 5 plates with paired wines. One of the dish (risotto) was spectacular. Others in general pretty good. Wine pairing well done with one exception (it was mission impossible though ...) . The lady chef will soon deliver a baby girl . Best wishes to her and the coming daughter. All in all definitely recommended.

13/09/2025: Let's start by saying that the pizza is simply fabulous! The owners are two incredibly kind ladies. We were there two nights in a row, a great group of eight colleagues: we had a truly wonderful time. I recommend this restaurant with all my heart!

30/09/2025: The first courses are better (the linguine with scampi and bottarga was excellent) than the pizza. The service was extremely friendly and fast. The prices were good. We'll be back.

14/09/2025: A small gluten-free pizza, in addition to the surcharge that should be abolished, they also charge you for takeout. Better to go to Cardinale.

14/09/2025: I had a delicious sea bass lunch, it was excellently prepared. The waiter filleted it for me expertly.

04/09/2025: I came to simply eat a pizza, I didn’t expect the snobby and rude behaviour from the two male (one rather old) waiters. And certainly didn't need the same waiter to give my 14 year old nephew (and us) a lesson in etiquette because he had not put the cutlery on the plate correctly after finishing his pizza! As I said, rude, unnecessary and pathetic. Just remember that customers pay your wages!!

01/10/2025: The place is also nice, but the food honestly leaves something to be desired. The grilled meat isn't good, the baked potatoes were charred with bacon or who knows what inside... inedible.

26/09/2025: We stopped at this restaurant while passing through, and the experience was truly enjoyable. A big round of applause goes to Leo, the chef, who, after our double compliments, came out to thank us. His seafood stir-fry was simply incredible! Fresh fish, intense and well-balanced flavors, a dish worth the visit alone. Isabella, the waitress, was extremely kind and friendly from start to finish, attentive to every detail and always with a smile. We also appreciated the sorbets offered at the end of the meal. Highly recommended for those looking for good food and a warm atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

20/09/2025: Delicious food, wonderful, friendly female chefs. Even without Italian, we managed to understand each other 🤣 I recommend trying the meat patty!

24/09/2025: I don't know what people are used to eating randomly, but this restaurant isn't a place that deserves positive reviews. The gourmet dishes are very questionable, and the professionalism of a neighborhood dive bar is reminiscent of unsolicited comments and jokes. The location is excellent, as is the restaurant itself—small but well-maintained—but the service and cuisine could use a complete overhaul. It's a shame that these restaurants don't reflect Neapolitan cuisine.

23/09/2025: They must have changed management, the pizza was a distant relative of the ones I had eaten in previous years.

03/10/2025: Quality pizzeria and restaurant. We even found the puntarelle! Outdoor seating for those who prefer an open atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff.

27/09/2025: Average pizza, light, good ingredients, above-average price. Mine was well-topped, but other diners' pizzas were decidedly less so. We were sitting inside, with the windows and front door closed, yet twice a strong cigarette smell wafted up from the bathroom (it could be smelled there too) or from who knows where. It wasn't pleasant at all; in fact, it's very unpleasant that even when eating inside, you can't escape that carcinogenic smoke. Service needs reviewing, the place is empty, and they don't have the patience to take all the orders.

05/08/2025: Two overcooked seafood spaghetti, a gratin appetizer, half a glass of wine and half a glass of water, and a dessert, €66. For the same price, you can definitely find better options in Marano.

16/06/2025: I was there on a Saturday for lunch, spaghetti with clams or rather spaghettini cooked well beyond "al dente" and some even stuck together, grilled fish not memorable ... shame because the place has an enviable position on the road that leads to the center of Marano Lagunare, the place is not brand new but it lacks nothing and the lady at the tables is very kind and friendly, unfortunately however when I pass in front of it I always see little movement, now I also understand why.
