15/01/2025: Locale molto carino, personale cortese e disponibile. Ci sono stato a cena varie volte e il menù di pesce dello chef è sempre top… anche la pizza è molto buona!! Lo consiglio vivamente

We were served by Carmine 🔝 not to mention the other equally good and helpful collaborators! ... welcoming environment and above all full of life ... especially in an evening enlivened by live music which they often make available to us!

10/11/2024: Unieke ervaring om te lunchen op een trabocco, voormalige visinstallatie boven de zee. In veruit de meeste zit tegenwoordig een restaurant, maar deze is niet alleen prachtig gelegen (geen doorgaande weg of fietspad te zien), maar ook het eten is hier bijzonder goed. Het vaste lunchmenu bestaat al allerlei vis, schaal- en schelpdieren en wordt in een prettig tempo geserveerd. Reken op minstens 3 uur voor de lunch. De bediening is uiterst vriendelijk. Reserveren noodzakelijk. Toiletten op het vasteland zijn bereikbaar via de loopbrug. Er is een prive parkeerplaats bij het restaurant. Er is ook een pittoresk klein strandje direct voor de trabocco.

28/10/2024: Tuvimos una excelente comida a la hora del almuerzo en Trabocco Punta Cavalluccio un sábado a finales de septiembre. La ubicación, el ambiente, la calidad de la comida y el servicio fueron un punto culminante de nuestras vacaciones italianas. Tuvimos algunos retrasos de tráfico en nuestro viaje y llegamos tarde para nuestra reserva. Sin embargo, nos sentamos rápida y amablemente en una mesa que miraba a la orilla y el océano. La comida que llegó durante las siguientes dos horas era fresca, perfectamente cocinada, maravillosamente sabrosa, y extraordinaria en su cantidad. En total teníamos 13 mariscos diferentes, servidos tanto de manera tradicional como no tradicional. Me encanta el vongole italiano. Los que llegaron fueron de los mejores que he tenido - extremadamente pequeño y dulce. Las otras porciones fueron igualmente buenas. Apreciamos que éramos los únicos estadounidenses allí ese día. Dos grandes familias italianas estaban celebrando cumpleaños - prestando a un ambiente verdaderamente alegre. . Fue ruidoso, estridente en el buen sentido y tremendamente divertido. Cuando llegó nuestra factura le señalé a nuestro servidor que pensé que se había olvidado de incluir nuestras copas de vino en la factura. ¡Indicó que estaban incluidos en el precio de la comida! Tuvimos varias comidas mientras estábamos en Italia que eran cerca de $ 200 euros por persona. Ninguno era tan bueno como este y para 60 euros por persona esto era una ganga extraordinaria. La experiencia de Trabocco es imperdible y nuestra visita a Trabocco Punta Cavalluccio no será olvidada.

05/03/2025: Magnificent lunch! A killer fish broth not to mention the seared octopus: a poetry of flavours. I highly recommend! And to digest a nice walk with a view of the castle in front of the restaurant!

23/03/2025: Very slow service, hot appetizers with little fish, miserable quantities even in relation to the prices, 4 paccheri with very little fish and generally not high quality, the dishes did not taste of the sea. In addition we had ordered paccheri with amberjack but they arrived with shrimp without even warning us..bah

03/01/2025: We felt at home, the owner's son was very kind and very helpful. I ate a spectacular cheese. I'd like to point out that I'm not a cheese lover but theirs was delicious. As I don't eat meat they were careful to recommend anything else, I will gladly return.

11/11/2024: A true hidden gem! The Calimera restaurant is an authentic paradise for fish lovers. Dishes with fresh fish that delight the palate, with unusual and tasty combinations. The environment is welcoming and the dining room staff are helpful, the service is excellent. It was an amazing dining experience that I can't wait to repeat.

