27/11/2025: I'm from Palmanova, but I go to AL BAFFO every 15-20 days for lunch. I can only say: Everything was good, from appetizers to dessert, the service was friendly, and the price was fair. I have to go back soon for my birthday, so I recommend it to everyone. And even if I spend €70-80, it's worth it.

21/09/2025: Excellent pizza, pasta, and seafood. The mixed fried fish is delicious, with a wide variety, as are the cleaned shrimp and the perfectly sized calamari. We've been eating there for years, and I must say I've noticed a lot of attention paid to their takeout options, too. All the staff are also extremely friendly.

10/11/2025: After two years of not going for lunch, I have to say I was very satisfied. Excellent as usual, the food is even better than before, and the portions are just right. Everyone is welcome at Gardo, families and workers alike, there's no difference. The homemade tiramisu deserves an A+.

18/08/2025: I'd just like to point out that there was too much oil on the pizza, which made it a bit too heavy for my taste. That said, the pizza was still good. The wife was also satisfied, but she did make a point (please take this as advice, not as a harsh criticism): in her case, the vegetable pizza was too big, and very, very undercooked. A pass, anyway!

02/12/2025: A well-kept restaurant suitable for large groups (although a bit noisy!). Friendly and helpful staff, good food quality, the only flaw being a lack of coordination between the pizzeria and the kitchen. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. Ample parking is available adjacent to the restaurant.

23/11/2025: Quiet, small restaurant. From the outside, it's not worth a penny (it's evening and winter), but inside, it's not bad at all. Nice and friendly welcome, large spaces and wide tables. The atmosphere is quiet, so it's easy to chat. Excellent lighting and a pleasant temperature: not too hot, not too cold. Just right. AMBIENCE: 4 stars. Clean. But it could use a little updating: paint the walls a little more delicately, remove the mirrored film on the windows and replace it with new, bubble-free film. Well-maintained. The bathroom is accessible upon request with a key. FOOD: exquisite. Excellent. Without flaws. The calamarata was delicious, the hot and gratinated appetizers were fantastic, the fried calamari were crispy and well-fried. Generous portions. My only suggestion is the plating of the calamari. Although crispy and delicious, the dish was greasy. I highly recommend serving it with parchment paper so that the oil is absorbed and the dish isn't greasy. The lemon slice is excellent, and acts as a digestive when added to a glass of water. DESSERTS: Outstanding. Fair price for generous and generous portions. I'll be back, hoping they'll add the straw paper wrapper to the fried calamari. Recommended!

07/10/2025: Lovely place. We celebrated my wife's birthday with a 4 taster menu including 3 different wines. Outstanding. The quality and taste is superior. Our warmest recommendations.

02/10/2025: We went to the restaurant with friends and unfortunately we were not impressed. The service was quite slow and the waiters seemed inattentive. The food was also disappointing - the portions were small and the taste was so-so.

24/09/2025: I went for an aperitivo, and since my friend and I were both on a diet, we were able to order a freshly squeezed juice, even though the place is more suited to aperitivo/beer/etc. The waiters were friendly, and the place is very nice. The total price for two juices was €7, which I thought was excellent! I'll definitely be back.

27/09/2025: A true gem in the center of Lignano Sabbiadoro. A welcoming location, run with great professionalism by Annalisa and Mauro. The service is meticulously cared for by the entire staff. The menu satisfies even the most discerning and experienced palates, with quality and refined dishes. There's a special children's menu, as well as paper and pencils for drawing. The dishes are beautifully presented, with generous portions. The wine list is excellent. The prices are in keeping with the quality, service, and location. A rose at every table will warm your heart. We'll be back.
