08/08/2024: Restaurant not up to the Michelin star it is "supposed" to have. Having arrived on site after an asphyxiating walk, the place is unreachable in any other way, a disabled person would die missing. Disrespectful. Ambiguous location, we were sitting on the terrace with beach umbrellas overlooking the sea, a non-existent or even terrible view, the only thing visible were two plants, not the sea, as expected. To reach the toilets you have to cross the hotel swimming pool which makes everything even more poorly looked after, not to mention the restrooms. Pitiful service, the guys are inexperienced, inhospitable and not very attentive to the care of the guest, so much so that due to the strong wind some entrée breadsticks fell and the response was "I don't believe it" and they were not replaced. Unacceptable. The food is well plated but the combinations between the courses are not right and disturb the palate. The dessert entrée was even served still frozen, it couldn't be cut with a spoon. Bread is the only acceptable souvenir. Gastroesophageal reflux is probably included in this “magnificent” experience. In conclusion I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy, it's not the first starred experience and hands down I can say that there's nothing starry about it. The price is not worth the trip, everything ruined an evening in Capri that could have been pleasant. Be wary of photos and positive reviews.

22/07/2024: Una finestra sul mare. Pranzare con una vista sulla baia è impagabile. Abbiamo gustato un soute di cozze, spaghetti ap pomodoro e spaghetti alle cozze. Tutto molto buono e fresco. Acqua e caffè, prezzo giusto 56 euro in 3. Servizio cordiale

21/07/2024: Location sul mare romantica e molto bella . Servizio cortese e veloce Come antipasti abbiamo mangiato polpo con finocchio, soute di cozze e vongole e alici fritte che erano molto buoni . Come primi invece paccheri pesce spada e peperoncini verdi, scarpariello e spaghetti alle cozze ed era tutto buonissimo . Come dolce pasta filo , croccantino e sorbetto al limone . Anche se con un piattio che volevamo che non c’era ( babà alla mela ) siamo soddisfatti di questa cena.

27/08/2024: This beach was a real pleasant surprise. I didn't know it and had never heard of it but one summer afternoon with my husband and girls we decided to take a dip in the sea and we came across this very pleasant family-run place. very nice well organized great helpfulness kindness from all the staff they also gave us a bit of a discount as we arrived late in the afternoon we were also lucky enough to be able to be put in the front row as the people who were sitting there were leaving the girls were hungry and even though the kitchen was already closed at the bar we still found something to munch on, they also made some excellent drinks and they also have an active beach service. we will definitely return, recommended for families with small children as the beach is a very convenient location on the post office and also well circumscribed

25/08/2024: Reference point for mussel soup and fried seafood. Also excellent as a pizzeria. I didn't have the opportunity to eat a full lunch or dinner but I think they are on the same level. Sometimes you have to wait a bit because, especially in summer, it is almost always full. The only flaw is the toilets, which are poorly maintained and insufficient in my opinion. The staff is always available.

19/07/2024: We had an excellent lunch at this restaurant in Ravello on a Friday in July. We didn't have a reservation, but we were still able to get a table immediately and our table had an incredible view of the coast from the dining room. We enjoyed a delicious and relatively affordable light lunch of seafood and eggplant parmesan with local wine. It was incredibly pleasant atmosphere for a meal. I highly recommend dining here.

14/07/2024: Depuis 28 ans que nous y venons chaque année il était temps de donner un avis. C’est peut être la très inutile sophistication de certains concurrents qui nous y pousse. Ici les pâtes ressemblent à des pâtes et le poisson à du poisson. Et c’est bon! Très bon. ..Depuis 28 ans

18/08/2024: Abbiamo prenotato al secondo turno un tavolo con vista panoramica, fatelo perché ne vale la pena! Vista mozzafiato, cibo ottimo. Il prezzo vale ciò che paghi, se vieni a castellabate non puoi fartelo mancare. Un complimento particolare va a Carmine, penso uno dei camerieri più gentile e professionale che abbiamo mai conosciuto. Torneremo sicuramente!

18/08/2024: Una perla del Cilento ed il migliore di Castllabate. Una vista meravigliosa e pesce squisito. Come antipasto altamente consigliati il polpo ed il Tresino. Come primi linguine all’astice o al nero di seppia e poi ricciola o tonno come secondo. PS se siete attenti all’ingresso troverete una targa storica e legata al film Benvenuti al Sud.

