17/05/2026: The location is excellent, and overall it's a beautiful resort. If I had to offer a small constructive criticism, I'd give the front desk more attention. They didn't provide us with enough information, and it took us a quarter of an hour to find our room, asking for directions twice. Overall, I didn't experience this kind of courtesy in making guests feel pampered. Other couples felt the same way. At the gala dinner, a woman asked for chamomile tea after not eating anything; it was charged to her room. I find this rude. Think about it and use this review to help you improve.

06/07/2026: Great experience! I had a really good cacciucco, tasty and plentiful. The service was fast and the staff very friendly. If you like fish, I recommend it!
05/07/2026: Very, very expensive compared to what was provided! For a sea bream shared between two people and a side of potatoes (very few and reheated, they weren't fresh), water, and 1/2 liter of wine, €30/person—quite exorbitant!
Compared to the Italian islands and other Italian destinations, the quality/price ratio is 100 times better, and thank goodness!

19/05/2026: Unfortunately, the food wasn't of very high quality. We both felt unwell after eating, which I suspect is due to the use of additives. It seems that using only fresh and pure ingredients isn't a priority here.
The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant's location overlooking the harbor is, of course, lovely.

12/07/2026: A really nice osteria/pizzeria where the staff is very friendly. When we arrived without a reservation, a table was immediately made available for us. Tasty grilled steak with vegetables and delicious pizza. Highly recommended for tourists visiting this charming town.
09/07/2026: Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't good, and we had been misled by the positive reviews. My wife's Margherita was like cookie dough; the tomato sauce was spread far too thinly and tasted of absolutely nothing, and there was hardly any cheese on it. My Regina came without tomato sauce, which I had overlooked, but was stated for classic pizzas, and I find that a very generous interpretation for a Regina. My tomato salad was also uninspired. It was simply quartered tomatoes without any onions or dressing. The service was friendly, but at times a bit overwhelmed.

18/10/2025: A must-try experience for meat lovers. The Maremma beef Florentine steak was delicious! We opted for the tasting option, and it was truly an excellent choice. It was all paired with Bolgheri wine, highly recommended! Next time, we'll have to try the famous Japanese beef, which isn't always available, though. Prices are in line with the products offered.

We went to Risto-Macelleria San Marino for an evening with friends.
They offered us a set menu with appetizers, two first courses, various cuts of meat, side dishes, wine, and dessert.
Everything was excellent and cooked to perfection!
The staff is welcoming, kind, and very professional.

12/07/2026: After several years of presence in the area, I can say that in all of Piombino and Baratti it is the best for quality/price ratio, average cost 60/70 per person but it is worth it. More than generous portions, high quality, friendly staff and obviously the terrace overlooking the Gulf of Baratti is a postcard. Well done, well done.

28/12/2025: After landing in Livorno, we arrived at the Royal Forum, where we were greeted with the utmost kindness, friendliness, and professionalism. This was followed by a delicious meal that certainly makes the place highly recommended. The tiramisu and pappardelle with wild boar were sublime. Greetings from Bergamo.

08/07/2026: Beautiful restaurant on the Porto Azzurro harbor. The food was truly excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They also accept dogs, so our dog enjoyed dinner with us.
