30/11/2024: Fantastica serata, staff gentilissimi, otto posto, tutto veramente molto buono. Da ritornare.consiglio per tutti.

12/10/2024: Poche righe per spiegare: i calici di vino cerasuolo, erano a temperatura ambiente, chiedo di cambiare calice e vino, anche altro vino, basta sia freddo, la cameriera torna dopo 30 secondi e il vino è lo stesso alla stessa temperatura. ( questo già avrebbe dovuto farmi alzare ed andare via, ma non volevo rovinare la serata a chi stava con me).Premetto che quando faccio notare che non era freddo, mi dice: vuole del ghiaccio? La domanda si commenta da sola. Comunque, visto che ero in compagnia e non volevo inalberarmi, quando mi riporta lo stesso vino alla stessa temperatura, chiedo dopo il primo sorso anche il ghiaccio…frittura di pesce unta, e anche qui: frittura di pesce, ma oltre la metà del piatto era insalata e verdure fritte. Mah. Non commento gli altri piatti presi, basta quanto sopra, ma aggiungo che x fare ristorazione ci vuole amore. Mi dispiace ma, cercherò altro posto dove cenare la prossima volta.

25/06/2024: I came to Cepagatti during my summer holidays, specifically to visit this splendid work. I had already browsed through some photos, but obviously being able to see it in person was a much greater emotion. It is an ancient building, built on the remains of an important Roman villa, which was built and modified in several periods, from 1600 to 1800. What is immediately striking is first of all the extraordinary level of conservation of each architectural element: the body central part of the castle, the dominant tower and the adjacent chapel as well as the arches, the characteristic battlements and the balconies. An unmistakable distinctive sign of this building, although not very relevant from an artistic point of view, is the decoration in the upper part, made with sequential circles of different colours. Passing in front of the facade and going around the ancient complex, it seems to be in the period of greatest splendor of the town, well represented by the numerous murals on the walls of the surrounding houses. Probably few know this beautiful village and unfortunately having little consideration for a town that does not possess a high number of historical elements is a sadly common curse and many truly magnificent places risk often being overshadowed; this is why we must have particular admiration for those who possess the patience and dedication in valorising these precious historical-cultural heritages. Given the notable proximity (the people of Pescara don't mind me, given the well-known archaic rivalry...), you can also consider visiting Chieti, a city rich in history. I only have one modest negative consideration to make: unfortunately some trees severely limit the view of the castle, right on the side of the main facade and it would therefore be appropriate to remove them or at least prune them radically (thousands of them are cut down, everywhere and for no reason and wanting to leave these right here in front intact would not be ideal). I hope to be able to visit this magnificent building also inside, which is not yet possible at the moment but overall I was very satisfied with this discovery.

10/11/2024: Unieke ervaring om te lunchen op een trabocco, voormalige visinstallatie boven de zee. In veruit de meeste zit tegenwoordig een restaurant, maar deze is niet alleen prachtig gelegen (geen doorgaande weg of fietspad te zien), maar ook het eten is hier bijzonder goed. Het vaste lunchmenu bestaat al allerlei vis, schaal- en schelpdieren en wordt in een prettig tempo geserveerd. Reken op minstens 3 uur voor de lunch. De bediening is uiterst vriendelijk. Reserveren noodzakelijk. Toiletten op het vasteland zijn bereikbaar via de loopbrug. Er is een prive parkeerplaats bij het restaurant. Er is ook een pittoresk klein strandje direct voor de trabocco.

28/10/2024: Tuvimos una excelente comida a la hora del almuerzo en Trabocco Punta Cavalluccio un sábado a finales de septiembre. La ubicación, el ambiente, la calidad de la comida y el servicio fueron un punto culminante de nuestras vacaciones italianas. Tuvimos algunos retrasos de tráfico en nuestro viaje y llegamos tarde para nuestra reserva. Sin embargo, nos sentamos rápida y amablemente en una mesa que miraba a la orilla y el océano. La comida que llegó durante las siguientes dos horas era fresca, perfectamente cocinada, maravillosamente sabrosa, y extraordinaria en su cantidad. En total teníamos 13 mariscos diferentes, servidos tanto de manera tradicional como no tradicional. Me encanta el vongole italiano. Los que llegaron fueron de los mejores que he tenido - extremadamente pequeño y dulce. Las otras porciones fueron igualmente buenas. Apreciamos que éramos los únicos estadounidenses allí ese día. Dos grandes familias italianas estaban celebrando cumpleaños - prestando a un ambiente verdaderamente alegre. . Fue ruidoso, estridente en el buen sentido y tremendamente divertido. Cuando llegó nuestra factura le señalé a nuestro servidor que pensé que se había olvidado de incluir nuestras copas de vino en la factura. ¡Indicó que estaban incluidos en el precio de la comida! Tuvimos varias comidas mientras estábamos en Italia que eran cerca de $ 200 euros por persona. Ninguno era tan bueno como este y para 60 euros por persona esto era una ganga extraordinaria. La experiencia de Trabocco es imperdible y nuestra visita a Trabocco Punta Cavalluccio no será olvidada.

30/06/2024: Sublime! Eravamo lì di passaggio e ci siamo fermati perché incuriositi dal nome e quindi dalla cucina tradizionale. Accoglienza impeccabile! credetemi quei piatti sono stati un'esperienza divina per la gola e per l'anima! Non perdete l'occasione di emozionarvi assaggiando un piatto della tradizione!

08/06/2024: I ate the cod-based menu on Friday. Good appetizers, but in the pasta you had to look for the cod with the lantern, there was very little of it, but when you found it I must say it was good. The cod with potatoes and the one with tomato are appreciable and tasty.

12/10/2024: You can eat both on site and take away large portions, at €7 per portion. In the summer there is a lot of queuing to do. This summer it dropped a bit unlike last year. The staff at the counter were not up to handling the situation, Put two kids in the mix there, and the portions were smaller than last year.

12/07/2024: Non è la prima volta che vengo in questo posto. Confermo quello che ho sempre pensato. Hanno una veranda esterna con vista sul Molo di Gualdo e i suoi trabocchetti, molto caratteristico. Affittano anche bici e monopattini con la simpatica opzione Cestino in bici. Belle opere d’arte all’interno. Cucina semplice, fresca e buona. Carta dei vini giusta con prodotti del territorio. Servizio cordiale.

12/07/2024: Posate e tovaglioli depositate in un piatto a centro tavola, stile self service (oltretutto sporchine). 2 pinse bruciacchiate al posto delle pizze ordinate. Invece dell'acqua frizzante ordinata, una bottiglia di acqua liscia e con un retrogusto sgradevole. Prezzo equo, ma con pochi spicci in più si può mangiare bene da altre parti. Auguro al titolare di migliorare, per lui e per il buon nome della località.

25/10/2024: The lobster had to be the blue one while it was totally farmed... The San Pietro was not the best and the starters were all served cold. I give one star because zero is not possible. I don't recommend it

20/10/2024: Ristorante con pesce dove è tutto fresco con cucina semplice ma ottima. Gentilezza e simpatia del personale. Sopra il bancone del bar ho notato delle belle litografie di Migneco degli anni 80 che fissano il tempo anche a tutto il locale, ma alla fine va bene così. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

04/08/2024: The fish is very fresh and cooked very well with just a few sauces. Excellent service... shame about the waiter's poor interpersonal skills. The bill was slightly salty.....but considering the freshness of the catch...I would say in line with what we ate.
