03/02/2026: This was genuinely the worst restaurant I have tried in Italy and thats coming from someone that studied a semester in Verona and travelled across the country. The truffle pasta was insanely greasy, the bruschetta bread was stiff and the cheese was very clearly old. The only salvageable thing was the aperol but that is very hard to mess up. Not to mention that all the dishes are insanely overpriced for what you’re getting. If you are ever around the area I would recommend you avoid this place, they seriously need to change stuff up. It honestly made me sad since it was the one night I spent in Verona with my parents and it left a sour taste to the evening.

27/01/2026: We had a very nice meal here last July. Although the name might suggest otherwise, the food is definitely authentically Italian and of decent quality. The real standout is the lovely view of the lake, which makes for a very pleasant setting. While it’s in a bit of a touristy spot, we found it wasn't overpriced at all—it’s actually quite reasonably priced for such a prime location. A solid 4-star experience and a great place for a tasty, casual dinner by the water.

16/02/2026: This is exactly how you imagine Italian food to be. Honest, unpretentious, unpolished atmosphere, genuine Italian service, and fantastic food! Locals eat here. We had the tortellini and were absolutely delighted. Very reasonable prices. We felt completely at ease!

07/01/2026: We found the restaurant by chance; we were immediately greeted with kindness, professionalism, and friendliness. We had a quick but truly excellent meal. First course: tortelli: cacio e pepe, radicchio and Monte Veronese, spinach and ricotta, and the excellent tortelli from Valeggio. All handmade, fresh, and topped with excellent butter. This dish alone was worth the visit! We then treated ourselves to a platter of local cured meats; authentic, fresh, and flavorful. We would have liked to continue with dessert, but we were full. The portions at this restaurant are generous. We left satisfied: a restaurant worth trying!

22/07/2025: Vincantiamo was a truly surprising discovery. The pizza is simply amazing, made with the highest-quality ingredients and a care that is evident from the first bite. The meat is also top-notch, cooked to perfection and presented in excellent cuts: a true house specialty. The place is beautiful, with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere that makes every moment enjoyable. A special mention goes to the staff: kind, helpful, and very professional. The service is attentive but never intrusive.

07/03/2026: What a great find last night! The place is lovely, with thousands of bottles (for decoration and for drinking, of course). The service was very friendly, and the food was simply excellent. We also received great wine recommendations. Thank you so much!

25/02/2026: We were passing through Verona and stopped for lunch. The wine he recommended was too cold for a Valpolicella Ripasso. The owner was very arrogant and didn't take criticism. He showed up at the tables dressed as a farmer; he'd be better off changing professions.

18/11/2025: Very kind staff, very fast service. They mad one of the best Carbonara and Lasagna what we ever ate. Carbonara sauce is just perfect and delicious, the pasta was super al dente and the Lasagna was just the best. Nice texture, nice portion and well made sauce. The price is a little bit high, but you get a wonderful view and it totally wort it. "Complimenti!"

17/10/2025: We had bad experience with this place. The waiter was annoying and inappropriately invited passersby in. The worst thing was paying, when we gave the waiter a tip even after this experience, he still entered the wrong amount into the terminal and purposefully robbed us of 4 euros. This experience has never happened to me and I strongly do not recommend the restaurant, even it was at good location…

15/12/2025: We went to Al Porto again, but unfortunately this time, it wasn't good at all. We were with a group. The spaghetti allo scoglii wasn't to our taste; some of us still had stomach aches the next day, and the pizzas were already cold when they arrived. Staff members were constantly shouting from the back of the kitchen to the staff at the counter. The manager even handed an envelope to an employee, who counted the money in front of all the guests. The manager also shouted a few times in the dining room to the other employees about how good someone was at rating the restaurant. They didn't take the guests into consideration. They were mostly German vacationers, perhaps for this very reason. Unfortunately, I no longer recommend this place.

10/12/2025: I tried the Venetian-style fagato, which was delicious and very, very filling. Nice atmosphere, excellent location, fair prices.

14/02/2026: Really bad experience! I always thought it’s impossible to find bad pizza in Italy! But i had the unpleasant surprise to find it in this place. I had two pizzas together with my partner and both of them were very dry! Didn’t felt fresh at all, I thought for a moment maybe they were rewarmed. Such a shame to come to Italy as pizza lovers and to have such an experience! I will never visit this place again!

14/01/2026: A meticulously maintained restaurant with a unique view of Borghetto and the Visconti Bridge. The staff is very attentive and fast. The food and wine selection is well-structured and sure to please everyone. Special mention for the eel, which was truly incredible!

23/08/2025: We've been in Brenzone for a week and have eaten at various restaurants. We usually eat out quite often, but today I had my epiphany at "Ristorante Al Vapor"! We had an aperitif, followed by spaghetti imperial – spaghetti with truffles, followed by a pear marinated in red wine and a grappa. You know when you're almost done, and you eat it all out of politeness? Even if it was really good? Today was way better! I've never eaten such an aromatic truffle, never had such a complete experience! I'm simply thrilled, and instead of feeling stuffed, I feel happy afterward!

08/09/2025: My experience at this restaurant wasn't positive. I had a Smartbox voucher for two people. Cold welcome at reception, they see I have this voucher in my hand and tell us to go to the restaurant, an attitude typical of office workers. They seat us in a corner of a large room where within 10 minutes two large groups of people arrive, shouting and talking loudly and disrupting our lunch. I wonder why we weren't seated in another area where we could have lunch in peace. Then we get to lunch: very salty spaghetti with clams and dry grilled sea bass fillet. The sliced ​​beef requested medium rare, was instead raw. The waitress, a foreigner, who needs at least some training, since she wanted to put parmesan on my spaghetti with clams, brings me the sea bass, announcing: "Who is this fish for?" I don't even know the name of the dish she's serving. To top it all off, at 2 pm, when we were about to leave, the waiter comes over to point out that the restaurant is closing. But where have we ended up? Except for the view. The restaurant is dated, probably from the 80s or 90s. I don't know what it is. The rest are hotels and apartments. I doubt I'll stay at this "resort."
