The Fork
Their portions are a joke, and tourist rip off. They charge you 2.5 Euros each for stale breads. Same for tap water. Nothing we ate tasted good, prefer somewhere else if you can

We came to Trattoria San Fernando by chance because it was raining hard and all the other places were full. The staff were welcoming and spoke effectively in both Italian and English. The food was exceptional for the price and we will return next time in Naples.

Excellent Neapolitan trattoria in the Piazza Plebiscito / via Toledo area. I had pasta with cuttlefish, olives and capers as a first course and grilled anchovies as a second course. Everything was excellent, especially the first course. The glass of Greco was also good, although I found it small in quantity. Friendly and unobtrusive service in a nice venue.

Very good food, mostly fish. Precise and fast service. We were late but they kept the table for us without problems and there were 9 of us. Fair prices.

In pieno centro, questa piccola trattoria tipica offre un buon servizio, un ambiente curato, una buona lista dei vini e un cibo saporito. Abbiamo apprezzato le fritture, la pasta e patate, il filetto, le polpette e le verdure, mentre ci hanno deluso la pasta alla genovese e soprattuto i dolci. La carta dei vini offre varie opzioni fra cui anche qualcuna di pregio.

Locale piccolo e curato dove ho avuto una sensazione piacevole che è stata quella di stare in famiglia come un tempo era con i nonni tutti insieme in una giornata tipica e unica Napoletana. Cibo di buona qualità ho trovato super le polpette ma tutto davvero buono. Personale gentile e disponibile. Grazie davvero per la giornata che mi avete regalato. Consigliatissimo.

04/11/2023: We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was magical! The amenities were fantastic and the staff were SO friendly and helpful. We had a lot of questions about the city, the bus system, and an early check out and they always had an answer and were so wonderful. I was also sick at one point and they called in their doctor early to have a special appointment. The spa services were to DIE for, and the pools were all amazing!! This was the PERFECT place to stay in Ischia and on our honeymoon. The food and service in the restaurant was also spectacular. Would highly recommend!!
28/09/2023: This place was unbelievable! Hands down one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Food/Service were excellent. The spa was gorgeous and the pools were second to none! Highly recommend this place.

Il Buco

05/04/2024: Me and my partner had the 10 course tasting menu. As someone who has previously eaten at the Eiffel tower and the Shard, I genuinely cannot describe how absolutely amazing the food was in comparison. The staff was brilliant too, as they were very attentive and we didn't feel pressured at all into leaving quickly, even though our long menu did make us leave after the opening hours. They even helped us to get a taxi and we got to try the chef's own limoncello, which was absolutely brilliant. This is definitely a place I would come back to. It was the best meal and experience I've ever had.
05/04/2024: Just experienced the gran tasting menu of Il Buco with the wine pairing. Can easily say it is the best meal either of us have ever had, and the staff were exemplary. At regular points not only did the waiters, but the head chef himself came to check on us. The food itself was to the highest standard. With the wine it carried us through a journey all over Italy - particular highlights were the gnocchi, fish tartar and the deserts.
