05/01/2025: Qualità del cibo molto buona, ma purtroppo i piatti non vengono spiegati bene e arrivano diversi da come descritti nel menù. Ho preso una pappa al pomodoro con mozzarella e basilico come antipasto, è arrivata una pappa al pomodoro con mozzarella e menta, l'ho mangiata ma per me che non amo la menta se lo avessi saputo non l'avrei presa. Ho ordinato un hamburger della casa con patate, così era riportato nel menù, non mi aspettavo che mi arrivasse un panino con hamburger, insalata, cipolla, formaggio,pancetta e hamburger. Nel menù era riportato solo hamburger e patete e così me lo aspettavo nel piatto. Nel dolce panettone fichi e noci con fonduta di cioccolato è arrivato il panettone fichi cosparso di zucchero a velo e al lato un cucchiaino di mousse al cioccolato.Il sapore dei piatti è ottimo ma farei più attenzione nella descrizione sul menù o fare le dovute precisazioni delle modifiche al momento dell' ordine. 19/12/2024: Authentic, well-cooked dishes. The presentation of the plates was pretty, (a small tomato in the shape of a flower), we had help from the friendly owner for our choice of dishes, her husband was in the kitchen. Thank you, we have fond memories of this dinner.

27/12/2024: The best duck breast I've eaten in my life!!! But the first courses and the pork shank are also delicious!! All in a very nice and welcoming restaurant, certainly made so by the kindness and friendliness of the staff. I highly recommend it to anyone who happens to be in Orvieto!!!

15/12/2024: Small trattoria in the heart of Orvieto with few seats but very well looked after Fairly classic menu with some daily variations, good wine list I tasted some very good mixed bruschetta, the tagliatelle with truffles were delicate and really tasty...perhaps the portion was slightly small (20-30g more of pasta would be enough), this is the reason for the 4 stars.

09/12/2024: A quick trip to Orvieto with friends, stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, friendly staff, excellent food, not bad wine, it feels like having lunch at home. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

03/12/2024: We were not able to go to another place as it was closed for the season and we found Antico Bucchero by chance…. So fortunate!! We had the antipasto misto, gnocchi with ragu, papparadelle with wild boar and panna cotta fragole and semi freddo cioccolato for dessert/ one of the best meals we’ve eaten in Italy. Not to mention that the maître d was one of the kindest people- expertly handled a challenging guest with dignity. At the top of my list for Orvieto.

02/01/2025: Trattoria, take me away... A little place where chef Rubio would go to jujube soup, this trattoria attached to a bar along Via Tiberina is the ideal place if you are looking for a high-calorie break. We tried some excellent bruschettas and first courses which (despite the abundant quantity of oil used) were in our opinion decidedly interesting. Honorable mention for the hare pappardelle, their strong point, while in the mushroom and truffle fettuccine we had a bit of trouble finding the latter... Fast and friendly service, in this family-run trattoria you can really breathe air of home! Reservation recommended.

30/12/2024: We were very upset by the attitude of the person who very hastily told us that it was not possible to eat, there were other people like us waiting and empty tables and it was 1.40pm. There was no explanation and we all left.

15/12/2024: Last weekend (7/8 December), taking advantage of a Smartbox package that had been given to us as a gift, my husband and I stayed at Marco and Andrea's farmhouse. The place is very nice and suggestive, immersed in the Umbrian countryside. The room and bathroom were very spacious, we had the room called the granary. It's a shame that there was no bidet in the bathroom, however the shower was very large. The radiators, present in both rooms, heated well. On the evening of arrival, Saturday 7th, we ate at the farmhouse restaurant: for meat lovers, an experience worth trying! The breakfast the following day was very rich: croissants, tarts, various types of cakes, yogurt, fruit juices and hot drinks that you could ask for at the moment. Not to be underestimated is the friendliness of the mascot Spank, known as Spanky, a lovable little dog who wanders around the farmhouse cheering up guests with his affability! Experience to repeat!

15/12/2024: We came with a Smartbox package and it was a great choice. The place is located in the countryside and the farmhouse is really beautiful and evocative. The best thing was dinner at the farmhouse restaurant; the dishes were of a high standard and the service excellent. We found a fair quality/price ratio. Same the following morning with breakfast, plentiful and with homemade desserts. The rooms overall are typical and welcoming, certainly very very spacious! A stay to be recommended and certainly a place to return to in the summer to also enjoy the swimming pool!

14/11/2024: A real gem! Typical welcoming tavern. Small but characteristic place. Menu with local specialties and excellent wine list. We had the truffle tartare and a delicious onion parmigiana as a starter. Followed by Ternana-style ciriole with a fabulous tomato sauce, and maltagliati with pumpkin. We were recommended an excellent local wine to drink. In general we really appreciated the friendliness of the staff, the competence in the wine selection and the typical restaurant. Better than many other completely overrated local restaurants. A real gem! Keep it up!

07/11/2024: Piccolo locale in centro a terni. Appena si entra si respira aria di passato, con il locale pieno di quadri e bottiglie di vino. Vino che il proprietario saprà consigliarvi egregiamente conoscendo le cantine selezionate. In più il locale così piccolo gli permette di dedicare una certa attenzione al cliente. Per esempio ci è stato offerto uno dei dolci perché "la porzione non era completa", nonostante per noi fosse già enorme! Le porzioni sono infatti abbondanti e la qualità ottima! Da provare il guanciale abbrustolito!! Punto di forza: qualità/prezzo: 26€ a testa per due antipasti da dividere in 4, un piatto principale e tre dolci, più bottiglia di vino! Metto 4 solo per il servizio un po' lento, forse dovuto al fatto che in cucina c'è una sola persona.

28/12/2024: I didn’t like any of the food, first the appetizer I took is the last one on the menu, 24 euro, what they provide is only small portion of the prosciutto, four small bruschetta and one small bowl of tomato cream, I don’t understand why it cost so much! Second, I ordered mixed chicory spinach and broccoli, I only see spinach, a bit cold plate…third, they forget to serve wine to the table after several reminder…the last but not least, no WiFi! Toilet is also not clean, I don’t recommend at all, tourist place only! Disappointed!

15/08/2024: Fantastisch lekkere gerechten met lekkere wijnen van eigen wijngaard. Supervriendelijke bediening. Wij verbleven 4 dagen in het hotel en hebben er elke avond gedineerd ( wel duurdere prijsklasse maar zijn geld meer dan waard). Culinaire verwenvakantie 😋
