The garden with pool, the cozy restaurant lounge, the delicious breakfast and wonderful 5-course dinner, the well-maintained rooms, and the warmth of the Haselwanter family made the whole experience truly special!

19/07/2026: Not a good experience here. The reservation I had submitted the previous day was not processed. Subsequently, we were allowed to eat outside. No nice atmosphere. The goulash soup was tasty, but the schnitzel was simple with unimaginative vegetables and soggy fried potatoes. Left quickly.
18/07/2026: Very nice place to haver dinner in Ortisei. Went twice when staying in the village.

10/05/2026: The food consisted almost entirely of frozen products. The fish was dry and of poor quality. Taste-wise, the restaurant seemed to cater to tourists who have little understanding of Italian cuisine. The Italian waiter kept speaking to us in English even though we spoke to him in Italian. The only positives were the view of the lake and the cleanliness of the restaurant.

07/04/2026: I have been coming to this hotel for many years and it is now like a second home, the table service is perfect and the rooms are welcoming.
23/02/2026: We had a very pleasant stay. A cozy, homey atmosphere. The hotel is very clean and spacious. The food was delicious, including a generous breakfast and a four- or five-course dinner in the evening. The family and staff are friendly and welcoming. Easily accessible by car, public transport, and ski bus. The location is quiet and close to a supermarket and shops.

10/05/2026: We arrived at the time of our reservation but had to wait on the balcony for someone to be available. They sat us in a draughty spot. When I asked to be seated at the next table, I was rudely told no because it was reserved (there was no evidence of this). Long waits for dumplings with improbable sslsin and sauerkraut that was actually sliced cabbage. When I return to Caldaro, I will never set foot there again.
07/05/2026: The pizzas at Rottenburgerkeller are delicious, and in addition to the standard classics, they also offer some creative options. The service was very friendly and attentive, and our dogs were welcome! We sat inside in the back and enjoyed complete peace and quiet with our dogs.

16/05/2026: During our trip through Italy, our accommodation recommended Gensiaella Pizzeria Accumoli – and we didn't regret it for a second.
The selection of pizzas was truly extensive and varied, so there was something for everyone. The food was delicious, and everything seemed fresh and prepared with great care.
The pleasant atmosphere was also a real highlight. We immediately felt very comfortable and were able to enjoy the evening in a relaxed and cozy setting. The service was friendly and attentive, which perfectly rounded off the entire visit.
It was a truly wonderful evening during our trip, and we can definitely recommend this pizzeria.

13/07/2026: We had a nice meal. We did notice that it is busier on this side of the lake, resulting in a lot of turnover among visitors. We arrived at 6:30 PM when it was still quiet, but after that, everything filled up. So, I would advise making a reservation if you want to come later.
11/07/2026: Hi everyone, I'm a bus driver who went to Al Pescatore with a group over the phone. They told me it was free, but then they charged me full price, even though I asked for the driver's discount, which most restaurants normally offer. Besides not having eaten well, I also had this experience. So, especially for bus drivers, avoid Al Pescatore in Calceranica al Lago.

07/07/2026: Stopped by for a few hours to use their Spa. Impeccable Spa facilities and very kind staff. The massage was one of the best I've ever had and I've had a lot of massages.
12/04/2026: We were here over Easter – Esser was very sunny, ski-in/ski-out is no longer available, but there's a shuttle service every 5 minutes to the Ciampinoi or Danterpieces lifts.
The food was excellent, and Alice in the restaurant was the heart and soul of the place.

20/04/2026: If you're in the area, you absolutely must go there! The house names aren't random, and the view from the bar and restaurant is breathtaking – especially at sunset! A small hill leads up next to the restaurant, offering a phenomenal view of all of Olang (every part of it). The food matched the view perfectly; everything tasted delicious, homemade, and cooked with love. The drinks selection was also excellent, and the service was professional and prompt. Definitely don't miss it!
