04/10/2025: We chose Convivium for our wedding. Stefania and the entire Sporting staff were fabulous. Our day exceeded all expectations. Starting with the food: a large buffet of hot and cold appetizers with various show-cooking stations; throughout the lunch, from starters to main courses, the quantity and quality were excellent; we received nothing but compliments from our guests; and finally, the fruit and dessert buffet was generous with a wide variety of choices, including freshly prepared Nutella crepes. Their meticulous attention to allergies and intolerances is noteworthy, and they were ready to accommodate any need. The maître d', Nicola, Stefania's right-hand man, always made us feel at ease. Along with him, the entire staff is known for their kindness, discretion, and efficiency. A special thanks goes to Stefania, who oversaw the organization of the entire event, demonstrating maximum attention to detail from start to finish. She was with us throughout the day, attentive to our emotions, and always had a solution ready for any request or wish of the newlyweds.

A spectacular calamarata, with seconds, fried fish and calamari, salad, water, wine, and coffee for €15 per person! I was shocked by the value for money.... Definitely worth returning.

07/09/2025: Good morning, I'm writing as a regular customer at the beach club, referring to Ms. Ornella's review, which I carefully read. By pure coincidence, I was present during the Ferragosto lunch in the pine forest. I read your review and, while I understand your disappointment, I'd like to comment simply to share my perception of the incident you mentioned. I also witnessed the scene, but honestly, it didn't seem that serious: the middle-aged gentleman—a member of the staff—was calmly giving the young man directions, without shouting or cursing. In fact, it seemed to me that the young man wasn't acting appropriately toward the gentleman. Of course, everyone's perspective is different, but I felt it was right to share another perspective, with the utmost calm and with the sole purpose of clarifying the situation.

15/02/2026: Disappointing Valentine's Day Dinner for Couples Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. Although the location was beautiful and the service was courteous, the food didn't live up to our expectations. The appetizers were bland and clearly not fresh; the hot dishes weren't cooked to order. This didn't leave a good impression. The fish didn't seem fresh, and the preparation of the dishes left much to be desired. We ordered two portions of spaghetti with clams for starters, but the amount of pasta (we ended up with a chitarrina) was decidedly small, while the clams were plentiful. And, worse still, they had no flavor at all. The house wine was poor. The highlights of the dinner were the sorbet and the dessert cake, which were truly delicious. We were disappointed, especially since my partner had visited the restaurant before and had a different experience. We were hoping for a satisfying dinner, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I'm sorry to have to leave a negative review, but I think it's important to report it so that customers can be treated with respect (we felt cheated, given the price of the dishes) and so that the food is prepared with more care and attention.

The second courses are also worth a mention: the grilled fish is impeccable, as is the fried fish, cooked just right to preserve tenderness and enhance the raw ingredients. The service is quick, coordinated, and courteous. The staff maintains a familiar yet professional tone, making guests feel welcomed, not simply served. It's clear that there's passion and consistency here: each visit confirms the previous one, without a drop in quality or attention. The quality-price ratio is fair, especially considering the location and the freshness of the ingredients. The well-constructed wine list also offers choices to complement every dish, with a predominance of labels from Abruzzo and Campania, perfect for pairing with seafood. In short: Ristorante Positano is a must-visit for those seeking a genuine, consistent, and high-quality seafood experience in Pescara.
