14/01/2025: What makes a hotel special today? In my opinion, it is the people who work there and the philosophy behind it. It is also about paying attention to nature and respecting the environment, e.g. the traditions in the region. It is also about letting the guests participate in it by introducing them carefully, without the need for rules. That is an art these days. This is crowned by a lavishly laid table, without waste and excess, but with the special composition of the dishes and the selection of ingredients. You will find all of this at the Gasthof Kohlern. Authenticity among the people who work there. Respectful interaction, lightness and relaxedness as a natural coexistence - guest and host. Exciting stories, integrated into nature. You don't want to leave there and yet it may be precisely the leaving that makes you look forward to the specialness of coming back. And every year there is something new to discover, selected with great care and love. Thank you for being there, dear Gasthof Kohlern team.

13/01/2025: The hotel to relax and recharge your batteries. Josef and his crew are really special. The last time we were there was 10 years ago. Now it worked again and we booked a room including half board over the Christmas period (December 23rd - December 26th, 2024). I summarize the hotel services as follows: 1. Hotel The house has a 125-year-old history. Josef spared no expense or effort to modernize everything. A living room with an adjoining open fireplace (wonderful), a restaurant with a panoramic view of the mountains high above Bolzano, a top wellness department... The infinity pool and hot tub (open despite the cold and it was a show to be in there) A wine cellar, a seminar room (all very, very tastefully designed) 2. Massages A "must", the relaxing massage was a dream 3. Food & Service The absolutely highly professional kitchen surprised us every day with first-class dishes. We enjoyed every dish in the multi-stage episodes. The 4-6 courses were an explosion of enjoyment. It's really amazing what the kitchen does and the quality of the food that comes to the table. All, but absolutely all, of the service staff were professional, quick and absolutely friendly. Here I felt that the crew was behind Josef's concept. So it's really fun to be a guest 3rd room We had room number 6 on the 1st floor An ideal room for us with a balcony and the view over Bolzano was brilliant The cleaning was simply perfect... and we and our dog 🐶 "Oskar" felt really comfortable. Conclusion: The house was already great 10 years ago. Today Josef and his team have once again made a leap forward in terms of quality. I am personally pleased that there are still such first-class hotels with top-class cuisine and service. Celebrating Christmas with singing in the in-house chapel was something very special for us. We just say 'thank you' for this great time. This house made our Christmas 2024 perfect. We'll definitely be back💪

16/02/2025: Valentinstag am Abend Wir haben 2 Salate miste bestellt …waren reichlich und gut 1 pizza tirolese war nichts besonderes aber OK 1 pizza Zigeuner war nicht essbar nur matchig champignions Und paprika aus der Dose deshalb so voll Wasser Ok habe es ganz nett der bedienung gesagt …. Sie hörte kurz zu und dreht sich weg und kam nicht mehr an unseren tisch wir wollten noch eine tiramiu und Espresso bestellen ich bin dann zu ihr gegangen und gefragt warum sie nicht mehr zu uns an den tisch kommt ..war die Antwort ich muss ja noch die leeren tische saubermachen … wir haben unsere Flasche Quintessenz Ausgetrunken und wollten nur weg! So schade….

10/11/2024: Unfortunately, this restaurant has become very expensive, tomato soup costs 9.50 euros! We have been coming to this restaurant for many years now we avoid it... Many friends are also very 🙁. Dishes are missing even where they were super good! Soups, side dishes, salads are overpriced, the beers are always too warm.

19/03/2025: I've rarely eaten something so expensive and yet tasted "okay." We had beef goulash, which came with four pieces of meat, barely any sauce, and two dollops of polenta, which tasted bland. The mixed salad here consisted of carrots, cabbage, and green salad. (I've had better food at other restaurants around the corner.) The shepherd's pasta was okay. Unfortunately, I don't understand all the very good reviews; we were a bit misled.

16/03/2025: We went to the Snetonstube with no expectations and were very disappointed. We had the pumpkin soup and the schnitzel. Both tasted very bland. It was the smallest schnitzel (and at the same time the most expensive pork schnitzel) I was ever served. Pumpkin soup looks better homemade at home. The service was unfriendly and didn't ask us once if the food was ok, so we couldn't even give feedback. They'd probably rather not ask how it tasted because they already know the answer. I definitely won't trust the Google reviews here anymore (the restaurant rightly does much worse on Yelp).

