05/03/2026: Beautiful dinner here where we celebrated a beautiful birthday. The atmosphere was intimate and elegant. The quality of food is high and the service of its host is near the perfection....several options gluten free and lactose free was available.... good choices of wine

08/11/2025: Refood was one of our favorite places we ate at during our trip to Sorrento! We ended up eating there twice it was so amazing. We had the calamari, clams linguine, lasagna, and gnocchi a la Sorrento. The calamari was tender and tasted like it had been caught that same day, and the gnocchi was made using potatoes from the owner’s farm. Both times we went the service was great and we loved getting to know the amazing family who owns the place. I highly recommend! Be sure and check out the owner’s wine cellar while you’re there as well.

30/10/2025: We were a bit pushed for time with our toddler with us so only had time for a main and quick desert I feel I must leave a review. The traditional local dishes were perfect and even our smallest family member approved! We had the Gnocchi alla Sorrento and a Spaghetti alla nerano that was perfectly balanced (when a cheese dish like that could have ended up cloying). The service was also very friendly. Although the building is spacious it has a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. Grazie millie!

24/02/2026: This restaurant is amazing. We found it by chance, but the view is breathtaking and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. We ate lemon pasta with fish and it was one of the best pastas we had in two weeks Italy. We were already super positve when we left the place. But besides that, I forgot my handbag including my passport in the restaurant and only discovered that four hours later, when we had continued our road to Sicily. He sent the handbag as a package to our next hotel in Palermo, very helpful and friendly!

11/02/2026: Mame Ostrichina was a truly memorable experience. There’s a surprise waiting downstairs — the lower floor is beautifully designed, clearly curated with taste and intention. The atmosphere feels refined and intimate, and the art gallery element adds an unexpected cultural touch. The variety, ingenuity, and presentation of the dishes were impressive — but most importantly, the flavors were exceptional. Every course felt balanced and thoughtful. The wine selection is also outstanding, with excellent pairings that complement the menu perfectly. You may come to Naples for the pizza, but this is a true hidden gem for anyone who enjoys sushi or simply needs a refined break from the heavier local cuisine. Highly recommended.

02/03/2026: My friends and I have been in italy for 3 weeks now (rome, florence, Venice, milan) and we got to sorrento last night and came across this restaurant, it was hands down the best food we have had since being in Europe. The service was spectacular along with the food and the view. The prices are so reasonable as well! Must go!

14/02/2026: I made a reservation online, only to show up and find the restaurant completely closed for the off-season. Seriously? You’re closed but still taking reservations? On February 14, when most places are busy and it’s hard to find an alternative last-minute! Totally unacceptable and incredibly disappointing — update your system if you’re not open.

14/01/2026: I was in Sorrento on an organized trip, and I happened upon this restaurant by chance with some of my fellow travelers. The owner greeted us very warmly, saying he'd offer us both wine and bruschetta. We thought it was yet another tourist trap, where they sit you down and then charge you for everything, but they were true to their word: decent wine, excellent bruschetta, and delicious main courses, all reasonably priced (the seafood risotto was €20, which was also delicious). Highly recommended, especially for its excellent location; if I were to return to this beautiful town, I'd definitely know where to have lunch.

The welcome and the atmosphere From the moment we entered, we were greeted by the Chef's wife, an extremely professional figure who immediately put us at ease. The ambiance is meticulously crafted, elegant yet with a touch of warmth that makes you feel "at home," making the experience almost familiar despite the exceptionally high level of service. The gastronomic journey From aperitif to dessert, every step was a crescendo of flavors. The quality of the ingredients is unquestionable, but it's the Chef's skill that makes the difference: The Egg: Simply unforgettable. A balance of textures and temperatures that remains etched in the memory. The Fusillone: ​​It left us literally speechless; a dish worth the trip alone. The Human Touch The real added value was meeting Chef Gramaglia. He's a wonderful person with a rare warmth; chatting with him after the meal was an extremely pleasant moment that further enriched our day. Mrs. Laila was the perfect hostess, and Chef Paolo Gramaglia was superb, surprising us from the first course to the last with dishes that were beautiful to look at but, above all, incredibly delicious. We will definitely return and recommend the President restaurant to anyone who wants to feel at home while savoring unique and exquisite dishes, the result of a combination of the best Neapolitan tradition with the flavors and aromas of distant lands. 01/03/2026: A very unique and welcoming place. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, and the service was impeccable. Excellent cuisine. We had phenomenal house appetizers, bucatini and rabbit, excellent but quite light, not overly flavorful. They offered coffee and zeppole for everyone. Overall, one of the best restaurants in Forio. Congratulations! 👍

15/01/2026: Such calm, cozy and at the same time sophisticated atmosphere! The live piano music was a treat! Food was great, service also excellent, there is a small parking. We made a reservation and went with a scooter we have rented, as many on the island do, so it was easy to reach. Highly recommended restaurant!

27/10/2025: This place has amazing food, everything served fresh! Delicious looking and tasting, all seasoned perfectly. The desserts are to die for, especially the limoncello tiramisu. Their special, pumpkin ravioli was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had and the lasagna has been my favorite to date!
