21/06/2025: The good is the food great, but the service is always slow, terribly slow, 2-3 hours if you take two courses... try to order another bottle of wine, wait 45 minutes and it's warm. It's unbelievable, for years the same thing, great food, horrible service, which ultimately ruins the meal because you can't order anything. They couldn't even count the order correctly, they had to refund me... it's like the Benny Hill show started a restaurant. Such a shame because the food is really good but I have no idea how to run a restaurant. Also and overpriced.

10/06/2025: The urchin pasta was so delicious. Same with the grilled tuna. Service was a bit slow, but I think it was understaffed. The atmosphere is heavenly. Otherwise, very pleasant experience.

09/07/2025: The food was pretty good - prices similar to the competition - service was terrible! We waited over an hour for our food - there was no person managing the place - three waiters served the table, and none of them knew what was going on :(

13/04/2025: Locale perfetto per ogni tipo di occasione.. anche per toglierti la voglia di mangiare del buon pesce. Ordinata, per non correre il rischio di non trovarla, abbiamo mangiato un ottima ed abbondantissima frittura di pesce, asciutta e buonissima, per finire con dolci che squisiti è dir poco. Lo staff sempre gentile e professionale. Come sempre consigliatissimo!!!

19/03/2025: Siamo tornati dopo una prima esperienza positiva e confermiamo la nostra scelta. Personale accogliente, gentile e preparato, cucina strepitosa. Abbiamo scelto la carne salada tipica, una tartare di manzo, un pasticcio con broccoli e carne salada ed il piatto del giorno fenomenale, con pasta fresca all'uovo, condita con punte di asparagi, gamberi e guanciale. Altro punto forte il pane made home. Avremmo voluto assaggiare anche i secondi, ma le porzioni hanno messo a dura prova anche noi buongustai. Bravi ragazzi!

30/06/2025: I stopped here for lunch as I was passing through. I chose the canederli, very good. Very nice and clean place, fast service and very kind staff. Great place, I recommend it!

27/02/2025: A very nice cafe. Good music. Good beers. They serve appetizers to accompany the drinks, which are very appreciated. And the waiter is very friendly! He treated us very well, very attentive to ensuring that we did not lack anything.

07/07/2025: A lovely restaurant in the centre of Val Gardena. The service was excellent and very helpful. The food was fantastic and probably the best one we had around here. Make sure you try the chocolate dumplings as a dessert.

07/06/2025: An excellent culinary experience based on fresh fish! We were three for dinner and we were really enthusiastic about the experience. If you are looking for a place to enjoy excellent fresh fish, this is definitely the right restaurant. We enjoyed every single course, prepared with care and with raw materials of the highest quality. The fish was cooked to perfection, enhancing the natural flavors without covering them. To accompany the dinner, we chose a bottle of wine that turned out to be a perfect match, further enhancing the dishes. The service was attentive and friendly, helping to make the evening even more enjoyable.

29/06/2025: Cena informale con la mia compagna ed un amico. Posto non facilissimo da trovare ma messo in posizione strategica ed aperto su di una piazzetta davvero carina. Menù semplice con poche portate, come piace a me: indice di qualità e freschezza delle materie prime. Abbiamo ordinato degli antipasti, dei primi piatti e dei dolci. Buona scelta di vini al calice con il cameriere molto preparato nel illustrarli e consigliarli. È una trattoria, quindi regna la semplicità ma nel piatto abbiamo trovato qualità e raffinatezza degne di ristoranti ben più blasonati. Riassumendo: buona location, cibo eccellente, buon servizio, rapporto qualità/prezzo Ottimo. Ci torneremo di sicuro per provare i secondi piatti. Consigliatissimo

20/04/2025: Poco prima di Pasqua, è l'occasione per rincontrare un carissimo vecchio amico che ci viene incontro da Milano. Gironzolando per Trento ci viene fame e prenotiamo qua, incuriositi anche dalle ottime recensioni lette. Servizio accogliente, pulito, gentile e rapido. La cucina è davvero ottima, abbiamo potuto cogliere l'occasione di gustare le specialità a base di asparagi, vista anche la stagione prozia. Mi sento di poterla consigliare con assoluta fiducia. Auguri a tutti di buone vacanze pasquali, ma anche di buon viaggio e di buon appetito. MB

20/04/2025: Capitati per caso per il pranzo di Pasqua con una coppia di amici. Locale semplice. Abbiamo scelto il menù a sorpresa da tre portate. Che dire tutto al top! Qualità, cortesia, ricercatezza negli ingredienti e piatti decorati con estrema cura. Tutto buonissimo da leccarsi i baffi!! Ristorante da ricordare. Complimenti al proprietario!

12/03/2025: Amazing, super creative food and wine pairings, beautiful presentation, knowledgeable and friendly service, wonderful experience all around. My husband and I have enjoyed a lot of phenomenal and high end fine dining venues, Suinsom exceeded our high expectations and then some! We will for sure be back the next time we are in the Dolomites!

04/07/2025: I gave 3 stars only out of politeness. There were 5 of us at dinner with a 2 and a half year old girl who had dinner at home. She was just sitting down, she didn't even drink from the glass because she had her own water bottle, they made us pay 2 euros for the cover charge. Never happened before in our life. A disgrace. 24/04/2025: Settimana Bianca con gli amici, prenotiamo in questo ristorante e mai scelta fu più azzeccata, a partire dal locale tipico molto carino con un affettatrice berkel favolosa, prodotti nostrani appesi,una goduria alla vista. Ordino un piatto di fettuccine al capriolo con riduzione di frutti di bosco, strepitosi è dire poco, anche i miei amici soddisfattissimi di tutti i piatti. Personale gentile e simpatico. Tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglierò.

13/07/2025: The pizza tasted okay. I expected more based on previous reviews. Unfortunately, the pizzas were barely seasoned. The staff was very nice. Unfortunately, there's currently a construction site in front of the shop, which isn't the restaurant's fault, of course. Nevertheless, it was very loud on the terrace during the day, including the jackhammer.

11/07/2025: The pizzas were okay, but certainly nothing special. Towards the end, the middle was more mush than anything else. The staff always chats you up in Italian, even if they speak German perfectly well and you were just speaking to them in German two minutes earlier. They only switch languages when they're completely out of their depth. It's a bit annoying when you're doing it five times in one evening. There are much better restaurants in Merano, and the good reviews here don't really match our experience.