02/08/2024: Nice place, but it was dying from the heat as soon as we finished eating the pizza we ran away we were all sweaty. The pizza isn't bad at all. You can also park your car outside the pizzeria but the valet has imposed a fee of €2 per car so bring some coins😁.

28/07/2024: Not a positive experience. Unqualified and very distracted staff in serving the customer but at the same time if the owner came to check something would change. After half an hour of our arrival we ask for the menu otherwise they wouldn't bring it who knows when it would arrive, we place the order instead of arriving on mixed fried crocchè a pizza called crocchè arrives and also the mixed fried, the pizza as it wasn't ours he takes to the next table, a matriciana arrives which had nothing of matriciana only tomato peels as well as the carbonara which tasted like everything except of carbonara. For the second course 2 fried squids that looked like they were made of plastic and were so hard, without lemon and what's more we asked the owner for lemon who in the meantime was watching and immediately made sure to get it shouting into the kitchen. We pay the bill I complain about the fried calamari getting a discount of 8 euros which of these 8 I leave 5 to eat. I leave the restaurant and the valet asks us for 2 euros for compulsory parking, even though the car was parked on the public street. Once I get home I check the receipt and I find that famous pizza that we hadn't ordered or even used. We have dined in this place several times and eaten well, but after this experience we will never return.

07/08/2024: The dishes served were good but it was not the experience I expected. I didn't like the unprofessional attitude of the owner. We had booked in the afternoon and upon our arrival, although there were other free tables on the terrace which among other things remained free until the end of dinner, he did not want to move us from the table assigned to us. My feeling was of being treated with an air of condescension as if the request there had somehow annoyed me. Sin!

25/07/2024: Dopo vari tentativi siamo finalmente riusciti a trovare posto da Stalino un lunedì. Ho mangiato un ottimo cibo a prezzi contenuti. Assegno ai loro spaghetti alle vongole il mio personale titolo di migliori dell’isola! E dopo aver ben mangiato, quando arriva il conto sarete ancor più felici. Vale l’indispensabile passeggiata (si raggiunge solo a piedi…)

16/07/2024: La taverna ideale sull’isola di Ischia! Non cercate altro qui c’è tutto. Cucina buonissima, di mare e di terra, gentilezza e attenzione agli ospiti. Vincenzo è un padrone di casa meraviglioso e i suoi collaboratori non sono di meno. Oggi a fine pranzo mi sono intrattenuta a conversare con Giovanni che, nonostante il lavoro e la stanchezza, ha ascoltato le mie “chiacchiere”. Ambiente rustico ma curato, ospitalità senza pari e cucina veramente super. Per chi lo ama consiglio il coniglio, veramente sublime, ma anche i frutti di mare e le alici grigliate. Per finire le loro zeppole e il rucolino della casa. Prezzi onesti per quello che offrono. Bravi ragazzi, complimenti! Sono Letizia di Napoli, quella con i tatuaggi ed amica di Pino il milanese!

28/08/2024: Really a stone's throw from the excavations and the center, convenient parking at the back. Themed and well-maintained rooms with everything you need, excellent breakfast in a room on the 4th floor overlooking the excavations. Friendly and helpful staff.

Il personale efficiente e cordiale con Mario e Corrado che sono sempre attenti alle esigenze del cliente. Tornerò sicuramente per gustare i piatti del ristorante e le pizze

30/07/2024: Amazing experience, great tasting food! Good calmari, pasta with tuna, gnocchi and seafood pasta was delicious. Waitress was nice and polite. Food took a bit of time to get ready. Wine was delicious. I recommend!

18/08/2024: Pleasant surprise. Unscheduled dinner in Castellabate on August 17th. Excellent mussel peppered, excellent cavatelli with octopus ragù and truly delicious trofie with mussels, dried tomatoes and goat cheese. We then shared a very delicate squid stuffed with escarole, provola, capers and olives. All accompanied with excellent falanghina. The staff very kind and attentive. A thousand thanks

16/08/2024: A very nice restaurant in Piazza del Belvedere in Castellabate. The first "chef's fantasy" first course was excellent and today included tuna genoise. Friendly staff. Clean place, with a breathtaking view. Medium/high prices.
