21/08/2025: I've been going to this restaurant for years and it's never disappointed! A garden in the heart of Vomero, with lovely interiors, good service, excellent pizza, generous portions, and fair prices.

09/09/2025: We ate both seafood and meat dishes, both impeccable. The location with a view of the less spectacular lacquer mushroom is highly recommended.

08/09/2025: Definitely not recommended! I ordered two dishes: red shrimp and mixed salad. I was served rotten shrimp! I returned the dish. After I finished the salad and went to pay, the waitress called a man who said they were making new shrimp and it would only take two minutes. I waited. Instead of red shrimp, I got regular ones from the freezer. When I asked what was going on, I ordered red shrimp. The answer was, it's just a different variety. The bill was for red shrimp, which was twice as expensive. Conclusion: Stay away from this restaurant. Rotten products and a rip-off!

05/09/2025: The seafood linguine was excellent, along with good coffee and homemade limoncello made by a guy from Pozzuoli. The service was attentive and very friendly, and the atmosphere was family-friendly. If I go back to Pozzuoli next time, I know where to eat. :)

16/06/2025: Mystical experience, ok organization, packed room, small tables barely fit the pizza plates, tables for 6 but adapted for 8, the pizza was very cooked and another one tasted very rubbery

19/08/2025: I went to dinner with my girlfriend and her family at "Da Umberto." It all happened by chance. We ordered two Cokes, two waters, and half a bottle of Ischia white wine. For appetizers, we had fried shrimp and calamari and vegetarian bruschetta. Both served just enough for five people. The fried sea bream was crispy, and you could tell it was fresh. We then ordered spaghetti with clams, deliciously spicy just right, with parsley and a generous amount of clams. A very light and fluffy pizza. Last but not least, three bucatini pasta with mussels and pecorino cheese, which I've always been reluctant to try. For the first time, I wanted to try this typical Neapolitan recipe. I made the decision after reading the reviews, and to this day, I don't think I'll ever try this dish anywhere else because I'll never find anything this good! Huge and delicious mussels with an intense flavor, perfectly cooked bucatini, and just the right amount of pecorino cheese that made everything perfectly balanced. The staff was superb, both in the dining room and the kitchen, as everything arrived on time. They also gave us tips on how to visit the beautiful places on Ischia. I'd add that I'm from the South and now live in the North, but when I find myself in places like this, I know how much potential there is in our region. Thanks for everything, I'd go back any day for my first cozze e pepe.

19/08/2025: We went for dinner and had grilled octopus with potatoes, green beans, and tomatoes, tuna tartare with zucchini scapece, accompanied by scampi and red shrimp, and finally tuna ziti Genovese. Every course tasted incredible. It was a true experience. During our vacation, we tried a lot of local restaurants, and this one definitely ranks among the top ones! Definitely worth a try!

14/08/2025: Given that we had a reservation for two at 10:30 PM and waited 25 minutes outside before being seated, After we were seated, no one came over to bring water or menus, much less take our order, until we asked for it ourselves after another 20 minutes. Regarding the quality of the food, it was good, but the price was ridiculously high.

03/09/2025: Extremely overpriced, mediocre food at best with very small portions and stale bread on the table. Even the olive oil wasn't of good quality (which I would say is a sin in Italy).

07/08/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant with its private beach by chance and were made very welcome. The fresh pasta is excellent, and the fried anchovies and baby squid are a real treat. We spent the afternoon on the deckchairs, which are inexpensive compared to other private beaches (€25 for two deckchairs and umbrellas). The view is magnificent, the location is peaceful, and the water is crystal clear 😍

27/07/2025: Upon our arrival, we were not greeted by the staff, who simply stared at us from a distance. Furthermore, the menu offered did not match the menu.

04/09/2025: I can only say that it is with immense regret that I have to give such a terrible review!! I'm sorry because Sale e Pepe was history for me!! I went there as a girl and always ate well, but the last two times not only were they lacking in courtesy but we ate little (I'm talking about portions) and badly, making a terrible impression on the group of friends I brought. The last time (it should be noted that I had booked for 10 pm and they assured me it wasn't a problem) they didn't even want to give us dessert, telling us they had run out (which is absolutely not true!!)

04/09/2025: We were at this restaurant tonight... I personally went there a few years ago and found it impeccable, and it still is today... There were eight of us at the table, and no one complained about anything; in fact, everyone ate well... The waiters really make you feel at home... Trust the valet outside because he's part of the restaurant, so you can leave your car keys and eat in peace... I highly recommend this restaurant... 🔝

15/08/2025: We went to the Tortuga restaurant at the port of Baia. We had a great meal; the place is beautiful and well-maintained. The service was excellent, and the customer service was excellent. The owner, Antonio, is a truly lovely person; I highly recommend going.

14/08/2025: We arrived at 1:00 PM. We pulled over to enter the parking lot because we wanted to eat at the restaurant and spend a half day at the beach, but the parking guy wouldn't let us in. He told us the parking was for the lido, to which we replied, "Yes, we want to go to the lido on Saturday." He told us he didn't have any space, which was understandable at a certain time, so no problem. We were about to leave and two cars pulled out of the parking lot. So we tried again and were yelled at, "Don't have a parking spot!" "I don't care" and he closes the gray gate halfway in our faces. Shocked by the unjustified way we were treated, we backed up and at the same moment two cars arrived. The "gentleman" let them in without even asking if they had booked, he just let them in!!! At which point we looked at him from the car and he closed the gate in our faces. They weren't staff cars entering; we clearly saw people dressed up for the beach. Parking is your calling card for those who don't know you. I strongly recommend hiring qualified staff who can at least speak Italian. Also, if you wanted to try to recruit, try hiring people with a certain composure and presence, not a "gentleman," if that's what he can be called based on his way of treating potential customers, a middle-aged man in a dirty white tank top and a visible belly. We are two different people; we've never been treated like dirt for no reason. We can't express an opinion on the beach services; unfortunately, we had to take our money elsewhere. I would also like to remind everyone that we don't We're in Capri (and even there they've never treated us with this arrogance and condescension) so maybe leave the snobbishness at home and don't take it to work.

09/08/2025: I was there on Monday, August 26th. The beach was not crowded, with limited space for both deck chairs and umbrellas. This isn't a problem because it's quiet and there's no chaos. (A sunbed costs €10.) The owner is kind and friendly, allowing families and quiet people access, not rowdy kids. Bringing food or coolers from home is allowed (note: coolers are allowed, but rigid coolers are NOT). The restaurant area is well-maintained, clean, and reasonably priced. A grilled sandwich costs €7, penne pasta €5, and chips €5. There's a relaxation area with sofas, perfect for relaxing in the shade after eating. There's a shower, but I found the hot one to be out of order. There's covered, secure parking right in front of the beach (€10). The sea has a sandy bottom, and is fairly clear. Definitely recommended. Edit After a week...hot shower fixed

01/06/2025: Hemos estado regresando a este restaurante durante 6 años, la comida es increíble. Beppe es un anfitrión fantástico, muy profesional como todo el personal. Está muy bien situado con vistas impresionantes. Es uno de los favoritos para la gente local, lo que siempre es una buena señal. Nos presentaron este restaurante y Beppe hace años por nuestro buen amigo Luigi y nos reunimos con él y otros amigos cada vez que volvemos a Seiano. No te decepcionará si visitas este lugar, es uno de los mejores! También prueba su Limoncello casero, es precioso 🥂. Gracias Beppe, nos vemos pronto. Stephen y Julie.
