We had to wait a very long time at the beginning before our order was taken. In our opinion, it's more of a place for Merano's fashionable crowd. If that's your thing, then this is the place for you.

06/05/2026: We spent a week at the Eppanerhof as a family and were very satisfied. The hotel owners, the restaurant manager, and the staff were always very friendly and accommodating. We ate there every day, and the food was excellent. The location is fantastic; you can reach the town center in a minute. Our apartment was clean, spacious, and had a lovely view of Girlan from the balcony. We would definitely come back.

You're always greeted with a smile, the food is delicious, and there's plenty of local wine available – often already in my glass just thinking about it. It's worth it year after year. 07/03/2026: First of all: make a reservation – seats on the terrace and in the front, semi-open area are very popular and subject to reservation. The Nußbaumer thrives on its location, the charming staff, and the fresh cuisine. The menu isn't extensive, but everything is highly recommended! Let Moritz guide you through the wine selection – he can tell you a lot about the local wineries because he knows them personally. Also, head to the heart of the Nußbaumer – the wine shelves have much more than what's on the menu. Treat yourself to more than just a pizza and a glass of house wine. It's worth it!

01/02/2026: We dined at this restaurant one evening during our ski holiday. Even when I made my reservation over the phone, I was struck by the courtesy and gratitude of the person on the other end. The dinner was spectacular. High-quality ingredients. If you truly want to eat typical Val Gardena cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. The gnocchi were spectacular, as were the pappardelle with venison ragù, which was also top-notch. But for us, the venison medallions with polenta and sauerkraut were the standout! The portions were definitely more than adequate, even a little generous (but don't change them!!). I absolutely have to give a huge shout-out to Mr. Pietro, who served us impeccably and was incredibly kind and also very, very friendly. We will return to this restaurant every time we return to Selva di Val Gardena. We hope to see you in the summer! Hugs from Rome! ❤️

23/03/2026: An absolute gem. If you desire excellent traditional food of Alto Adige, and yet also a bit of modern flair, Arome Thaler is the perfect restaurant. The tartare di manzo might be the best I've had. The salad of asparagus and scallops was bright and fresh. Roast veal, succulent and tender. Wonderful Lagrein. And, perfect waitstaff. An excellent experience.

15/03/2026: Great experience! We had a nice table upstairs to the left - perfect for privacy within a small group. The service was exceptional, same with the food. The T-Bone Steaks were on point as requested. Very, very good. Totally recommended.

07/05/2026: We ended up here for dinner because there's a charging station right outside, so we had a fully charged car after eating. The restaurant was very busy, but we received a very friendly welcome and were seated right away. We had a hard time choosing from the pizzas. They were all delicious. The prices were reasonable. If we come back to this area, it will primarily be because of the lovely restaurant. Charging the car is a nice bonus 😄.

03/05/2026: The pizza is good but we spent way too much compared to how much we ate

03/05/2026: Four-course tasting menu. It starts with an appetizer of polenta taragna and cheese (good), followed by a tartare that is an explosion of flavors. Then comes a risotto with a sort of wild hops reminiscent of asparagus and honey (spectacular), followed by duck with apple cider vinegar and mushrooms (my least favorite due to the meat's texture), and finally a dessert with matcha and strawberries (unusual and not too sweet, pleasant). To finish, a glass of house limoncello. A welcoming atmosphere, quick and courteous service, and very good bread deserve a well-deserved 5 stars. It's not an everyday place because quality comes at a price, but the food is good, and I'll be back!

11/04/2026: A very cozy restaurant with warm and welcoming service. Both the appetizer and the steak for the main course were excellent. We would gladly return. The kitchen and service staff took gluten-free requirements very seriously and prepared everything accordingly. All in all: A perfect evening.

04/05/2026: A great place for lunch or dinner. Located in a vineyard near Riva del Garda, it offers a wonderful atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying a meal.

18/05/2026: We sat inside as it was getting cooler outside. Nice friendly staff and a goid selection on the menu. Everyone we happy with their food. The only disappointment was that there was no cheesecake left, I had apple strudel instead.

16/05/2026: A great place with great food. Bruschetta, tuna tartare, carpaccio, grilled tuna, fish, pizza, pasta, desserts... everything is perfect. I highly recommend it.