27/02/2025: A restaurant that offers an authentic and quality experience. The owners have managed to bring the Neapolitan culinary tradition to the city, with dishes prepared with truly excellent raw materials. The cuisine is express, so it is better not to rush to be able to enjoy each dish with the right care. The menu, rich and varied, includes artfully cooked fish specialties (very fresh). The place is nice, clean and welcoming. The staff is helpful, discreet but very friendly and contributes to creating a welcoming atmosphere. To complete the offer, a well-selected wine list. The prices are in line with the quality and offer, making this restaurant a truly recommended choice. An experience not to be missed. Well done

14/02/2025: Un posto dove ti trovi a casa perché i proprietari sono proprio persone socievoli e carine poi da mangiare è stato uno spettacolo! Le mie papille gustative si sono rifatte dopo tanto tempo! .. servizio impeccabile! Cameriere formate e che sanno quello che fanno soprattutto una che sentendo il tappo capiva cosa stava per servirti;una cosa per me bellissima! .. location bella e pulita .. per quello che ti offre ha prezzi giusti! Un po’ alti ma noi siamo andati a mangiare pesce e non una pizza quindi direi più che soddisfacente.. super consigliato!

29/01/2025: cuando en la ciudad hacemos un punto para comer aquí > estábamos allí con algunos de nuestros clientes que también les gusta comer aquí > bueno, el lugar donde conseguimos una mesa era muy ruidoso y la gente sentada cerca de nuestra mesa estaba realmente haciendo demasiado ruido, así que era muy difícil hablar entre sí también > de todos modos, como he escrito tiene realmente una gran variedad de comida y todos disfrutamos de lo que teníamos en general todo el mundo estaba contento y tuvimos una velada increíble >

14/03/2025: On our last visit to Olang (2018) we were here for the first time and even then the food was great. Also definitely recommended in 2025. Very attentive and friendly service; relaxed and cozy atmosphere and, last but not least, excellent food. Please always leave room for dessert!

03/02/2025: Se non fosse stato per la maleducazione di un cameriere, probabilmente questa recensione l' avrei evitata. Domenica,ora di pranzo, ristorante pieno. Mia mamma ed io avevamo messo in conto che il tempo di attesa sarebbe stato più lungo del solito. Ordiniamo due primi di pesce, mi assicuro che non venga messo il peperoncino ( in entrambi i piatti!) Dopo 45 minuti di attesa, chiediamo al cameriere quanto tempo avremmo dovuto ancora aspettare. Il cameriere, evidentemente scocciato dalla domanda, risponde: " signora, il ristorante è pieno, abbiamo più di 200 coperti... C'è da aspettare ancora un po'!" Preferisco non rispondere. Non si merita una risposta! Dopo un quarto d'ora, arriva il primo di mia mamma. Ovviamente, si erano dimenticati della mia richiesta di non mettere il peperoncino. Facciamo finta di niente,un altra volta,perché comunque dopo un' ora di attesa, eravamo più che affamate. Il mio, invece tarda ad arrivare, ancora. Dopo circa 10 minuti, mi portano quello che avevo ordinato, spaghetti alle vongole. Alla prima vista avevo già capito che erano immangiabili. Spaghetti stra scotti, troppo salata, pomodorini e vongole che non sapevano di niente. Davvero un piatto pietoso! Ma cos' è che è andato storto? Praticamente, hanno dovuto rifare in fretta e furia il piatto perché si erano dimenticati di non mettere il peperoncino. Ora, mi chiedo:" ma li assaggiate i piatti quando escono dalla cucina??! " Inoltre, voglio sottolineare il prezzo del piatto, ben 19 euro. Per quella cifra deve essere un piatto più che perfetto! Arriva la cameriera che nel frattempo si era accorta che qualcosa non andava... Mandiamo indietro il piatto specificando il motivo. Ordiniamo un caffè e andiamo a pagare. Fortunatamente, credo il titolare, ha ammesso lo sbaglio e per il disagio causatoci, i due primi non sono stati conteggiati nel conto. La mia recensione vuole essere una critica costruttiva! Ad ogni modo, ci ritornerò magari evitando l'ora di punta...

30/01/2025: Tanta, ma tanta roba. Mi entusiasma sempre vedere un bel locale affollato, con menù talmente ricco che risulta indescrivibile. Il servizio è veloce e cordiale. Per il mio pranzo ho preferito la Pizza con Luganega trentina, visto l'appetito. Prezzi corretti. Si beve bene, anche a bicchiere. Vivace.

04/01/2025: Sono andata in questa pasticceria dopo aver letto le recensioni su TripAdvisor. Gli animali non sono ammessi e non ne faccio una colpa al proprietario, ci sta. Invece mi ha lasciata davvero spiazzata il fatto che alle 16.50 non ci fosse praticamente più alcuna pastina. Ordino una cioccolata con la panna da consumare all' esterno causa cane, e mi dicono che non c'è panna. Cioccolata molto liquida, non di mio gusto. Infine, compro anche del pane visto la presentazione del panettiere e il pane con l' uvetta mi ha lasciato molto perplessa. E piuttosto caro
