24/02/2026: Here we are. We were there for lunch with about ten people. The seafood scialatello was a truly well-made and delicious dish. A great place to try, excellent fish.

03/10/2025: My husband and I were welcomed for lunch one Sunday—and I say welcomed because it was 2 PM—during our wanderings to get lunch!! And we couldn't have had better luck! We ate wonderfully, the fish was delicious, and the staff was super helpful and knowledgeable in presenting the dishes to us... And last but not least, I love desserts, but I'm often a little disappointed, so I had an excellent dessert after dinner!! Go there!!!

04/09/2025: Posillipo is a very beautiful place for swimming, but it's inconvenient for the elderly and disabled to go down, and then extremely difficult to go back up if you're no longer very young. You can only go there with a towel and slippers without carrying unnecessary weight. There are no elevators or freight elevators, and parking nearby is impossible; you have to walk or use a scooter or take a taxi.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati al Ristorante Da Filippo in occasione di una cena. Posto leggermente affollato ma personale efficiente nei tempi di attesa. Abbiamo ordinato un primo piatto, due tagliate di carne e un dolce. Prezzi modici per la qualità del posto e del cibo, inoltre le porzioni erano adeguate ne abbondanti né insufficienti. Che dir si voglia, ma non che non abbia rispettato le nostre aspettative. Citando un noto poeta: “fu tzoppu beddu stu manciari sangò”.

25/02/2026: Terrible Entrance right in the middle of a construction site without using temporary partitions to promote the location and the view: before reaching the dining room, we walked among rubble and plastic bags. Food: Appetizer: bland clam soute Salmon, octopus, and shrimp trio: the salmon was decent, but both the octopus and shrimp were bland and very defrosted on a bed of stale lettuce. First courses: Lemon risotto, overflowing with cream and butter, arrived cold (I imagine it was prepared that morning and then reheated roughly before being brought to the table). Spaghetti with clams: the clams were full of sand, and the pasta was overcooked and "rinsed" in tomatoes. We asked to speak to the owner, who initially introduced himself as such but then reconsidered his role and, in any case, refused to come to the table. At the payment stage, we explained everything in detail, and the response was: Madam, this restaurant is obviously not for "you," they don't even know the formal "lei"! Strongly not recommended! The food is truly awful!

10/12/2025: Il Mediterraneo isn't just a restaurant, it's also home! Freshness and quality are the two qualities that set them apart from the rest. Coming back here is always a joy...I highly recommend it to everyone! PS. The grilled octopus with stracciata and broccoli, spaghetti with clams, and grilled fish are SUPERB!!!

16/03/2026: Yesterday we chose Ristorante Da Mimì for a truly special evening: to celebrate the great champion Nando De Napoli, who began his career in Avellino before shining in Naples, Milan, and with the Italian national team. A choice that proved to be worthy of his true champion style. The gastronomic experience was impeccable. From appetizers to first courses, every dish was a small masterpiece: authentic flavors, excellent ingredients, and the care that only those who truly love cooking can convey. Special praise goes to chef Raffaele, son of founder Mimì, who with professionalism and passion fulfilled our every desire. Attentive, attentive, never intrusive: a true host. The family atmosphere, the quality of the dishes, and the courtesy of the staff make Da Mimì a place we always want to return to. And indeed... we will return.

31/10/2025: If you're in the area, stop by to try the seafood spaghetti or the pasta e fagioli with mussels, featuring the characteristic Controne beans. For the main course, the always fresh fried mixed seafood. In the summer, finish with Evelin's homemade gelato. And to finish, a glass of melannurco! If you sit outside, you'll enjoy a fantastic sea view of Arena Bay and Punta Licosa. All without spending too much.

18/02/2026: I've been there many times, starting in the '80s. It was excellent then and it's even better now. Excellent first and second courses, even better pizza, authentic side dishes and appetizers, with typical and mostly local products. Congratulations to everyone, the owners first and foremost and all the employees...well done!!!

21/02/2026: They recommended this place to us...and we went! We had an average meal...I can't say I said "wow"... A pasta and beans dish with some seafood here costs 22 euros...It's not a question of price...But for 22 euros...the dish should be bursting with seafood...but that wasn't the case...A first course in a good restaurant costs 14 euros...18 at most...But 22 euros seemed expensive for what I got! I shared an appetizer with a colleague of mine...Which included a small bowl of clams...a small fried dish that wasn't hot...an octopus and that's it...It seems a bit paltry for a seafood place and an appetizer! We added a portion of grilled razor clams off the appetizer menu...I can't say anything good...except that we paid for them separately off the menu and not in an appetizer! We didn't order anything else...because with a bottle of wine and a bottle of water...We came to 130 euros for two! I've been to other seaside resorts, whether it's Molise, Abruzzo, or Puglia, but I haven't found anything that would make me want to return! Maybe because we're not local, we were treated differently? I don't know, but I won't be returning! We need to be more honest. It's not about price. But without quantity, it becomes a question of price.

20/02/2026: I visited Panibottle after watching a YouTube video, and the verdict was absolutely delicious. The seafood was exceptionally fresh, and while it's pricier than typical restaurants, it's well worth the price. Of the five restaurants I've tried in Naples, this is my top pick! The pasta with various shrimp and tomatoes is the best.

29/01/2026: Definitely avoid. The food is expensive and tasteless. The service is unconvincing. At the cashier, we discovered there's a cover charge (4 euros per person). The bathrooms (actually beach huts) are awful. We were disappointed.

05/03/2026: Great authentic restaurant with lots of gluten free options. They brought incooked the pasta out to show us the different shapes we could choose from (not just penned!). We has seafood pasta dishes and they were delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.
