16/11/2025: It's a shame we can't give zero stars. Not for the quality, but for the service. We waited an hour for three dishes: a first course, a raw ham and burrata dish, and a sliced steak. The sliced steak was also served cold.
Luckily, we asked promptly, because our order had clearly been lost.
The huge discount for this total disservice was a generous 10%.
Embarrassing to say the least, and we definitely won't be returning.

16/10/2025: Went there once on a recommendation. The calamari and fried food were extremely oily/greasy. Pizza, salad, and fish were good. The ambiance was geared toward tourists, like every other restaurant there. Crowded and loud.

Spaghetti was quite good, but too much tomato sauce.
Prices were slightly higher than elsewhere, €3 for a cover charge.
Attentive and friendly staff.
Too much confusion due to the lady at the counter talking loudly to the staff and customers.

16/11/2025: They brought us a different bottle than the one we ordered, an extra dry instead of a brut. It arrived already opened in the cooler, and we had to serve it ourselves, only to discover that the dosage wasn't the one we'd ordered. They brought us the bottle and set it on the table, saying, "This is the wine," before walking away. A bit disappointing service.

23/10/2025: We got the tip from a 'parking sheriff' – and it was a good one! I'd rate my own pizza 4.5 stars, but we also had sensational pasta with tuna cubes.
We got by just fine with English.
I found the interior to be cool – which can be a relief in the summer, but in early October it was suboptimal.
The men's restroom wasn't ideal at all – but that can be fixed!
14/10/2025: I've been at your restaurant end of September 2025 for a take-away. Some carbonara which was ... SOOOO DELICIOUS . !!! BRAVO for the people.
It is the definition of the traditional restaurant which I used to see in the old films about Italy : 3 generations which keep doing what they love. Nonno, nonna, Son, and grandson.
Hope I will be able to come back to Italy and visit you soon.

02/11/2025: Very nice place, friendly staff, and considering it wasn't crowded, we waited an hour for the pizza.
As you can see from the receipt, it's not cheap, it wasn't good at all, and it arrived lukewarm.
Since they have two ovens, it might be worth using both.

13/10/2025: A traditional and welcoming trattoria, with authentic, fresh fish and traditional dishes just the way I like them, all delicious. The friendliness of the family management is very welcome.
It's a great place to stay and enjoy delicious fish and meat dishes. The fish is incredibly fresh, as in Marano, fishing boats arrive every day with freshly caught fish. Every dish is delicious and cooked with excellent recipes and according to tradition. The price is good and reasonable.
I recommend this trattoria, located just a few steps from the center of Marano Lagunare. 😊😋

08/11/2025: We were seated at the "osteria," which is essentially the bar where people from outside came and went for coffee. The first course arrived after almost an hour, cold and undercooked, sparse, and served in a bowl. The foie gras was good.
They tried to charge €4 for the cover charge instead of €3.50, which is still excessive for a placemat and a paper napkin and the setting in which we dined. Four pieces of turnip and a greasy, tasteless sage leaf didn't qualify for the entrée.
The owner was completely indifferent to our complaints.
Despite the excellent wine list (even though the one we chose wasn't chilled), I wouldn't recommend it.

The joy I felt looking at a menu full of vegan options is indescribable. Thank you so much!
For my first time, I had the fake pulled pork sandwich and loved it. A good IPA on tap was a perfect accompaniment!
A simple and welcoming place, a relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff who are eager to talk about their work and their choices.
I can't wait to return.
10/10/2025: All in all, a true 5-star experience... far from the tourist crowds... Very friendly service. The location is truly quaint. No sea, no lagoon... right in the middle of town. The pizza oven is also great. It's a wood-fired oven, and the pizza revolves around the wood.
