04/06/2025: The pizzeria is located in a pleasant square (Piazza Cavour) near the old town centre. There's shade from a large fig tree on the terrace. My pizza was good size and tasty, but the base was a bit doughy, hard to cut at the edges. Service was swift - my house wine came immediately and the pizza only took 5 minutes. There was a cover charge, I don't know what was covered! Wine and pizza cost 18.50 euros. Nice enough eatery for a quick lunch, food was OK, pleasant ambience; service very good.

19/06/2025: An average restaurant in a small alley. The pizzas lack a bit of flair! The pasta was OK, the prices were OK; a bottle of SP water costs €4, a Coke costs €5, and that's not right! But it's a good place to stop in a hurry if everything else is busy!

31/05/2025: Ci siamo seduti pensando di fare un pranzo frugale, abbiamo preso un'insalata di polpo da condividere e due primi bigoli con le sarde e gnocchi mazzancolle e tartufo. Tutto davvero ottimo. Servizio molto attento e disponibile.

28/05/2025: Ristorante fronte lago sotto un delizioso pergolato. Menù non molto ampio, noi abbiamo preso due buoni antipasti di pesce e due primi, gnocchetti scampi e tartufo ottimi e mezze maniche. Apprezzato anche il menù bambini! Locale molto accogliente, personale super gentile e disponibile. Prezzi giusti, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Assolutamente consigliato!

03/02/2025: Perfetto per ogni occasione accogliente pulito atmosfera calda siamo stati benissimo servizio eccellente i vini erano molto buoni non ci è mancato nulla.... per non parlare del cibo tutto genuino curato servito con piatti caldi il guancialino cotto nel vino... il pane caldo....salumi....i primi squisiti grande cuoca cucina genuina saporita e leggera....dolci 10 lode rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Che dire..... torneremo sempre come facciamo da anni peccato abitare Lontani!!! Adoro

27/05/2025: Today I encountered a very unpleasant situation in this restaurant. When ordering 7 grilled shrimps for 26 euros, the waiter asked if I wanted them with garlic. He did not inform me that garlic was an additional charge. There was no such information in the menu either. To me, it is funny and very weak that a restaurant shamelessly rips off customers in this way. The price for the dish was exorbitant and an ingredient such as garlic should probably be included in the price. Apparently, the restaurant is doing so poorly that it rips off customers in this way. I went for dinner to a nearby town, where I ate dinner on a table covered with a tablecloth, I got free wine, additionally a delicious cream with bread, at the end limoncello and a handful of sweets... and the dishes were 2.3 euros cheaper each. Please rethink your strategy of cheating tourists. There are many pubs. For this outburst I will never set foot in your restaurant again and I have been visiting Garde every year for 9 years now. The quality of the food also leaves much to be desired.

28/06/2025: Rooms were ok but the air conditioning didn't work so had to change rooms. Also, the hotel could do with a complete re furbished. Setting not ideal, busy road out the front and factory build to the rear of the building.

17/06/2025: Disappointing for a supposed 4-star hotel. Rooms show clear wear and tear: squeaky leaking taps, peeling faux leather, and stained walls. Basic toiletries like toothbrushes incur extra charges. Only positives are the helpful staff and available luggage storage. Note: parking isn't free (€1/hour or €18/day). While conveniently located near the train station and airport bus, the walk involves an unpleasant route through a shady tunnel and along a heavily trafficked, polluted road.

14/05/2025: Jeżdżąc od wielu lat po Włoszech niestety nie spotkałem tak przepysznej pizzy i innych dań jak tutaj. Atmosfera TYPOWO rodzinna . Polecam z czystym sercem. Gdy jestem w pobliżu zajrzę tutaj zawsze.

