12/06/2026: The staff were excellent, and it's a romantic spot tucked away from the city. Getting to the restaurant was a bit confusing, so we recommend calling ahead to learn about the restaurant's parking (which is very spacious, by the way). The food selection is varied, from meat to fish, and there's also a wide selection of wines. If you'd like to try the Ischia-style rabbit, you'll need to call ahead to reserve it. We had a mixed antipasto that included both meat and seafood. As a parmigiana lover, I can say that the shrimp with mayonnaise (made by them) was almost tastier and definitely delicious. Everything was excellent!!!

08/06/2026: We spontaneously walked up to the restaurant and were lucky with our table. The first thing we noticed was the beautiful view over the island and the adjacent sea. The second was the friendliness and competence of the service. We had already tried several beach restaurants in Lacco Ameno, and they mainly focused on the expensive bottle of wine, the large fish, and the quality, which didn't live up to the waiters' eloquent descriptions. In short, a great table, a great view, excellent service, a house wine that got better and better as the evening progressed, and a truly harmonious meal. The house wine had a wonderful nose, with fruit and nuts, which was a bit more understated on the palate, but still good. It complemented the dishes perfectly. The appetizer platter was all very tasty and well-balanced; we shared it. My wife had a pasta dish with squid for her second course, and it was very good. I had the fish of the day on creamed potatoes, and I didn't regret it. It was perfectly prepared and cooked to perfection. ... For dessert, I enjoyed a wonderfully crisp tart with cream and crunchy crumble topping – absolutely delightful and not too heavy. My tiramisu was very light and creamy. I would have liked a bit more of the typical coffee, cocoa, mascarpone, and amaretto flavor. But overall, it was a wonderful evening. I would recommend this restaurant.

29/05/2026: Although the food was good, the waiter was not of the same standard. He didn't ask if the food was tasty, just asked "finished?" He wasn't very friendly. He didn't even ask if we wanted dessert after clearing the plates from the main course. Tip for the owner: freshen up the place, make everything a bit lighter.

18/05/2026: WOW. This was our favorite restaurant in Sorrento! And we tried some of the most popular ones while we were there. I stumbled upon this place walking down the alley and luckily there was a couple eating outside and their food looked and smelled incredible. We went the next night and so glad we did, the service was impeccable, our server Tony kept us laughing all night and kept our wine glasses full. The burrata was the creamiest I’ve had in my life and their vegetables come straight from their farm. The lobster with linguine was perfectly Al dente and so tasty. I can’t believe this place wasn’t packed, it was so calm compared to some of the other restaurants in Sorrento. Forget the places with the hype and crowds and come here for a better meal and experience.

04/07/2026: CantiNando What a beautiful place! I dined here two evenings with my family because one wasn't enough. Excellent dishes—meat, fish, and desserts—prepared with passion and the freshest ingredients. The owner is incredibly kind, and his kitchen staff is always smiling. And the dining room is staffed by a fabulous couple. They're extremely kind and welcoming, attentive to their customers, and friendly. It's a shame it's so far from where we live.

The food, needless to say, was fantastic: every course had something special while remaining true to tradition, incredible flavors, and truly impeccable service. The restaurant itself is also beautiful. We arrived late due to a taxi strike, but they waited for us without a problem and, in the end, even took care of finding us a ride home. Fantastic people, truly. But beyond the excellent quality, what struck us most was how they managed to make both my grandmother and I feel at home, almost like family—and that wasn't at all a given, considering this was an experience so far removed from our everyday lives. Our deepest congratulations and warmest regards, hoping to see you again soon.

So, no surprise that the finest take on Neapolitan cuisine is waiting for you in Pompei. The "President" restaurant (or should I say its charming couple of owners) offers you exquisite service, respectable hospitality, and a thoughtful tasting menu. It combines the chef's mastery, curiosity, and erudition into a highly cohesive adventure through classic and modern, domestic and foreign, traditional and progressive. The noteworthy work with aromas and aftertastes is continued by a versatile and nuanced (both non-alcoholic and vine) pairing. This detour, made specifically for that place, is not only extremely justified by delicious food and care of hosts, but easily could overshadow the epic historical landmark placed within walking distance from this restaurant.

12/06/2026: During our visit to Sorrento, we ate at this highly-rated restaurant. Unfortunately, the dish my wife ordered (spaghetti vongole) was quite good, but the pasta was really undercooked. I know what Italian al dante means, but this was almost crunchy. I had pasta bolognese, which was cooked, but the sauce was rather bland. Furthermore, the menu doesn't mention the cover charge of €3 per person.

From our first meeting, we were greeted with great professionalism, but above all with a rare human warmth, as if we were part of their family. The organization was impeccable in every aspect: from welcoming our guests to managing food intolerances, every detail was taken care of with care and precision. The directors, Ennio and Giuseppe, guided us through every decision, always offering the best advice with expertise and availability. During the wedding day, Angelo and Giusy were extraordinary: true points of reference, capable of coordinating everything from start to finish and promptly managing even small unexpected events. The cuisine was simply exceptional: dishes carefully crafted in both flavor and presentation, everything truly delicious and appreciated by all our guests. A special thanks also to Vanna, always available and ready to help us with the organizational phase, responding to our every need with kindness and punctuality.
