31/05/2025: Great food and super friendly staff! I accidentally spilled my drink and immediately got a new one on the house without any argument. Plus, the food was great and the service was super spontaneous and friendly! I can't comment on the overnight stay, but the restaurant and beer garden were great!

27/05/2025: Super delicious food. Even the locals are having a good time here, which is always a good sign. It's best to make a reservation in advance! But you can usually get a table for two without a meal.

15/05/2025: Not directly in the center, many locals meet here to end the day. The food is homemade and delicious. We can recommend the tagliatelle and the Herrengröstel (a kind of fried risotto), but the rest of the dishes look delicious too. Service is excellent! Reservations are recommended, though; word has spread that this is an insider tip 😉

07/06/2025: The staff was really super friendly, and there was a lady who let us order in German. To start, we had brusecca as a welcome from the kitchen, which was also really delicious. We had the pepper steak, salmon trout fillet, fries, and fried potatoes. The food was really delicious, with the fish and meat simply super tender. The carbonara was also delicious. All in all, a complete success

06/06/2025: It was a very nice surprise! Excellent food, lovely ambiance, and attentive service! It's a bit hidden, and that's perhaps a good thing in the crowded Torbole area.

07/06/2025: The meal took over an hour. The waiter never came even once after ordering. Despite a request, the food was thrown away instead of wrapped. The food was very good, but the service was unfortunately disgraceful.

06/06/2025: Very nice location. Very delicious food. As the name suggests this restaurant is focuses on seafood but also offers alternatives. You can view the lake and depending on the weather the restaurant can open the awning and or glass windows.

14/06/2025: Nice little hotel in the city center. The standard double room wasn't very big, but it was very clean and also very quiet. With the window closed, you can't hear anything from outside. The air conditioning wasn't too loud either. Breakfast was okay; a bit more vegetables would have been nice, but it was fine as it was. I would book the hotel again if I were in Riva.

13/06/2025: We had dinner several times at the restaurant, all the dishes were delicious, especially the sea bass with grilled vegetables and the crescents with butter and sage. The prices were right. The welcome from Renato and Elia was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

12/05/2025: Excellent atmosphere and service. The restaurant is located in a slightly hidden corner of one of the small squares on the shore overlooking Lake Garda, surrounded by historic buildings. The prawns in salt were good while the cacio e pepe risotto with tuna tartare did not convince us, the tuna completely overwhelmed by the other flavours. However, rice cooking and creaming were perfect. Good prices compared to the quality of the food and the location

04/06/2025: We have been visiting the Seele Hotel – now Hi Hotel – regularly since its beginnings and have almost considered it our second home. The warm atmosphere, the loving surroundings, and the consistently immaculate cleanliness have delighted us time and again. We returned several times a year because we knew: Here, you feel welcome, here, you feel comfortable. A week ago, we visited the new owners for the first time. We were full of anticipation, but unfortunately, this was quickly dampened. The familiar feeling of "arriving" simply didn't seem to materialize this time. Everything suddenly seemed very cold, distant, and almost impersonal. The warm, family-like atmosphere that we had enjoyed so much over the years was gone. Unfortunately, our room had several defects that further spoiled the overall impression: The door seal was broken, making it difficult to close properly. The toilet paper holder was loose and about to fall off the wall, and the fact that they now charge an extra €15 per day for parking doesn't make things any better. The breakfast remained fundamentally the same, but the small, loving touches that once made it so special were missing, such as the homemade cake and the lovingly prepared scrambled or fried eggs. Instead, there was a ready-made scrambled egg, which seemed uninviting and, unfortunately, didn't taste great either. Overall, the hotel has changed a lot, at least in our experience. In the past, the hotel was regularly renovated and maintained; everything was thought out down to the last detail and in perfect condition. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be a top priority. Of course, we are aware that things change, but sometimes it's a shame when so much warmth and attention to detail is lost in the process. We look back with great gratitude on the many wonderful stays we were able to experience at the Seele Hotel under the previous management. However, after this last visit, it seems unlikely that we will return again.

30/05/2025: Trotzdem das Restaurant sehr voll war, klappte es mit dem Service und den Berichten einwandfrei. Wir waren begeistert von der schnellen Handhabung und trotzdem sehr guten Qualität der Gerichte. Die Pizza war eine der besten, meine Frau hatte Gnocchi mit Parmesan und Trüffel. Beides war sehr zu empfehlen.

