Comacchio is very beautiful, and during this time of year on the weekend, finding a place to have lunch is a challenge. Almost resigned, as we headed to where we'd parked the car, we asked if we could stay for lunch. Even though it was 1:30 PM, not only was the service friendly and courteous, but we managed to finish lunch in a more than reasonable amount of time. Comacchio is famous for its eels, so we shared fried moeche (soft shells), delicious and tender, as an appetizer. Followed by spaghetti carbonara with smoked eel and strips of pasta with eel ragù. Everything was delicious, so much so that we could mop up the sauce. Generous portions. I highly recommend it.

Excellent local dishes cooked with care. Excellent light and crispy mixed fried fish. The grilled octopus with fried leeks is noteworthy. The desserts are also excellent. Good quality/price. Only the atmosphere is a little cold, but only for our tastes, it's not an osteria.

A very, very nice little place. It's located in the center of Comacchio, and I enjoyed excellent seafood in a typical Comacchio atmosphere.
The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, and I found the place very clean.

A typical local trattoria where you can enjoy Comacchio's seafood specialties. A few dishes are also available for those who don't like fish, but in that case, it would be better to choose another restaurant. Everything was excellent, the service impeccable, and the prices reasonable.

Pleasant lunch. Service could easily be improved with a few more smiles. Fresh fish. The spaghetti carbonara with smoked eel is perhaps the best seafood reinterpretation of a classic Italian pasta dish. Truly excellent. We didn't photograph it because we immediately ate it. Grilled fresh fish, cooked well, also not photographed. A good place.

We ate at this restaurant with locals. Every course was executed excellently. The mixed seafood appetizer (anchovies/eel/and sardines in saor) was among the best we've ever eaten. Spaghetti with clams was a spectacle! The grilled turbot and grilled fish were excellent. Good wine list with more than reasonable markups. Quick service. Recommended.

I'd decided to have eel, and I was satisfied: well-made risotto, the grains al dente and well separated, and the sauce was excellent. Next up was grilled eel: decent, but a bit too fatty; plus: the skin came off easily. We chose the sparkling red from "La Madonnina," a pleasant local wine with a very fair markup. Without claiming a miracle, this is a restaurant that, also for its good value, I'd recommend.
