15/01/2026: We visited this restaurant for lunch during the Christmas period. It was a very positive experience, starting with the restaurant, which is very well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The menu is quite limited, which is reflected in the attention to detail given to the various dishes and the quality and freshness of the ingredients used. Kudos to the chef and the pairings, which, while unusual, were very successful. The wine selection is also excellent, and there are some options available by the glass (since the restaurant serves both fish and meat). The quality/price ratio is incredible. Reservations are recommended.

09/01/2026: This is the kind of place you want to go for a perfect night out. ❤️ The Osteria is historical and located within the original city walls of Riva del Garda. It's been recently restored to its original glory and is just beautiful with unique touches all around. My wife and I were greeted by the host with a warm smile and a friendly atmosphere, the food is local and wonderful, and the service is spot on for what you want for a romantic night out. Try to local wines, cheeses and meats, the slow roasted pork is AMAZING! This is what you hope for when you're looking for an amazing restaurant in Italy! 08/01/2026: WOW!!! This place deserves 100/10!!! We have been several times the last year since this place has been refurbished and WOW!! This place is stunning, If feels so cozy and elegant. The staff is attentive and soooo very sweet, they make you feel like family. The food was amazing and beyond what I was expecting. My favourites were toasted bread with patanegra lard, walnuts and honey, and the slow cooked pig tenderloin wrapped in speck. The wine selection was great and the staff were amazing at finding the perfect wine for us!

11/01/2026: Consistently high quality for decades. Always worth a visit. We order the carne salada every time we go. This time, the strangulapreti and spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino were our first courses – so delicious! For our second course, we had the grilled meat, cooked to perfection. And no meal at Alla Lega is complete without their amazing tiramisu.

08/03/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Rössl Bianco B&B in Merano. The rooms are very clean, cozy, and charmingly furnished. We especially enjoyed the generous breakfast with fresh, regional products – a perfect start to the day. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful; you immediately feel welcome. The location is also ideal for exploring Merano and the surrounding area. We would love to come back and highly recommend this B&B! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

28/12/2025: A super cozy and family-friendly restaurant; we'll definitely be back next time we're in Ortisei! We enjoyed the pasta, burger, and venison ragout; they have a wide variety of dishes on the menu. The experience was topped off by the super friendly staff and their excellent service! We didn't have a reservation, but a table was set up for us right away... in short, I can only say positive things about this restaurant. 😋 If you're feeling up to it, you can even take a dip in the adjacent pool afterward.😁🏊‍♀️

The view is simply incredible, and the entire atmosphere is truly special. Brigitte, the owner, provided us with excellent support from the very beginning – always friendly, professional, and highly experienced. The pre-planning process was absolutely seamless, and we always felt we were in good hands. A huge thank you also to her entire team: attentive, warm, and incredibly well-organized. The service on our wedding day was top-notch, and the food was simply amazing – we received nothing but rave reviews from our guests. Overall, a truly perfect location. 11/01/2026: I ordered seafood pasta, Trentino pizza, and white wine. The seafood pasta was so delicious that I dare say it was the best pasta I've had in Italy. You absolutely have to try it, and it pairs wonderfully with the white wine from the Veneto region. You absolutely have to try it!

07/03/2026: First of all: make a reservation – seats on the terrace and in the front, semi-open area are very popular and subject to reservation. The Nußbaumer thrives on its location, the charming staff, and the fresh cuisine. The menu isn't extensive, but everything is highly recommended! Let Moritz guide you through the wine selection – he can tell you a lot about the local wineries because he knows them personally. Also, head to the heart of the Nußbaumer – the wine shelves have much more than what's on the menu. Treat yourself to more than just a pizza and a glass of house wine. It's worth it!

The waiter was the icing on the cake: welcoming, friendly, and humorous without being overbearing. We had cabbage dumplings and seafood paccheri all'amatriciana: delicious, truly tasty. Highly recommended.

16/02/2026: My partner and I were on our way back from Val di Siusi to Florence and were looking for a place to stop for lunch. After a quick internet search, I trusted my instincts and the dishes I'd seen on their website, and I have to say I wasn't wrong!!! Magnificent view, amazing dishes made with their own artisanal products!!! From the cured meats, to the wine, to the olive oil, and the amazing balsamic vinegar to pair with every dish! Try it and believe it! I want to extend my heartfelt thanks not only to the staff but also to the owner, a person of rare sweetness and humility! We'll definitely be back! ❤️

26/01/2026: I visited Hoamat last Friday and tried their "all you can eat Knödel" event – where you get to try a variety of savory and sweet knödel. It was a wonderful experience for anyone who loves trying new things. The food was truly excellent, and the service was impeccable, with very helpful and friendly staff. The restaurant is beautifully designed with attention to every detail, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! P.S. Another bonus for me as an Italian: the coffee. Since living outside Italy, it's always difficult to find good coffee, and this one pleasantly surprised me.

You can feel the attention to detail and genuine hospitality everywhere you go. Perfect for escaping everyday life and enjoying nature. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back. 11/12/2025: One of the best restaurants I've visited in Riva del Garda. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the interior is absolutely stunning. Anyone who visits should make sure to sit in the indoor garden. I visited in the summer, of course. I highly recommend you try it.
