(And I'm sooooo boring when it comes to fried food!!!) Fair prices and a very pleasant atmosphere with 80s/90s music in the background that I love! ..you'll find Martina at the tables very kind and courteous..Mara in the kitchen who delights us..and PAOLA... who has energy to spare and you'll find her both in the dining room and in the kitchen with the rolling pin rolling out the dough!! From the first time I tried it for lunch it immediately became my favorite seafood restaurant!!! 02/06/2026: We found it last minute and without a reservation, and were greeted by the very kind Mrs. Paola, who, with her all-female team, delighted us with her dishes. The cacio, pepe, and mussels were amazing, as was the homemade giardiniera. Everything was delicious, including the coffee sorbet, which rounded off our meal in style. Last but not least, the price was definitely more than fair. I highly recommend it.

20/05/2026: Best stay of our road trip with our 1 year old. The hotel is family run and we felt super welcome for our 4 day stay: The breakfast was nice, but the dinner was amazing: wow! We dined there 3 times, we couldn’t stop. We went to quite some Michelin star restaurants, but some of the food really was in that ballpark. Best polpo I ever had, and great wine recommendations.

07/05/2026: As a couple touring Emelia Romagna guided by the recommendations in New Yorker Fred Plotkin’s fantastic gourmet food guide to Italy (latest edition now 12 years old), this was a disappointing experience after eating in Firenze, Siena, and Bologna. In terms of service, this restaurant lacks the warmth and personality we’ve come to expect. The ladies serving were cordial but stiff and were not helpful paring wines with the Ferrarese multi-course dishes we ordered. We chose a red wine, Vigna del Pruno 2021, from the Ravenna region that was quite good after airing in a carafe. The cured meat appetizers were the highlight of the meal including the mild, spreadable cheese and pickled onions. The onions were a wonderful palette cleanser between meats. The next dish came in two parts. First the Cappellacci di Zucca all’ Antico Ragù surprised us as the butternut squash grown in the Ferrara region is the Violina, a sweet variety. We are learning that dishes like this which contrasts the sweet with the savory is a local tradition going back to Renaissance times. For us it is a taste needing to be acquired as we think the savory pork based ragu and pasta competes with the sweet squash filling. Also on this plate was Pasticcio all’ uso di Ferrara in crosta di Pasta frolla. Again, this is a sweet/savory combination that we’ll need to learn to appreciate. It’s a slightly sweet pastry shell filled with a good mix of pasta, ragu, nutmeg, and cheese. To our taste it would have been better served sans sugar. We were prepared to enjoy the next dish of a special salami which is highly spiced, savory, and rich in aromas as part of the Salama da Sugo con Puré di patate. We could not finish it as the sausage was over-the-top salty. No other spicy flavor was discernible as a result and the mashed potatoes soaking in the broth of the sausage was sweetened. Once more, unnecessarily to our tastes. We would have enjoyed the desserts had the salt from the previous dish not wiped out our taste buds. We can’t penalize this restaurant too much as we think the Ferrara style of contrasting the sweet with savory is not to our liking. But the unpalatable, overly salty salami was unacceptable and the service uninspiring.

04/05/2026: Excellent dinner in an elegant setting. Prompt and attentive service, very good food. We enjoyed the macaroni pie and the veal cheek. The traditional pinzini appetizer was exceptional. Highly recommended.

05/04/2026: A takeaway Caprese sandwich (industrial mozzarella and tomato) cost 8 euros. The exorbitant price was attributed to the cost of the ciabatta. The waitress was kind, however, and, to my disappointment, offered to remake it differently. The problem, however, isn't that, but rather the feeling of being cheated by constant and absurd price increases, especially in Parma.

23/05/2026: A cozy restaurant in the center. Delicious food, I especially recommend trying the horse meat tartare and pasta. Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. Highly recommended 😌

20/05/2026: I've never been there. I always pass by it on the way to the bus stop... JUDGING from the crowds, it must be a good quality restaurant... I'll go there someday.

08/06/2026: We booked for dinner and had a great time! The cold appetizer was very good. The mixed fried fish served with a very good piadina. The portions were generous, and the tuna tartar was excellent! The wait time was just right, and the staff were very friendly and attentive to their customers' needs. I recommend it!

21/05/2026: 2024: After seeing a video on Instagram, I was intrigued and went there with my girlfriend for dinner. Delicious, excellent service, and the two owners were incredibly kind and helpful. I don't need to say anything else, except that I'll be back many more times. Update in 2026: I've been going there often now with my partner, and it's always top-notch, not a single thing out of place! We even celebrated some of our cousins' birthdays there.

18/05/2026: I came with my mother, Lella, and we were delighted with the welcome from all the staff. Thanks also to the chef for the care he took in preparing the food. We were impressed by every detail, even the coffee, with a pastry. Pastry. Thank you. We both needed some attention. My mother wants to come back, and seeing her happy made my day. Vera and Lella.

07/12/2025: My husband and I had a wonderful time. The staff were extremely friendly, the food was good, and the rooms were very clean, well-insulated from traffic noise, and had a minibar. The hotel, which offers free parking, is convenient for Cervesi Hospital, a three-minute drive away—a crucial aspect for us since we were in Cattolica for medical reasons. The Wi-Fi signal was excellent. Highly recommended.
