22/02/2026: We discovered this place today. The welcoming smile of the lady in the dining room, the well-kept, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. The food was good, freshly cooked, and of high quality. Genovese cuisine cooked with love. Flavorful, crispy, and dry fried food. Dishes presented with taste and passion by the kind gentleman in the kitchen, whom we even complimented. If you're in Pompeii, it's on the side street next to the sanctuary. Just a two-minute walk. I recommend it! We'll be back.

05/02/2026: Must try. The staff are friendly and welcoming. From the chef to the waitress, you'll feel right at home. Listen to their recommendations. The portions are generous. Don't eat breakfast before you go; they'll make sure you're full with unforgettable food.

24/10/2025: The lady with blond hair at the checkout is unpleasant, as warm as a prison door, the service is catastrophic and the quality of the sea water is dirty because the hotel on the left discharges its waste water into the sea.

20/12/2025: An excellent (though a hair pricey) restaurant right in the thick of Capri Town which serves up fresh pasta and seafood. Be sure to ask if seating is open upstairs to get stellar views of Marina Grande and Naples.

21/10/2025: A really great fish restaurant in a great location of Lacco Ameno. The staff are fantastic and really knowledgeable. Help with choices of fish pasta and wine. You have to try the octopus here it is really special. We actually visited twice.

03/01/2026: They brought my pizza last, and it was wrong. They remade it, and it arrived after half my friends had already finished. The pizza didn't have the requested ingredients, and I wasn't notified, either beforehand so I could change it, or afterward. They just pretended nothing had happened, and when I asked for an explanation, they told me the ingredient wasn't seasonal and they didn't notice... anyway, they charged me full price. In any case, the pizza I ate wasn't anything special; in fact, it left me feeling sick, and one of my friends even felt ill.

09/03/2026: We made a reservation, arrived a little early, but were seated anyway. However, a waiter, having ascertained that we were there for the pizza and not the restaurant, told us that the reservation was only for the restaurant, not the pizza. He also added that they had "definitely" already told us this over the phone. Of course, that wasn't the case. The owner tells him that's fine, and he approaches, starting with a "quick-quick." He barely gives us time to read and presses us with a pad and pen in his hand. Hearing that two of us are only drinking water, he doesn't even listen to what the others want and leaves... I have to call him back to tell him I wanted a beer. You shouldn't treat people like that because they won't spend €100 each. This behavior doesn't live up to the pizzeria's reputation.

03/02/2026: Elegant retro atmosphere and excellent service. The pizza 🍕 is delicious, I recommend it to everyone.

24/02/2026: Here we are. We were there for lunch with about ten people. The seafood scialatello was a truly well-made and delicious dish. A great place to try, excellent fish.

13/10/2025: Terrible experience. Yesterday we called to ask for some information, but they hung up on us while we were still talking. We stopped by the restaurant today, but they wouldn't let us in because we had a small dog in a closed bag. The staff was rude and unhelpful. They obviously don't need customers.

10/10/2025: Simple trattoria. Menu announced verbally. Few dishes, but very tasty. A very good roast. Spartan service with long tables for several people. Typically a small town place, but very pleasant.

08/09/2025: Perfect! The beach is very large and very clean, with bars, restrooms, and showers. You can even lounge on the rocks.

04/09/2025: Posillipo is a very beautiful place for swimming, but it's inconvenient for the elderly and disabled to go down, and then extremely difficult to go back up if you're no longer very young. You can only go there with a towel and slippers without carrying unnecessary weight. There are no elevators or freight elevators, and parking nearby is impossible; you have to walk or use a scooter or take a taxi.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati al Ristorante Da Filippo in occasione di una cena. Posto leggermente affollato ma personale efficiente nei tempi di attesa. Abbiamo ordinato un primo piatto, due tagliate di carne e un dolce. Prezzi modici per la qualità del posto e del cibo, inoltre le porzioni erano adeguate ne abbondanti né insufficienti. Che dir si voglia, ma non che non abbia rispettato le nostre aspettative. Citando un noto poeta: “fu tzoppu beddu stu manciari sangò”.

21/02/2026: They recommended this place to us...and we went! We had an average meal...I can't say I said "wow"... A pasta and beans dish with some seafood here costs 22 euros...It's not a question of price...But for 22 euros...the dish should be bursting with seafood...but that wasn't the case...A first course in a good restaurant costs 14 euros...18 at most...But 22 euros seemed expensive for what I got! I shared an appetizer with a colleague of mine...Which included a small bowl of clams...a small fried dish that wasn't hot...an octopus and that's it...It seems a bit paltry for a seafood place and an appetizer! We added a portion of grilled razor clams off the appetizer menu...I can't say anything good...except that we paid for them separately off the menu and not in an appetizer! We didn't order anything else...because with a bottle of wine and a bottle of water...We came to 130 euros for two! I've been to other seaside resorts, whether it's Molise, Abruzzo, or Puglia, but I haven't found anything that would make me want to return! Maybe because we're not local, we were treated differently? I don't know, but I won't be returning! We need to be more honest. It's not about price. But without quantity, it becomes a question of price.

20/02/2026: I visited Panibottle after watching a YouTube video, and the verdict was absolutely delicious. The seafood was exceptionally fresh, and while it's pricier than typical restaurants, it's well worth the price. Of the five restaurants I've tried in Naples, this is my top pick! The pasta with various shrimp and tomatoes is the best.

01/03/2026: I think it was the first and last time we'd go there... terrible food, from the tasteless spaghetti with clams full of sand... horrendous To the seafood risotto With overcooked rice and definitely frozen seafood floating in the water Everything was terrible... 25/02/2026: Terrible Entrance right in the middle of a construction site without using temporary partitions to promote the location and the view: before reaching the dining room, we walked among rubble and plastic bags. Food: Appetizer: bland clam soute Salmon, octopus, and shrimp trio: the salmon was decent, but both the octopus and shrimp were bland and very defrosted on a bed of stale lettuce. First courses: Lemon risotto, overflowing with cream and butter, arrived cold (I imagine it was prepared that morning and then reheated roughly before being brought to the table). Spaghetti with clams: the clams were full of sand, and the pasta was overcooked and "rinsed" in tomatoes. We asked to speak to the owner, who initially introduced himself as such but then reconsidered his role and, in any case, refused to come to the table. At the payment stage, we explained everything in detail, and the response was: Madam, this restaurant is obviously not for "you," they don't even know the formal "lei"! Strongly not recommended! The food is truly awful!

22/09/2025: We stayed for eight nights, and had a lovely time with no complaints. Guido and his team and all very helpful and friendly, and he gave us lots of advice on what to do and how to get around the island, which improved our stay. He also arranged our transfers to and from Napoli airport (car-->ferry-->car), which removed a lot of stress and worked perfectly. The views are great, and the hotel is nicely located away from the busy streets - so long as you don't mind walking uphill. The restaurant is also really good - both in quality and value. If/when we go back to Sant' Angelo we will definitely stay here again - it's a lovely hotel, and very reasonably priced.