01/12/2024: Siamo tornati a l’Osteria della Loggia dopo una splendida esperienza la scorsa estate, ma purtroppo questa volta è stata una grande delusione. La scorsa estate avevamo trovato cibo eccezionale e un servizio impeccabile, tanto da volerci tornare con grandi aspettative. Purtroppo, però, la serata non è andata come speravamo. Il pesce che ci è stato servito aveva un odore molto sgradevole e una consistenza che lasciava chiaramente intendere che non fosse affatto fresco. Quando abbiamo fatto notare il problema, il proprietario si è avvicinato al nostro tavolo con un atteggiamento sbrigativo, affermando senza mezzi termini che il pesce era perfetto. È stato frustrante sentirsi liquidati così, nonostante fosse evidente che qualcosa non andasse. Inoltre, il servizio è stato molto lento: abbiamo dovuto aspettare parecchio per ogni portata. A peggiorare il tutto, il prezzo è stato incredibilmente salato rispetto a ciò che abbiamo ordinato. Solo un antipasto di crudi per cinque persone, due antipasti normali e un assaggio di risotto ci sono costati la modica cifra di 350€. Considerando la qualità del cibo e il servizio, è stato davvero eccessivo. È davvero un peccato, perché avevamo un ricordo fantastico di questo posto. Speriamo che sia stato solo un episodio sfortunato, ma di certo non torneremo.

01/12/2024: We returned to Osteria della Loggia after a wonderful experience last summer, but unfortunately this time it was a big disappointment. Last summer we found exceptional food and impeccable service, so much so that we wanted to return with high expectations. Unfortunately, however, the evening did not go as we hoped. The fish that was served to us had a very unpleasant smell and a texture that clearly suggested that it was not fresh at all. When we pointed out the problem, the owner approached our table with a dismissive attitude, bluntly stating that the fish was perfect. It was frustrating to feel dismissed like this, even though it was clear that something was wrong. Furthermore, the service was very slow: we had to wait a long time for each course. To make matters worse, the price was incredibly high compared to what we ordered. Just a starter of raw meats for five people, two normal starters and a taste of risotto cost us the modest sum of €350. Considering the quality of the food and the service, it was really excessive. It's really a shame, because we had fantastic memories of this place. Hopefully it was just an unfortunate episode, but we certainly won't be returning.

24/12/2024: Siamo venuti in famiglia, siamo stati accolti e fatti sedere al nostro tavolo.. abbiamo prenotato ed il cibo è arrivato velocemente, un ottima bottiglia di vino e siamo partiti in questa avventura culinaria.. Antipasto completo di pesce crudo , freddo e caldo, abbondante e delizioso escluso nessuna pietanza.. linguina scoglio , risotto di mare, frittura mista , tartare di tonno e per uno di noi che non mangia pesce hanno preparato alternativa.. Tutto deliziosamente cucinato ma soprattutto il crudo che io Amo.. TORNEREMO SICURAMENTE

01/10/2024: Micchele e la sua cucina non hanno bisogno della nostra recensione che già ne ha tantissime di positive, ma noi vogliamo comunque elogiare la loro paranza davvero fritta bene e ricca. Bel posto a Vasto porto con il mare davanti. Buonissima anche l’accoglienza e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

08/09/2024: Questo ristorante si trova nella zona di Vasto in Abruzzo ed è raggiungibile a mio avviso solo in auto . Ci è stato consigliato dall’hotel dove abbiamo alloggiato durante le vacanze estive , ma non ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Credo che sia a gestione familiare , ma su 3 camerieri che c’erano quel giorno il meno professionale l’abbiamo beccato noi . Alla mia domanda se un piatto contenesse panna o besciamella, la sua risposta è stata “ che ne so , mica cucino io “ e non si è principato di andare a chiedere , in più ha avuto tante mancanze durante il servizio e per pigrizia ci ha elencato solo alcuni dei dolci che avevano a confronto di altri che il suo collega aveva consigliato al tavolo affianco . Primi piatti poco saporiti soprattutto le vongole , però il pesce era fresco , anche se sono rimasto deluso che non c’erano le cozze quel giorno ( giovedì ) . Ambiente informale. Se non siete troppo esigenti può andare bene , ma comunque la media a testa è di 40€.

22/02/2025: A restaurant in the center of Ortona that boasts an enviable sea view. We were pleasantly welcomed and accompanied to the table. The mise en plase was essential and sober. I was impressed by the dishes we tasted, which did not cover the flavor of the fish but rather enhanced it. For the second course, a portion of skate as a gift rating a nice 10. The chef combined oriental flavors with local flavors and the presentation was enviable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
