17/11/2025: While traveling from Berlin to Sardinia in our campervan, we stumbled upon the beautiful old town of Neumarkt/Egna. To our delight, we discovered the superbly located Pizzeria Lauben. In a friendly, family atmosphere, we were able to end the day enjoying delicious pizzas and good wine. The service was excellent, the pizzas arrived quickly and were perfectly prepared, the wine was top-notch, and the atmosphere in both the pizzeria and the adjoining bar was consistently positive. All in all, a real treat!

13/11/2025: We stopped on a rainy evening during a roadtrip from Stelvio to Venice. Perfect stop in a lovely town in a local faily owned establishment. Very delicious pizza with the freshest ingredients, and very good prices. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Magnificent venue located in Riva del Garda, 50 meters from the lake, spacious with large outdoor verandas, elegant, very kind and helpful staff, high quality food, kindness lavished everywhere, excellent value for money, a place not to be missed because it visits Riva del Garda, open in all seasons

25/09/2025: This was an extremely expensive meal where the quality of the food did not meet the total cost. Actually had a meal at their other restaurant 4 Sajons which was 1/3 the cost and significantly better. The initial amuse course was all very tart lacking balance. Foie course lacked balance, the other elements lacked the strength to balance (acid, sweetness, etc) the strongly flavored cold Foie preparation. The lobster course the lobster was very fishy tasting, seemed maybe off? The steak was pretty chewy and not very tender the other parts of the dish were good. Everything else was just okay... didn't have any moments that opened my eyes or surprised me (in a good way). Everything was either lack luster or uninspired or at times not enjoyable.

08/11/2025: We had lunch and dinner at this restaurant. The food was very good. Even with a reduced staff, the service was excellent. The staff were very kind.

06/11/2025: We went there for pizza in the evening. The service was quick and friendly, and the pizzas were excellent. The dessert was equally delicious. All the drinks we had were good – what more could a vacationer ask for?!? Right by the small harbor, a wonderful location. Highly recommended.

13/12/2025: It's huge in size, but the staff is very knowledgeable and organized! The place is divided into several rooms with ample parking! The food is divine, from the pizza to the menu! Everything is impeccable! Clean, tidy environment!

05/11/2025: A hotel housed in an industrial building that has been well preserved and renovated. Quiet and clean, with a decent breakfast and excellent value. Plus, the vintage garage.

10/11/2025: Very good to excellent cuisine, a small menu, but top-notch ingredients. For example, we had the champagne risotto with quail egg and truffle – I can recommend it 100%. The apple fritters with cinnamon ice cream and the crème brûlée were also superb.

18/09/2025: We've been visiting this restaurant for many years, and it's definitely the culinary highlight every year. We always choose the surprise menu and have never been disappointed or had the same dishes. Anna and Roland are a great team, and we look forward to our visit every year. Highly recommended!

06/11/2025: The food was delicious; I loved the dish pictured and was completely satisfied, as was the appetizer (octopus carpaccio). The only flaw is the rushed waiters; as other people have written, it almost seems like they're trying to clear the table as quickly as possible, even when there are only a few people in the restaurant. I'd recommend letting customers breathe a little more (with some limitations, of course). Aside from that, if you're in Riva and don't know where to eat, I highly recommend this restaurant.

04/11/2025: Tiramisu was terrible and they wanted not to give it to us as they claimed the restaurant is closed.

09/11/2025: Excellent self-service, so to speak.. with freshly cooked products.. everything is natural.. water always available... the smartest thing is the reuse of the various dishes... the dishes are delicious to eat because they are made as if they were crackers... recommended stop

30/11/2025: Absolute favorite bar in Gries, staff is helpful, friendly, warm and kind. Coffee is great and don't get me started on the brioches, i love the pistacchio variant! During lunchtime you can also get really wellmade warm dishes, for vegetarians I'd recommend the canederli! Bar Tennis is also great for an apperetivo or some glasses of wine. Total recommendation, the worst part is, that they're closed on sundays.

29/09/2025: Very good pizza made with their own wheat, the staff is friendly and if you eat on the nice terrace/veranda you can enjoy a beautiful view of Castel Beseno at the bottom of the valley

08/11/2025: I went for dinner yesterday and had a great time. It's an elegant place, but the atmosphere is simple and welcoming, the staff is friendly and competent, the food is delicious, and the price is fair. There were a lot of people in the dining room, but I was able to converse with my three companions. Rating 8+. PS. I'm a postman, and I've had to deliver mail to hotels. I remember the melancholy and despair of the COVID years. The evening is like compensation. I thought about the examples economists give to explain the division of labor: one delivers bills and fines, the other offers happy, convivial evenings... luckily there's money, otherwise it would be difficult to reach an agreement.

07/10/2025: A very positive experience 😊 Very nice and well-kept place, impeccable service. Extremely courteous staff, and the waiter accommodated a request I had that wasn't on the menu. They pay close attention to intolerances, and offer many gluten-free options (suitable for celiacs). Really fair prices, especially considering the quality of the dishes served. My only negative: the gluten-free pizza could have been cooked a little longer; it was a bit pale. (Bonus: still-warm bread and a greeting from the kitchen with a small pumpkin soup) Highly recommended!
