05/01/2026: The price was right, and the food was very good. Delicious pizza and a selection of desserts. No waiting time for the food. We ordered and it arrived within 7 minutes. Well organized. The staff is very friendly. The restroom was clean. We'll gladly come again. Thank you!

22/10/2025: We stopped by Ploner for a rest after a hike and were rewarded with a magnificent meal and excellent service—what a gem! The bread basket with colorful homemade baguette was phenomenal, and the tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms and venison ragout was the best of our vacation. We thank our hosts and wish them continued success 🍷PS The wine list also leaves nothing to be desired.

06/01/2026: Welcoming place and very friendly staff. As soon as we arrived, they brought paper and pencils for the two children in our group to color in. The food was excellent. The dumplings with gorgonzola and walnuts were the best I've ever eaten. The goulash with polenta was authentic and not too spicy. The price was right. I highly recommend this restaurant.

31/12/2025: Excellent downtown location, pleasant atmosphere, and attentive service. The maltagliati with venison ragù were excellent. The lamb ribs were expensive for the small portion they served.

17/11/2025: Trattoria la Tana ..via C. SASSI ..67 ..in Groppello Cairoli province of Pavia. In this trattoria you should know that the food is still home-made with truly generous portions prepared with traditional recipes, super seasoned and rich in calories. In a place where you are welcomed with friendliness and lots of warmth and a bit like feeling at home. ..it really feels good and we noticed that many tourists, even foreigners, pass by here..at the table the menu starts with first courses, second courses, side dishes, and desserts, there is little waiting to go to the tables, and outside the restaurant there is a nice free parking..if you arrive by car. I would say that for spending a good day, this is the perfect place in a fairytale village that is wonderfully managed. And the prices are very cheap 20..30 euros.

25/10/2025: A truly lovely and traditional restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My girlfriend and I were able to find a table even without a reservation. The food was good, although I didn't find it exceptional. The only downside: the prices are quite high (cover charge alone is €4.50 per person), although they're in line with other restaurants in the area.

09/10/2025: Very good food on a small menu, but also with excellent daily specials. The wine selection is excellent, and the prices reflect the quality. Reservations are recommended.

22/01/2026: Great food. Delicious steak and baked potatoes – cut into strips, but not as burnt as French fries. Interesting pineapple in cherry liqueur. They also have very good wines. I recommend it for a break from crowded pubs full of Poles :)

20/11/2025: At first glance, it doesn't seem like a great place, but trust me, it's a wonderful discovery! We had a first course that was worthy of a true chef, delicious, and just the right amount of filling! Everything was perfect 👌

05/01/2026: I was at this restaurant on Monday evening. The place was lovely, very well-maintained, the staff were fantastic, attentive to every need, and the food was excellent. The risotto was highly recommended, a real treat. I'll definitely be back.

10/11/2025: The food is very 'average' - we ate in different restaurants throughout our stay in Riva and the pizza at this restaurant was greasy and the pasta resembled a microwave meal. The food was not fresh. The bread for starters was stale and was served in a brown paper bag...It was more pricey than other restaurants for lower quality food. Very much begrudged paying for our dinner.

21/10/2025: Very friendly service, who also speaks several languages. The food was delicious, as you can see from the pictures. We had three pizzas (thin crust but filling), pasta (delicious carbonara, but a bit small), and schnitzel with fries (the schnitzel was crispy and delicious, and the fries weren't overseasoned, fluffy and crispy, with a good texture). In summary, delicious food and good service.

09/11/2025: A truly lovely restaurant with very friendly and attentive service! The prices are absolutely fair, the pizza was delicious, and the tiramisu was a real treat. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting – you immediately feel at ease. The only minor drawback: I personally didn't enjoy the non-alcoholic wheat beer as much, but that's a matter of taste. Overall, a wonderful evening, and I'll definitely be back!

30/12/2025: I was passing by and the reviews were through the roof so had to stop and grab a bite. It may have been me but though the food was amazing, the service was meh. Just not what you would expect from a pricey place.

06/01/2026: A word of advice... Change your cutlery when you change courses. Everything is excellent, but the cutlery needs to be changed. In a restaurant, it's really unpleasant to have your fork taken and put down on the side of your plate. Why waste it over such a small amount?!

24/12/2025: The portion was generous, the cutlet was delicious and tender, with vegetables and potatoes. The desserts are also very good 👍🏻 The only thing I thought was that I'd spend less on lunch. Otherwise, it's a lovely, rustic, and comfortable atmosphere. Parking is in front of the restaurant, very convenient.

22/01/2026: Everything was excellent except for the entrecote. The meat was tough to chew, so I ate a couple of bites and then left it there. I noticed that other tables also had it, but everyone left it behind.

10/01/2026: Great atmosphere and food and went out of the way to note my birthday which was special. We were a bit surprised and offended to be asked for a tip at the end though on top of the expensive meal. Was also surprised to see a high end restaurant put soda in an old fashioned. I would have expected they know better. Not sure if it's the lower standard hotel bar running the cocktails.

07/01/2026: The food was very very very good, but the service not, i didnt feel really welcome as a tourist, from 2 young ladies from staf, i had to go to call them for order after i whait for 15 mins, than i ask for salt and she end bringin it with some brad wich she drop on table like throwing to dogs, we order pasta pizza and salad, they bring pizza after 10 minutes pasta and after another 10 minutes the salad wich is wierd to bring salad in the end.

05/01/2026: We stopped here by chance on the highway exit, and it was a very pleasant stop! The place wasn't packed anymore because it was closing time, but I think it was a matter of luck, as I usually think it's best to book. The atmosphere was refined and the service was excellent. The food we ate was very good, with elaborate and very tasty dishes. We'll be back!
