01/05/2026: A nice, well-kept restaurant in the heart of Cividale. We happened to stumble upon it just as the kitchen was closing (2 PM), but they let us in anyway. The food was really good, plentiful, and made with quality ingredients. Mixed grilled fish and tagliolini paglia e fieno with San Daniele. The only downside was that one waiter made me feel embarrassed in front of some foreign guests I'd brought there to eat. As soon as he'd seated us, he came back to the counter yelling, "These guys are Spanish..." Later in the meal, after checking to see if he could start clearing the table, I sensed as he was talking about us still being there and not having finished. Finally, when it was time to order two coffees and a herbal tea, when the waitress brought the order back to the counter, the same male voice started mocking the fact that I'd asked for herbal tea and, amidst hearty laughter, greeted his colleagues by saying, "Hi, and enjoy the herbal tea!" Obviously, no offense intended, but I must say that going out to a restaurant isn't a vital need, but rather a pleasure one desires to experience, in terms of both service and food. In my case, I was showing my hometown to foreigners who speak perfect Italian. Absolutely nothing to say about the professionalism of the young waitress and the lady who I presume was the owner. I understand that working with the public isn't easy, but I don't think you should be treated like an idiot on top of paying.

27/04/2026: High prices for the quality of the food. There's no need to make spectacular dishes; I'd like to go home with the memory of good flavor. Spaghetti with clams is the ABCs of a seafood restaurant. And they don't know how to make it. Flavorless, bland.

30/05/2026: Only pizza was available on the menu, which we were only told when ordering, rather than when the menu was first handed to us. The service was extremely slow, and the pizza itself was average at best, though the staff were pleasant enough. Given the contradicting reviews online, it seems consistency is an issue here. Most likely, we just caught them on a bad day.

17/05/2026: It's been 10 years since I've eaten pizza in the city center, and I have to say I need to do it more often! The pizza was excellent, as were the other dishes, all of which were of high quality. Excellent and friendly service. The best part was eating outside in the middle of the city, behind the Duomo and facing Piazza Libertà, a wonderful atmosphere in the heart of the city.

19/05/2026: The pizzas are excellent, and the wine by the glass is truly delicious. The staff is attentive, friendly, helpful, and kind. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. The prices are very fair. I'll definitely be back to try the fish.

28/04/2026: I had the pleasure of celebrating my graduation at this restaurant, and I can honestly say it was a perfect choice in every way. The venue is welcoming, elegant, and suitable for both a relaxed lunch and a special dinner, creating the perfect atmosphere for important occasions. The food was excellent: each course was prepared with great care, using quality ingredients and truly authentic flavors. The menu is varied and caters to every need, offering excellent meat and fish options, and even a truly delicious pizza. All my guests thoroughly enjoyed every dish served, complimenting both the quality and presentation. A key added value was undoubtedly the staff: they were extremely kind, professional, and attentive to every need, contributing to the impeccable service. The owners deserve special mention for their great courtesy, helpfulness, and customer service: they made us feel warmly welcomed and cared for in every detail. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality, professionalism, and a pleasant atmosphere in which to spend important moments. A truly positive experience that I will gladly carry in my heart.

09/05/2026: Always worth a visit! Good, down-to-earth cuisine, my recommendation is Spaghetti Cozze e Vongole – this is what makes Udine fun! ✌️ And: Don't forget the Prosecco on tap 😉👌

25/08/2025: A disappointment. The scallops au gratin were three half-scallops, a bit of breadcrumbs on top, and no seasoning whatsoever. The ravioli, which were supposed to have shrimp sauce, were instead filled with cherry tomatoes and zucchini (if I order one thing, I don't see why something completely different should arrive). The desserts (obviously packaged) were dry. The service was questionable; four waitresses twiddling their thumbs, the dining room with only a few tables occupied, and they couldn't even bring the dishes more or less all at once. On top of that, you had to wait forever for everything, be it a piece of bread or a coffee. The bill... exorbitantly high. There were at least three people in the dining room, two brunettes and a pseudo-blonde, one of whom spoke rather broken Italian. If the desserts are homemade, I'm Santa Claus. Besides, those were the least of the problem, since they tasted good anyway. 🤣 Anyone who had a bad experience and had the courage to write about it was in the "wrong place." Luckily, you went bankrupt, or you would have had to find new answers for the reviews.

10/07/2025: Ordered at 9:20 PM on Deliveroo. At around 11 PM, I received a notification that the order had been cancelled. I called the restaurant to explain, but they didn't answer. Shame on me.

21/03/2026: The triple room booked through Booking.com had a broken number on the front door, barracks-like blankets, a missing shower door, and other worn-out, unmaintained parts. We asked to change rooms and were moved to another room where the windowless bathroom fan didn't work. The room was spacious. The bathroom sink is very low. The key has an unlikely key ring. The outlets are also not secure. The bed was very comfortable and clean. Overall, cleanliness isn't a strong point. The staff was very friendly. We didn't have breakfast, but they offered us a free coffee or other hot drink. There is parking.

22/03/2026: Excellent! I've never eaten fish or seafood of such high quality. The preparation was good and down-to-earth, and the Malvasia was also good. The desserts were superb. We were a large group and everyone was thrilled. We've already booked again for a birthday party in the next few days. Thank you so much!

08/04/2026: I went to this restaurant on Easter Sunday. The prices were decidedly high, but given the beachfront location, that wouldn't be a problem... if only the service and food were up to par. A certain level of quality is expected in a restaurant like this, which unfortunately was completely lacking. The food was average, nothing memorable, and the portions were small. The seafood pasta at €25 is absolutely not recommended: the portions were ridiculous, with very few mussels and clams (many of them empty), a few discarded shrimp, and only one prawn, and it was of questionable quality. Disastrous service: we waited almost two hours for our food. The entire dining room was complaining, and some even joked that they were going to stay for breakfast (and it was lunch...). Upon arrival, we stood in front of the reservation book for over 15 minutes, completely ignored. We called the staff several times, always receiving the same response: "Someone's coming right away"... a decidedly lax "right away." The worst part, however, was the rudeness of the staff. A waitress literally cut me off at the door without even apologizing. I've never seen anything like this. I can understand a certain disorganization given the start of the season, but after service like that, at least politeness should be the minimum. But no. I'd also add an unpleasant scene: a waitress filleting fish with her hair practically on the customer's plate. Fortunately, the customers present were all polite: no one made a scene, everyone paid and left. But it's clear they're unlikely to return. In fact, the level of dissatisfaction was such that I saw customers get up as soon as their course was finished, without even waiting for the waiter to clear the table. It's a shame, because years ago, management was completely different: the food was excellent, and above all, there was respect for the customer. I strongly recommend holding a serious internal meeting, because this will only make the situation worse. Having had years of experience in the restaurant business, what I saw was the sign of a disaster waiting to happen. Today, the only beautiful thing left is the view... but that won't be enough for long.

12/08/2025: We spontaneously stopped by for lunch. The spaghetti vongole was simply fantastic, along with a bottle of house wine—that's what lunch should be like. The landlady knows how to make guests happy, and she's an excellent cook.

27/08/2025: We ate at the restaurant today and the waiters were all very attentive and friendly! It was completely full, but everything was quick and the food was excellent. We'll definitely be back!

19/08/2025: Breakfast was poor. Being Italians, we prefer sweet foods, but at this hotel, breakfast was mostly savory. They had more cold cuts than sweet options. Only two types of croissants, and rarely any cakes. Service was almost nonexistent. We constantly had to alert the staff when water and cups were out.
