05/01/2025: Qualità del cibo molto buona, ma purtroppo i piatti non vengono spiegati bene e arrivano diversi da come descritti nel menù. Ho preso una pappa al pomodoro con mozzarella e basilico come antipasto, è arrivata una pappa al pomodoro con mozzarella e menta, l'ho mangiata ma per me che non amo la menta se lo avessi saputo non l'avrei presa. Ho ordinato un hamburger della casa con patate, così era riportato nel menù, non mi aspettavo che mi arrivasse un panino con hamburger, insalata, cipolla, formaggio,pancetta e hamburger. Nel menù era riportato solo hamburger e patete e così me lo aspettavo nel piatto. Nel dolce panettone fichi e noci con fonduta di cioccolato è arrivato il panettone fichi cosparso di zucchero a velo e al lato un cucchiaino di mousse al cioccolato.Il sapore dei piatti è ottimo ma farei più attenzione nella descrizione sul menù o fare le dovute precisazioni delle modifiche al momento dell' ordine. 24/01/2025: The signature orso pasta, named after the store, is a tomato-based pasta that will not be liked or disliked. They also sell truffle pasta, so if it’s on the menu del giorno-tartufo (today’s menu), be sure to try it! Steaks are also perfectly cooked! It's recommended. Even if you order wine by the glass, it comes out as orvieto superior :)

12/01/2025: On a cold and windy night in Orvieto, we came across a pleasant discovery: the Trattoria dell'Orso, a welcoming refuge where the warmth of hospitality and the authentic flavors of Umbrian tradition made the evening unforgettable. Personal The staff were friendly, kind and very welcoming, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere for the whole experience. Location The environment is a bit retro and dated, but still very characteristic and in line with the charm of a traditional trattoria. Dishes • First courses: The umbrichelli with wild boar and truffle and the fettuccine with mushrooms and truffle were excellent. The pasta was well cooked, the portions adequate and the sauce generous, also allowing the pleasure of the shoe. There is great attention to the quality of the ingredients. • Second: The duck breast in red wine reduction and caramelized onions was cooked to perfection. The texture of the duck was soft and well balanced by the seasoning. • Side: The potatoes were a real surprise: simply "spacey". We also recommend tasting the aromatic herbs (sage and rosemary), which add a "wow" touch to the dish. • Sweets: Here the experience was less exciting. Most of the desserts were finished, and the pistachio semifreddo turned out to be rather anonymous, a shame because dessert is important to end a meal well. I count We ordered 2 first courses, 1 second course, 1 side dish, 2 desserts and 3 glasses of wine, for a total of 80 euros. Although the price is fair for the quality of the dishes and the overall experience, if it had been 10 euros less, it would have been really great. Overall, slightly high. Conclusion Despite the unmemorable sweet ending and a somewhat high bill, Trattoria dell'Orso offers a culinary experience that we highly recommend. Thanks to the quality of the cuisine and the hospitality of the staff, it is an excellent choice for those seeking the authentic flavors of Umbria.

27/01/2025: The perfect destination to escape from the stress of the city. The place is very suggestive, surrounded by nature and close to many places to visit. The staff is magnificent, especially Andrea, who pampered us from start to finish showing great professionalism. Amazing and original dinners and breakfasts... the stuffed pigeon was mouth-watering. I will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the pool and dinner under the stars.

19/12/2024: Authentic, well-cooked dishes. The presentation of the plates was pretty, (a small tomato in the shape of a flower), we had help from the friendly owner for our choice of dishes, her husband was in the kitchen. Thank you, we have fond memories of this dinner.

03/02/2025: Suggestive restaurant with tables set and immersed in the tuff. Welcoming, young and kind staff. Excellent Chianina appetizers with cherry tomatoes and cherry tomatoes. As a second course we tasted the baked suckling pig (house specialty) which was excellent to say the least, while the grilled one did not stand up to the comparison with the suckling pig. To drink we got a good Montefalco red. Average prices. Advised.

08/02/2025: I took two margheritas to take away, 1 margherita, 7 euros, absurd, plus freezing, and I even showed up five minutes before the appointed time, tomato that tasted like preserves, and mozzarella that looked like plastic, you can clearly see that it was stringy curd! Never again

06/01/2025: 31/12 giro a Orvieto, cittadina stupenda. Cerchiamo un posto dove mangiare e ci troviamo davanti alla Locanda del lupo. Posto gradevole, cucina super. Piatti abbondanti, in due abbiamo diviso una tagliere di sella di San Venanzio con bruschette con olio evo. Dopo quello eravamo quasi sazi. Primi con tartufo ottimi e come ho già scritto abbondanti Tutto buonissimo. Lo consiglio.

15/02/2025: Typical Umbrian tavern. You eat very well! With characteristic dishes of Orvieto!! The truffle pasta is excellent, the starter bruschetta is equally good! Very quick service, even when it was full! Place in the city center, a stone's throw from Orvieto Cathedral

14/11/2024: A real gem! Typical welcoming tavern. Small but characteristic place. Menu with local specialties and excellent wine list. We had the truffle tartare and a delicious onion parmigiana as a starter. Followed by Ternana-style ciriole with a fabulous tomato sauce, and maltagliati with pumpkin. We were recommended an excellent local wine to drink. In general we really appreciated the friendliness of the staff, the competence in the wine selection and the typical restaurant. Better than many other completely overrated local restaurants. A real gem! Keep it up!

07/11/2024: Piccolo locale in centro a terni. Appena si entra si respira aria di passato, con il locale pieno di quadri e bottiglie di vino. Vino che il proprietario saprà consigliarvi egregiamente conoscendo le cantine selezionate. In più il locale così piccolo gli permette di dedicare una certa attenzione al cliente. Per esempio ci è stato offerto uno dei dolci perché "la porzione non era completa", nonostante per noi fosse già enorme! Le porzioni sono infatti abbondanti e la qualità ottima! Da provare il guanciale abbrustolito!! Punto di forza: qualità/prezzo: 26€ a testa per due antipasti da dividere in 4, un piatto principale e tre dolci, più bottiglia di vino! Metto 4 solo per il servizio un po' lento, forse dovuto al fatto che in cucina c'è una sola persona.

Are you looking for peace mixed with good food? Their restaurant is the answer Exceptional stay, from every point of view. Truly complete structure with all possible comforts! I will definitely return, in company, because this location is addictive!

07/02/2025: I used the spa in Altarocca Resort Wine in Rocca Ripesena. The location is special to say the least. Looking on the valley surrounded by wine yards and olives groove. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. The spa is very well organised with a track that includes pool and jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, ice cave, emotional shower. The relaxing room with water mattress and music is one of the best piece. The hanging bed looking over the open air pool and with the fireplace complete the atmosphere. I tried the scrub with olive oil treatment and the girls are so professional. They are very helpful and kind. I went with a friend and we ordered an aperitif that we had in the relaxing area. We totally loved it and can’t wait to go back again….. 90 minutes isn’t not enough.

15/01/2025: Ristorante raffinato, servizio e cucina molto professionali. Il menù non è molto vario, ma molto interessante quello degustazione che alla carta. Inserito nel centro storico di Orvieto e raggiungibile a piedi abbastanza velocemente dai parcheggi a pagamento.

06/01/2025: Fuimos a una comida especial para celebrar nuestro aniversario y estábamos encantados de principio a fin. Los espaciosos escenarios formales de la mesa están rodeados de cortinas blancas en un tranquilo jardín trasero. El servicio de principio a fin fue excelente, la comida refinada y deliciosa. No podíamos imaginar por qué este restaurante perdió su estrella Michelin.