16/06/2025: Perplessi. Ingolositi dalle ottime recensioni abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante nella speranza di trovare la vera cucina della Val di Sole. Già alla lettura del menù abbiamo osservato che alcuni piatti tipici, in precedenza recensiti, non erano purtroppo presenti (forse per corretta stagionalità); abbiamo optato per un assaggio dei formaggi e salumi locali per antipasto e ci siamo divisi, sulla portata principale, differenziandoci comunque tra primi e secondi della tradizione. Forse la cosa che abbiamo maggiormente gradito sono stati proprio i formaggi, non banali e caratterizzati. Il resto non ci ha convinto per definizione: sapori abbastanza piatti ed anonimi. Musica un po' invadente nel nostro angolo. Il pane nella bustina era poco fragrante (diciamo così). Purtroppo, anche considerando la grande alacrità del personale, cordiale e sorridente, devo osservare che la cucina ha fatto uscire i secondi piatti ad oltre 10 minuti di distanza dalle tagliatelle: davvero troppi per chi è solito mangiare insieme. Prezzi corretti per la tipologia. Magari la prossima volta proviamo di venerdì.

13/05/2025: With my son fishing on the Noce, in the evening we wanted to try this tavern and we chose well. Superlative canederli, spectacular pork cheek and very good carne salada. Definitely to return.

20/06/2025: The pasta with burrata cheese and pistachios served with a clean seafood dish is delicious.

17/06/2025: Good food but the service was really bad. Slow service and we did not get the dessert because after 20 minutes of waiting, we decided to go.

26/06/2025: I actually didn't have time to make a hotel research for this trip but this one have very clean rooms and facilities and a very good restaurant, especially if you order pizza (when in Italy, always eat Italian food, yum) It is not in the city center, but it is not far (and walking is always great), but there is a bus stop in front of it. However, the internal parking lot is too small, and cyclists take over the spaces at times, so if you don't mind you can also park in the street parking lots There are... Well I'll make a deeply review as soon I come back from vacations

25/06/2025: My single room was unfortunately very small, but clean and air-conditioned. The dinner was extremely delicious, and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you, Fanni! A good 15-minute walk from the Cathedral Square. I'd be happy to come back.

14/01/2025: What makes a hotel special today? In my opinion, it is the people who work there and the philosophy behind it. It is also about paying attention to nature and respecting the environment, e.g. the traditions in the region. It is also about letting the guests participate in it by introducing them carefully, without the need for rules. That is an art these days. This is crowned by a lavishly laid table, without waste and excess, but with the special composition of the dishes and the selection of ingredients. You will find all of this at the Gasthof Kohlern. Authenticity among the people who work there. Respectful interaction, lightness and relaxedness as a natural coexistence - guest and host. Exciting stories, integrated into nature. You don't want to leave there and yet it may be precisely the leaving that makes you look forward to the specialness of coming back. And every year there is something new to discover, selected with great care and love. Thank you for being there, dear Gasthof Kohlern team.

13/01/2025: The hotel to relax and recharge your batteries. Josef and his crew are really special. The last time we were there was 10 years ago. Now it worked again and we booked a room including half board over the Christmas period (December 23rd - December 26th, 2024). I summarize the hotel services as follows: 1. Hotel The house has a 125-year-old history. Josef spared no expense or effort to modernize everything. A living room with an adjoining open fireplace (wonderful), a restaurant with a panoramic view of the mountains high above Bolzano, a top wellness department... The infinity pool and hot tub (open despite the cold and it was a show to be in there) A wine cellar, a seminar room (all very, very tastefully designed) 2. Massages A "must", the relaxing massage was a dream 3. Food & Service The absolutely highly professional kitchen surprised us every day with first-class dishes. We enjoyed every dish in the multi-stage episodes. The 4-6 courses were an explosion of enjoyment. It's really amazing what the kitchen does and the quality of the food that comes to the table. All, but absolutely all, of the service staff were professional, quick and absolutely friendly. Here I felt that the crew was behind Josef's concept. So it's really fun to be a guest 3rd room We had room number 6 on the 1st floor An ideal room for us with a balcony and the view over Bolzano was brilliant The cleaning was simply perfect... and we and our dog 🐶 "Oskar" felt really comfortable. Conclusion: The house was already great 10 years ago. Today Josef and his team have once again made a leap forward in terms of quality. I am personally pleased that there are still such first-class hotels with top-class cuisine and service. Celebrating Christmas with singing in the in-house chapel was something very special for us. We just say 'thank you' for this great time. This house made our Christmas 2024 perfect. We'll definitely be back💪