13/05/2025: Direkt an der Straße, mit Parkplätzen gegenüber, super erreichbar. Beim ersten Blick denkt man eher das es um ein Bistro oder Take Away handelt, doch weit gefehlt. Es braucht nicht viele Worte: -Super leckeres Essen -Top Preise -Super netter authentischer Besitzer und Angestellte Waren die Woche breits in anderen Restaurants, teilweise Innenstadt, teilweise außerhalb unterwegs aber die konnten was das essen angeht, nicht mithalten. Wir hatten Salat als Vorspeise mit frischem Pizzabrot. Pasta für die Frau und Pizza für mich. Alles super und sehr schnell da. Pizza knusprig, Pasta aldente. Man könnte noch mehr schreiben, aber lange rede kurzer Sinn, hier kommt man gerne wieder her, was wir definitiv auch tun werden. Kann man uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen wie die Bewertungen zuvor auch beschreiben.

L'atmosfera era perfetta e la sua attenzione ai dettagli non è passata inosservata.. la sala riservataci veramente top!! la serata è stata una splendida combinazione di ottimo cibo e vino. Romina

15/03/2025: Sosta al rientro dalla settimana bianca. Location curata, vicina all’autostrada, uscita Verona Sud. Servizio rapido. Ottimi gli gnocchi fritti con culatello e mortazza. Unica pecca i due piatti con il tartufo. (Carbonara al tartufo e focaccia con mozzarella e tartufo). Il livello del locale meriterebbe il tartufo fresco e non conservato, troppo commerciale e non in grado di valorizzare i sapori e il profumo tipici del tartufo. Anche i tortellini al parmigiano reggiano buono, ma poco cremosi, migliorabili. In generale piacevole sosta.

26/01/2025: Visto le altre recensioni qui, abbiamo deciso di provare questo locale. Il posto è carino, un po "country"... Personale giovanile educato gentile e veloce. Per quanto riguarda il cibo non ci ha convinto molto! Il tagliere è il solito nella media, primi leggermente scarsi. Tagliata buona ma non tenera come non lo era la costata purtroppo. I prezzi sono un po alti per quello che abbiamo mangiato! Non so se merita cosi tante 4 stelle!?! Mah! Non so se torneremo.

12/06/2025: As a guest in the restaurant: The restaurant is beautifully located right on the promenade – a truly inviting place to enjoy the view of Lake Garda. The service was also very friendly and attentive, which made the stay pleasant. However, you shouldn't be too tempted by the inexpensive pizza on the menu. Unfortunately, what was served was more reminiscent of a reheated focaccia than a true Italian pizza – thick, lacking in flavor, and simply not what you'd expect from a classic, crispy pizza with a thin crust. So, rather disappointing for pizza lovers. The behavior of the head waiter/innkeeper also seemed somewhat strange: While polite, he was quite assertive and had a noticeably condescending manner, especially since we had "only" ordered pizza. This didn't quite fit with the otherwise friendly service. On the plus side, the fish dishes at the neighboring tables seemed very fresh and lovingly prepared – this seems to be where the kitchen's true focus lies. The prices, however, are on the higher side. In conclusion: If you want a nice seat and good service, or are in the mood for a high-quality fish dish, this is definitely the place to go. However, if you're looking for an authentic Italian pizza, you'd better choose another place – there are plenty in equally good locations!

03/06/2025: Restaurant La Cantina Dinner for two Chose a table by the water, it was a table for four, but the waiter asked us to move to a table for two by the building. The table was unoccupied during the meal...okay. The restaurant was about half full, with four waiters and the manager on duty - yet somehow lacking organization. Drinks: A bottle of still water costs €4.50...so far, I've paid a maximum of €3 everywhere (even lavish) - shocking. Ordered wine, didn't arrive by itself, had to remind them when the food was delivered. Food: Chose specifically because of the Grigliata di carne con patate e verdure (grilled plate WITH potatoes and vegetables). No potatoes, reminded them, was excused - it arrived when I was almost finished. The food was okay, what do you expect in terms of meat quality in Italy in a tourist town... Second course was okay/very good. Then the bill: Cover price €6 (we knew that) - also rather expensive. €2-2.50 €9 for 2 bottles of still water €7 for potatoes, which were actually included, but were changed after discussion It's a shame how two small things and somewhat unmotivated staff turned into a not-so-good dinner My blood pressure was elevated a few times... What a pity We don't recommend it
