12/11/2025: The lovely ambiance is deceptive. I didn't feel well after the meal. I had spaghetti vongole followed by some kind of meat with polenta. The polenta was dried-out, deep-fried bread, clearly sitting around for a few days. The meat wasn't very appealing either. I ate five bites, then left the whole plate untouched. The staff didn't ask if I enjoyed it – they probably know why.

10/10/2025: A very refined and welcoming restaurant, furnished with a simple yet warm taste. The welcome was extremely courteous, making us immediately feel at home. We chose a carafe of red wine, which turned out to be surprisingly good, well above the average for what's usually offered at this restaurant. The first courses were a real surprise: the spaghetti alla chitarra with seafood and the potato and spinach gnocchi with a delicate cream, prosciutto, and chopped pistachios (off-menu, special of the day) were both excellent, with generous portions and precise cooking. The most memorable note were the tigelle: light dough, perfect air bubbles, evenly cooked. Truly among the best we've tried, true to the tradition of Pavullo nel Frignano. The accompanying cured meats were also excellent, clearly of high quality. The generous portions prevented us from continuing with other tastings, but this remains a more than compelling reason to return and explore the rest of the menu. Conclusion: a restaurant where cuisine, hospitality, and atmosphere coexist in harmony. Compliments to the dining room and kitchen staff. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

09/10/2025: I chose this Osteria in the center of Comacchio on a recommendation, and it was an excellent dinner. We ordered a seafood appetizer, fried fish, and the Comacchio specialty, grilled eel, which we tried for the first time. Everything was excellent and tasty. To finish, we had sorbets and torta della nonna. Highly recommended.

05/11/2025: I just went there for lunch. It's been a while since I've been there, but every time it's a guarantee. The staff is very kind and the food is excellent. They make you feel at home. I don't live very close, but it's worth a visit. I definitely recommend it.

05/11/2025: The dishes are mostly fresh fish, plentiful, and offer a good balance of quality and price. I recommend getting a table outside. Inside, the space is smaller and more chaotic, and there's also a dining room upstairs. Good restaurant.

18/10/2025: I found this place in the Michelin Guide. We ordered the traditional menu. The cured ham was good, but the real star at the start was the homemade bread — fresh and perfectly baked. The Cappellacci di Zucca Ferraresi, a pasta with pumpkin filling that’s hard to balance well, was absolutely perfect here. We also had the Salama da Sugo (IGP) with mashed potatoes — my favorite dish. The mash was the perfect match, softening the strong flavor of the Salama without overwhelming it. For dessert, we had the tiramisu, which was okay. The staff were super friendly and recommended a great local wine. If you want real traditional food made with quality ingredients, this is definitely a place to visit in Ferrara!

21/11/2025: Extremely helpful and superlatively friendly staff. Fast service, memorable dishes. The ambiance and food are worth the modestly low prices for a place in the center of Ferrara. I highly recommend visiting, hoping the staff will continue to smile and share the same atmosphere as they do today!

11/11/2025: I was there on a Friday evening, we had dinner very quickly even though the place was full, the hamburgers and pizza are very good, the atmosphere is quiet and the staff is kind.

15/11/2025: Had a retirement dinner with two other friends. From appetizer to dessert, everything was top-notch. The plating is classic, but the quality of all the fish goes beyond the visual appeal.

As soon as I entered, I could already sense the traditional atmosphere of the place: fishing nets hung on the walls, and paintings depicting city life adorn the walls. The menu features several typical local dishes, among which the star of the show: eel. Overall, the food was good, and the service was very helpful and friendly. I left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied, happy to have enjoyed a good meal.

12/10/2025: I found my review without a description from five years ago. The rating obviously remains the same, but I'd like to say a few words about this restaurant, which I've truly seen grow exponentially over the years. The cuisine is always surprising, with dishes featuring seemingly "odd" pairings that are truly perfectly balanced. The staff is friendly and very professional, with a special mention for the sommelier, whom I'd call an encyclopedia of wine and more, as he accompanied us through a Japanese-inspired menu with a wide range of beverages, from wine and sake to a cocktail and tea, all expertly paired with the various dishes. This restaurant is always an experience.

01/11/2025: One of the best Neapolitan pizzas in Ferrara. They have a wide selection of ingredients, all of which are top-quality. I really enjoyed the appetizers (the montanare). They also have a good variety of desserts; in my case, the apple strudel and tiramisu were very good.
