19/10/2025: Don’t do it. As said in other reviews, this business is greedy. A reservation was made by our tour guide for lunch, when we got there the waiter asked if we were having just drinks. We said we intended to have lunch. We ordered drinks and realized my husband didn’t care for the menu. We said we changed our minds and wanted just drinks. The waiter said if we didn’t order lunch they would charge us 100€ for the little boat that took us from our tour boat to the restaurant (less than 50 feet). He said it was the owner’s policy. We had to eat lunch there. I also heard an older couple at the table beside us ask if they could split a risotto. The waiter said no. This place was not packed, and we were in fact the first people in the place. We told our tour company who said that little boat transfer was included in our tour cost and vowed to never recommend them again. Terrible service.

12/10/2025: The place is neglected, old, and reminiscent of the 1980s. The €3 cover charge is absurd. The food is decent, but the bill is incredibly high: two appetizers and two first courses cost €90! See you never again.

27/09/2025: Let's start by saying that I had booked, but no one knew I was coming when I arrived. "Sit wherever you want," that's fine because it was empty, but what if it hadn't been? The waiters are harassing you, can I take it away? Still with the plate half empty, and what do you want? I eat slowly, they stare at you while you eat, waiting for you to finish. Honestly, it bothered me. We started with an appetizer of frittatas, arancini, and supplì with battered vegetables. Everything was very salty, especially the vegetables, not flavorful but very salty. I'd say it wasn't quite there. My wife had paccheri with seafood. €20 seems like an exaggeration to me; they were even raw, they stuck to your teeth. For a first course, I was expecting something good given the price. I had a pizza diavola, a "Neapolitan pizza," which was, well, burnt. You could feel little pebbles while eating, perhaps due to the burnt base. The tomato was raw, and the mozzarella was cold and not stringy at all. This one also deserves a thumbs-up. I had high expectations for this place after seeing it on Maps. But the end result was disappointing. I'm sorry, I won't be back.

28/08/2025: I went there last night, nice atmosphere, very large, good food, slow service, only one expert waiter for the whole room, high price, a bottle of water 5 euros, plus 3.50 cover charge, quality price not proportionate

20/08/2025: Finally, smiling staff! After three days in Ischia, I'd given up hope. Very good food, both meat and seafood, and excellent value for money. The only flaw that ruined a fantastic dish for me was the cooking time for the scialatielli, in my opinion, but that can happen. The octopus and sauce were out of this world. Well done!

23/07/2025: We stopped by for a lunch during the trip in Capri, that was late March, just before the season opening so there weren't many places open yet. Al Capri was recommended by our Italian tour guide. The place is specious with lots of tables available, clean, with breath-taking views, decorated in Mediterranean style which is very welcoming. We ordered pizza and spaghetti al limone. That was best spaghetti I've had in Italy during the whole stay. The pizza was good, it didn't make in the top 3 out of 10 we tried though. Good selection of wine. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was served in timely manner. The places has lots to offer, including the beautiful decor and views, good food and location- it's off the main square so it's not so crowded but still close La piazetta.

18/07/2025: Attirati dalla musica romantica di un bravo pianista live, ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante a pochi passi dalla famosa piazzetta di Capri. Subito accolti con gentilezza siamo stati accompagnati al tavolo a noi assegnato. Il nostro cameriere Angelo ( di nome e di fatto ) ci ha consigliato e coccolato. Il mio “Fusillone ai frutti di mare” è stato a dir poco sublime. Vista spettacolare e atmosfera incredibile. Super consigliato! Nancy B.

24/08/2025: Today 24.08.25 I went to lunch with the family, honestly very expensive, be careful, look at the bill, what it writes, for example they took Coca Cola in a can, marked in glass 3€ each, cover charge 14€ with 3 children also calculated, croquettes 3€ each, in the menu of 50€ per couple they put a glass of wine for 2 people and a not very serious joke the old man.... anyway I do not recommend it, I repeat, be careful 👎👎👎👎👎👎

02/08/2025: Another place that has lost its charm. Tables very near to each other, behind me waiters kept passing like on a motorway hitting my chair every time. The prices have increased so much: a plate averages 50/60 euros. Portions are generous though. You need a mortgage for a wine, where the least expensive glass is 18 euros. At a certain point the waiter collected bread from the table without even asking if we were still eating it. Puzzling. The crowd used to be so stylish and now there’s so many loud tables. Food is good, but not exceptional, in fact rather forgettable. A free frozen limoncello at the end is a nice touch.

27/07/2025: Tuvimos un buen almuerzo en este encantador restaurante junto al mar, cerca de la Grotta Azzurra. Lugar muy concurrido, pero súper servicio y muy buen rollo. Matteo nos cuidó muy bien. Para empezar, la ensalada de langosta para compartir era muy bueno, el pescado como principal ok. Las vistas increíbles. También había una tienda emergente Dior y club de playa adjunto. Gran selección de vinos. Postre buffet inmejorable. Música en vivo, súper agradable. Asegúrese de que el restaurante pida un taxi antes de irse. Reserva necesaria.

29/06/2025: It was excellent. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant, making the whole experience enjoyable. If you visit Capri, I definitely recommend trying the fish here. A great meal without any fuss.

23/05/2025: Very positive home delivery experience. I only ordered a mussels with pepper and a calamari fry that arrived at home with 2 excellent prawns, still crunchy after about 20 minutes. All for a very honest price of €20. Tasty mussels, well cleaned and tasty for the season and cooked to perfection - they remained pleasantly large and not overcooked. Reasonably large portions. Professional delivery service (perfect packaging for fish dishes) and friendly - having an arm in a cast the delivery woman helped me set the table. I highly recommend for the Arenella district and I will definitely try again. 4.5 or 5 total rating

15/08/2025: A restaurant that exudes a sense of home and familiarity. We booked and opted for their fixed seafood menu: appetizer, two first courses, a choice of a second course from the daily specials, fruit, and a dessert and bittersweet dessert. The dishes are flavorful and portions are reasonable. The restaurant is airy with several internal rooms and a splendid terrace with many tables with a beautiful view. The staff is kind and courteous, Mr. Franco and Mr. Tomaso friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable. Recommended.
